My engine had an awful smell which got into the car. My garage couldn't find the cause and suggested a power wash. The team headed up by Alfredo the detailer found a dead squirrel and did a fabulous job cleaning and disinfecting the engine and then did a full wash. Car was never cleaner. read more

Absolutely love this place. The owner is such a stand up guy. I was in dire need of getting my car cleaned due to a mishap. Called another place that was going to charge me $150+ for the clean. Then I called Summit Car Wash, spoke with the owner on the phone and although they were close to closing, he told me to come and that they would stay open for me. Everyone there was so nice and professional. They did such a great job cleaning everything, better than I was expecting. And at the end, the owner only charged me the price for the a regular wash. I have been here many times out of convenience and they continue to do a poor job. The top priorities of family cars is the back of the seats (kid footprints) and cupholders/doors (again messy kids). Brought my 1 week old car her....comes out with nice pattern scratch which was obviously done by one of their machines. The owner's (Danny) response of course is they didn't do it. He claims that someone must of done this when my car parked...of course. Danny how about stopping the line for a few hours to clean all of the dirt and salt out of your brushes. STAY AWAY. There aren't many places around the area, thus I made the mistake of going here numerous times simply because it was convenient and close by. Ridiculously high prices aside, if you care about your car or would like a carwash that doesn't come bundled with scratches, frustration, and confrontation by the person "managing" this place, then stay away! On numerous occasions I've seen the mis-managed crew drop their towels on the pavement and without skipping a beat proceed to wipe down my exterior paint, rims, and interior leather all with the same gritty dropped cloth. Pointing this out to the guy running the place only got me insulted. I made one final mistake coming back, and now I have a 9-inch long scratch down to the primer from a worker with a power washing hose with an unprotected metal nozzle. When I pointed out what happened to the same guy running the place, mysteriously, a new rubber protective sleeve appeared on the spray nozzle, and I was insulted again. To this day the scratch reminds me of why I will never go there again. read more

I drove through spilled yellow paint (aggh!) this morning and it was splattered all over my tires, wheel wells, and the side of my car. I use Yelp for everything, but since I had to get to a car wash before the paint dried I just google mapped the nearest car wash and Summit was it. And thank goodness bc I probably would've been scared off by the reviews on here. But I had a completely opposite experience! I told them what happened and the owners (or managers?) were so awesome. They ran my car through twice, spent extra time scrubbing off the paint, then used black under spray on the residual paint smears left behind in the wheel wells. Finally they went around the car and polished off every little speck of paint left behind. It was a busy Monday morning too, so I was surprised when they took the time to help me out. Esp bc my car was such a mess! They wouldn't accept any kind of extra payment and even gave me a coupon for a free wash and wax when I thanked them for their help. As I said, I use Yelp for everything. Since they refused to take my money, I figured an unbiased review was the least I could do pay their kindness forward. I was definitely a bit nervous after reading some of the negative reviews here for the car wash, but I decided to give our local spot a try... (+$1 for SUVs) $18.50 + tax for a "deluxe wash," and they did a pretty good job. My business of comparison will always be PROWASH on 22, and I may go back to Summit Car Wash again to see if they're consistent. Quick clean. Good cleaning job. They actually cleaned out the cup holders, which is a nice touch that PROWASH doesn't do. Not that many streaks (although there were a few spots on my front/back doors that they missed), and the service wasn't bad. Nothing special about this place, just a good wash locally. read more

I got my car detailed here. the price was $200. for the price I would say the service was mediocre at best. I think I could have paid a couple of teenagers to do the same quality job for $100 . they didn't vacuum in some spots. they left residue of the cleaning agent everywhere. I even wiped the passenger seat and I noticed that there was still dirt coming off. In fact the whole seat looked dirty. What did I do to deserve this? I feel like I got ripped off. My car was still filthy after I was ushered to be advised my car was done w the wash. I pro-actively took a towel and started to clean the interior myself. Didn't mind and didn't want to bother asking them to finish the cleaning job. Two men aggressively approached me and they were obviously perturbed I was cleaning because of my dissatisfaction. They shared I couldn't clean and asked me to exit the property w my car. I politely asked for them to finish the wash I had just paid for and they looked annoyed at my request. I paid over 20.00 for an incomplete job, graciously offered to clean myself and was treated as if I was a burden. The reality is I was their customer and they grossly failed to offer and complete their car wash service. I left w my car dirty because as a female, I was frightened by their aggressive demeanor. They did a better job if you go early in the day when it is not crowded. It seems the dry personnel vary in their experience. I had to point out that they did not put the wheel shine stuff I paid for on my tires. They were real nice and left the car looking great. I drive a convertible and a bird did its business on the car seat. I also drive for a Mexican restaurant which makes my car smell like Mexican food. When my car was returned to me I noticed that the bird crap was still on my seat and the car still smelled profoundly of burritos. I asked the guy about it and he said they only do windows and vacuum. I pointed out that they were wiping down the interior of the car next to me, he replied that they were simply vacuuming, as if I didn't have eyes. DO NOT USE THIS CAR WASH - It took me some time to realize that the issue of chips of paint coming off my car bumper was in fact due to the equipment used at this car wash. I had my bumper freshly repaired when I took the car to the Summit Car Wash. As soon as it came out of the wash, I noticed the same issue of a paint chip on the bumper. When I confronted them about it, they totally denied it. Not only their equipment damages your car but then the employees are dishonest people. I would definitely not recommend having your car taken care at this place.. As you can notice on other reviews, the managers of this place are very threatening and rude. HORRIBLE. I asked for them to remove some sap off my car. Danny told me to come for 30 mins of work in the afternoon and I would be charged $30. I called to make an appointment with him and they said he would be there Thursday. He wasn't there. Jimmy and his coworker helped me. Poor rush job, marks all over my car, AND they tossed around everything INSIDE MY CAR! I believe they tried to rob me. Don't waste your money. I can't imagine why this place has a line of BMW's, Mercedes and Lexuses every time I pass by. If I paid $80k for a car, I would expect it to be clean enough to eat off of. Let's start with the price. $23 for a "deluxe car wash" (in and out) with tire shine. I'm not bitching about the price - I don't mind paying that much, but the car should be clean. Both the passenger and driver's sides of the car are covered with water stains. Yes, I understand that water gets trapped behind the side mirrors, and comes out when you drive, but pressing a towel against the spot will get a lot of that water out. The windows that were supposed to be cleaned as part of the "deluxe" package are covered with lint and/ or water spots, which I unfortunately didn't notice until a few hours later when the sun hit them. As far as the inside of the car, they were very literal when they say that they will "vacuum" it - that's all they do. They don't wipe the door jambs, or the rocker panel, or the dash board. The coat and CD case that were on my back seat were thrown on the floor so they could vacuum the seat. This might have been to cover up the fact that they neglected to put back one of my floor mats. I've lived in Summit since 1983 and have been taking our cars to the Summit Car Wash that entire time. They have always done an excellent job with the car wash, and also do a great job on detailing our cars. I don't know what those other people are talking about. The Managers just don't care, plain and simple. If you bring anything to their attention, they will tell you to go away. I had neatly bundled receipts that wee thrown out by the folks cleaning. I brought it to the attention of the Manager as a training issue. He told me not to come back. LOL The cashier who heard the interaction told me he was the nephew of one of the owners and this was common behavior for him, and that i should say something to one of the other managers. I'm currently working at a Celgene Pharmaceutical construction site. I decided to go to the Summit car wash to wash the mud off my BMW's body and vacuum the dirty rugs before Sunday, Mother's Day. They noticed my interior rug had winter salt caked-on since the previous winter. Summit Car Wash gave me an offer I could not refuse. They did me a favor and detailed my interior along with power washing my rugs. They did a great job, and unbelievably, the rug (especially the driver's side) now looks brand new. read more
