The first time was my transition to the Affordable Care Act, which is a quagmire at best, especially coming from a life of company heath care plans. If you want an insurance broker to find the WORSE possible plan with NONE of the people you have asked to make sure that are on the plan, then go with Frank Airey with the Health Insurance team. Where do I begin? I sent him a detailed list of our primary care physicians and not only did he recommend a several different insurance carriers for EACH member of our family, the very list he was drawing from was outdated! All but one of our physicians didn't work with the various plans, AND the one that did work wasn't listed as the primary for our child. Altho we live in Seattle, he signed our child for a clinic out of town (thus claims denied and now we are in endless appeals process). Again, if you want your health insurance needs to go completely sideways and then UPSIDE DOWN definitely get Frank Airey because rather then fix his MILLIONS of f#$k ups, he DOES NOTHING! NOTHING TO FIX ANYTHING AND INSTEAD sends an email that says, "well, obviously we can't help you with the level of service you need so we are letting you go and taking you off of our books." I am only highlighting one of the MANY endless mistakes from no insurance cards to not signing us up at all to having to continue to follow up every step of the way because they do not dot any "i's" and just don't follow up.
