I wouldn't bother signing up as a free agent without knowing members of the team/the captain pretty well. Some of the captains they rely on are as rude, dishonest, and incompetent as the league officials. The league will tell you they can move you to a new team if you don't get along or are mistreated by the team you're assigned to, then they will wait too long or end up not bothering/lie and tell you it's too late as apparently this league is too serious. Even if there are games remaining in the regular season. If you like having rainout games not being made up and credits not being offered as stated in the terms and conditions then go ahead and sign up. If you like being told specific rules have been disregarded because of apparent captain votes the league didn't announce go ahead. If you want to be assigned to a field you didn't sign up for with no explanation or apology, then be scheduled to play starting as late as 10pm go ahead. This is a ripoff and inconsiderate. I have been polite and am being treated like crap. Don't bother discussing refunds in any circumstances. They probably wouldn't give one even if they cancelled the season. If the league disbanded they would probably try to give you leftover shirts as a comp instead of your money back. No arm floats, only the kind that wraps around chest and/or life jacket. You can have water bottle (the haven't said anything about it, besides staying hydrated while swimming is a safety measure too) we still bring other drinks and snacks but we eat those on the outside picnic table. Rest and go back swinging. Sometimes just come to swim get tired and leave after talking a nice shower, then take them for a meal.

Staff won't call coaches who don't arrive on time for practice, saying they are volunteering their time. If the coaches have made a commitment and i9 has taken people's money, a phone call isn't unreasonable. Games were rained out for half the season (obviously not their fault) and then rescheduled three weeks later--without even asking coaches and staff if they were available. Only parents who asked were informed of the new schedule. When I tried to speak to the owner, he brushed me off, walked away and said I could talk to his wife.
