Brown Sugar Milk and Call me Ubae (steamed Ube snow)

Cute little teadm location. This is a mini location that has minimal indoor seating, but it's a nice place to get your drinks to go. I got the call me ubae with 50% sugar, which was perfectly sweet and had a nice ube flavor. My fiancé got brown sugar milk, which tasted okay but didn't come with the brown sugar boba already included (which is pretty standard amongst other boba shops), so taking one star off for that.

I must be getting old, since I remember when this compact shopping mall along busy Maple Ave (aka Rt. 123) was for years referred to as the "Magruder's shopping center," when that now defunct grocery chain was the main draw for folks in Vienna. I was in the area and a friend suggested we stop by the TeaDM Mini for a post holiday get together treat. TBH, since boba drinks are nowadays a once or twice a month indulgence, I didn't even know this diminutive shop existed before last weekend. I've visited some of the other TeaDMs locations, most notably their outpost at the Eden Center, and as the name implies, this place is "mini" sized. Walking in, to the left is the bar where all of the drinks are prepared, to the right is a small counter with about 8 chairs for seating, and that's about it. If there are more than 10 people inside, the interior would be "crowded." I appreciate all of the Asian inspired design choices; from the Japanese Style manga photos on the wall, to the figurines and other tchotchkes which line the bar and counters. I ordered my usual drink of Jasmine Milk tea, 50% sweetness, light ice, with coffee Jelly. The tea flavor was nice and strong, and did not have that off putting "made from powder" flavor, since the beverage base was definitely brewed. I should've asked for 25% sweetness, since the drink was still a bit too sweet, but the semi-bitter but flavorful coffee jelly pieces provided a necessary contrast. This is more of a take out place, but there is also two benches outside where people can sit and enjoy their drinks in the warmer months.

I have gone to this TeaDM Mini location a few times now and have consistently had a positive experience. This location shares several parking lot areas with multiple retailers. It is pretty small inside and is meant as more of a quick takeout spot. If you are familiar with TeaDM, this location has a consolidated version of their full menu so make sure to check ahead of time that your drink is available here before making the trip. TeaDM has a buy four get one free special that gets me every time haha... I have tried alot of their menu items, but my favorites so far have been: Green Thai Milk Tea, Mango Milk Tea and Seasalt Coffee RTD. I really like that the ice here is smaller and crushed so it won't leave your drink super watery or diluting the flavor as it melts. The staff are always friendly and polite and drinks come out in a reasonable amount of time while remaining accurate. I will definitely be back again soon to continue trying more menu items :)

Truth be told, I'm no Boba expert, but this tea with passion fruit and mango flavors was perfect for a hot day. Service was friendly and ultra fast. I'll 100% be back to try other flavors!

We were visiting Virginia for the 4th of July week. I had researched for boba places prior to our visit and came across TeaDM Mini. After our trip to Monticello, we stopped by to get some boba. My younger son loved the anime wall that they had since he is interested in One Piece. I'm an amine fan and this was part of the reason why I wanted to come here. The place is small and it is meant to order/pick up. We got the moonlight mango, strawberry milk tea, call me Ube, color switch lemonade and the Vietnamese ice coffee. Service was quick and the drinks were good. I would come back the next time we were in Vienna.

This boba tea shop was very nice and cute! We ordered and received our drinks in a timely manner, and all of the staff were friendly. Inside it is very small, and has no seating area, but we were ordering to go so it was not an issue. Additionally, the price was good- 5 drinks (buy 4 get 1 free) were about 27$ with tax. Reasonable enough to ask 6$ per drink including boba. I would recommend.

DRINKS - Seasalt Coffee RTD: light Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk and sea salt cream on top - Tea DM Milk Tea The Seasalt Coffee RTD tasted like legit Vietnamese Coffee. It's not too sweet and strong - just the way I like it. The boba was also soft too and added to the flavor. Would highly recommend! VIBES It's an overall small place but tidy and cute. There's not much seating available either. SERVICE There was a buy 4 get 1 free deal which was pretty sweet. The drinks came out fast, tasted good and the people were all very nice.

I've come here a couple times and I love it. Lots of options to choose from with bubble tea or jelly. You can get milk tea or others. They also have a sweetness level that you can choose as well. Not a lot of space to sit inside so it's more or a grab and go kind of thing.

So glad that they have this location in Vienna!!! Same great menu and the staff were helpful as well as quick to make the drinks. Parking in the shopping center is available but can be tricky at times but worth it compared to driving all the way to Eden center! Will be back soon~

TeaDM is a great boba tea shop that's actually not too overpriced for once. I am usually left satisfied, sorta unsatisfied after drinking boba tea, but this spot is so cheap that it doesn't even matter honestly. I ordered a taro milk tea with lychee jelly--something different from what I'd normally get--and it hit the spot. It was only $4-5! If you show them your Yelp or Google review, you also get 20% off! The taro milk tea balanced sweetness and freshness from the lychee jelly I added. It was soft, and the flavor of it all was really good. The place is quite small but has really great service. You get your drinks pretty quick, and the staff is always friendly. Overall, it's a place I'd recommend to anyone around the area and a place I'll definitely keep going back to. Honestly, what more could you ask for?

I LOVE TeaDM and I was really excited to find out there's a closer one! The place was very clean, neat, and smelled fresh lol I got the Hokkaido Milk Tea and I've never had anything like it. Just went to TeaDM, we got there roughly around 9:25. Walked inside and they said they closed at 9 but wait it says they closed at 10 and even their own door said they closed at 10. Crazy thing was they even were making a drink for a customer but yet can't take our order. Like if you guys close at 10 then follow your own time because that was the biggest waste of 30 minutes ever. read more

Not cool. I came to teadm as their rewards app gave me a BOGO and indicated it's been awhile since they've seen me. I get there and they do not honor their rewards program anymore and said they were moving to a different program. If that is the case, you should really not email your patrons a false BOGO deal. read more

The tea was okay, the location at Eden Center seems to be better in terms of taste. The milk teas don't seem to be that consistent. I would get a fruit tea from here if you want to try it. The location is kind of hard to find, you can't really see it from the road unless you are really looking. read more

I've heard so many good things about this place, so I decided to give it a try. However, when I order the cashier's recommended drink, it was filled with 95% ice. I really wanted to love this cute place in Vienna, but unfortunately I won't be returning. Such a waste of $5. The coffee was really good, but I wish I had more than 5 sips. read more

TeaDM is seriously one the best boba places in the area. Their drinks are always well made! I have been to both Arlington and Vienna locations and each time I go, the customer service and the taste of the drinks are on point! My favorite drinks are: rose milk tea, jasmine milk tea, and sea salt coffee. Their boba and milk pudding topping is amazing and not overly sweet. All boba lovers need to try this place. read more

This place was surprisingly good. I got my Thai milk tea very quickly as soon as I finished paying and the tea was great better than Kung Fu Tea and some other places I tried. I live quite far from this place so I probably can't come here very often but it was very good! Definitely worth it. read more

A friend told me about the Vietnamese Sea Salt coffee at Tea DM. Stopped by yesterday and tried it. Delicious!!! I'm a fan of Vietnamese iced coffee in general but this was awesome with the salt flavor. I will be frequenting this place a lot! Hope they get a rewards program soon. read more

I tried the Pass & Go and the tea itself is good. The boba is really fresh compared to other places. Only problem is that the top isn't sealed so 1/3 of the tea spilled out and into the bag they gave me anyway. At least it didn't spill in my car. For the price though, especially in this area, it is decent. Just be careful about the top not being sealed. read more

TeaDM mini wins it for customer service. Since it has arrived to Vienna it's been nothing but a hit. Every time I have been in there the employees have been nothing but helpful and still are even during this pandemic. I do have to say Sarah is one of the best employees and will take her time to make sure she helps her customers. Any questions you have she never gets annoyed and helps people out. The drinks here are fantastic! If you're looking for a quick boba stop, do not hesitate trying TeaDM in Vienna. read more

This is a cute bubble tea shop that I pass by everyday and I've been wanting to try the popular sea salt foam Vietnamese coffee with coffee jelly. The coffee is very strong and a mix of bitter and sweet. Based on my last experience with Vietnamese coffee I should have expected that but it was still too strong for me. Having this at 9pm was a bad idea because I took only three small sips and it kept me up until 4am! I saved the rest of my drink the next day when it's more diluted. My friend got the milk tea and I think I prefer that. My husband got the milk tea with half sugar and with mango jelly, but the mango jelly makes the milk tea very sweet and the mango jelly syrup overpowered the milk tea taste so I would skip the jelly toppings next time. We checked in on Yelp for free topping and also took advantage of the buy 5 get 1 free deal. The employees were nice and patient with answering all our questions since it's our first time. I would come back to try some other drinks. read more

The original location in Eden Center is where we usually go for drinks but it's nice having a location closer to us. They're still finding their rhythm at this location as it's new. Unlike the original location, they're still on Fivestars also which makes it convenient to earn discounts and rewards for the drinks you purchase. The original has a cellphone # based in-house incentive program so it's not as easy to track. Sea Salt Coffee w/ Coffee Jelly is our fave. read more

I've been looking forward to this place opening after I read about their new location a few months ago. Came here three times during their soft opening week and ordered different drinks each time. I tried their Okinawa, sea salt coffee, jasmine milk tea, teadm milk tea, and match green tea and all the drinks were on point! The tea was just right (I prefer a stronger tea taste) for all the tea drinks, the honey boba was not overly sweet and the level of chewiness was consistent each time. I'm so excited I finally don't have to drive too far for boba anymore! read more

This is the second times I bought sea salt coffee. I bought 5 of them and the lady offered me buy 5 get one free. When I got them I found out there are a lot of ice less of coffee. I couldn't even taste the coffee. If you want to offer free drink with extra ice. I 'd rather get only 5 cups instead of 6. I have to let them sit at least 1 hr. before I can drink it. read more

I just don't get it. How can a customer pay full price for a cup yet have it filled with only 50% of coffee (referring to the sea salt coffee drink). I finished the whole drink within 3 mins. Andd if you ask for light ice they give you even less! After reading and hearing the multiple complaints about the same issue I guess the management doesn't care about the customer. read more

really polite staff! i asked them what they recommended and they answered all my questions fully while trying to recommend what i would like best based on my taste. i'm usually shy but they made me feel really comfortable. they even provided a sample to taste. the tea overall tastes fine, like your average bubble tea place. unique flavors and the aesthetic makes it hard to not come back! read more

Bubble tea is probably one of my favorite exotic drinks. I was at TeaDM Mini on there first day of business and they didn't have the smoothie drinks so I was like "ok I'll just get regular tea," it was delicious. But then today, 2 weeks later I go in and order the mango smoothie with honey boba. It takes them about 7 minutes to make my drink and there was nobody in line before me. So I finally get my drink and I taste it. It was just not good. The smoothie tasted like mango extract with sugar and milk. And then the boba just made everything worse. Today was not a good experience for me. read more

The customer service was definitely the highlight of my visit, but improving the appearance and upkeep of the store would make for a much better overall experience. I would return because of the helpful staff and hope to see some improvements in the future.

At 100% sugar, it really could have just been straight whole milk which was sad. I wouldn't bother trying the food because if the boba is that flavorless and it's their name, can't really imagine the food being much better. Everyone was so incredibly disappointed to see that our go to spot was replaced by this. With a million great options at Eden Center, trust me you'll want to skip Boba with Mi and get basically anything else.

The 'manager' is the big chinned girl at the register, and the other person is the employee. I'm a big fan of TeaDM, so I had to check out this TeaDM Mini spot. First off, what the heck is TeaDM Mini? If you've been to their other locations, you know they're usually pretty spacious with plenty of seating and sometimes even food options. Well, this one lives up to the mini name. No seating, just walk in, grab your drink, and you're out. But don't worry, they've got all the same drink options you're used to. My go to drink is The OG iced coffee. Service is fast, and the drinks are just as good as the other locations. Worth a stop if you're in the area and need a quick caffeine or boba fix. read more

I love the Strawberry Milk Tea here. Saw two really hot asian girls working when I went, one had some sick tattoos and another had some cool purplish dyed hair. Been back a few times since then and haven't seen them since. The drinks and cute workers make me want to come back! I'm thinking about trying the other locations, but Vienna is the closest to me since the drive from Oakton isn't too bad. read more

This is my favorite Boba spot in VA!! My friends always ask me this question and I say TeaDM. Their TeaDM milk tea is always my go to and you can't go wrong with it. I have been coming here ever since it opened and it's been great. Their milk teas and their speciality teas are all amazing. I highly recommend this place if you have not tried it yet!! read more
