This dealership is exactly why so many people distrust car dealers. In my experience, they have been unresponsive, misleading, and unwilling to do the right thing. I've been trying for over a week to cancel the extended warranty they sold me, and they have yet to provide the necessary paperwork or offer any meaningful assistance. It's also telling that nearly every time I've been in the dealership, there has been at least one irate and frustrated customer dealing with an issue. If you're shopping for a Mazda, I would strongly recommend considering one of the reputable dealerships in the Meridian/Boise area instead. I have given these people chance and chance again to do the right thing but now, I'll file a complaint with the department of insurance. Just so everyone knows- I have sent emails to both the finance managers, the GM, the GSM and left two phone messages asking to be sent the cancellation form. All of which has been ignored. Only after leaving a bad review so they respond by again trying to make everything someone else's fault Stay away!! Update: The dealership finally reached out--and, predictably, tried to blame me for their lack of response. Once that was out of the way, the sales manager (who seems reliable) sent over the form and asked me to remove my negative reviews. I made it clear: if they honored their promise to issue my refund within two weeks, I would remove two of the three reviews. I was equally clear that the third review would stay until the GM apologized for calling me a liar. They agreed and assured me the refund would be processed within the promised timeframe. I made the mistake of trusting them. As a gesture of good faith, I went ahead and removed the two reviews. You can probably guess what happened next--nothing. Two weeks passed. Then three. This Friday marks four weeks. No refund, no update, not even a basic acknowledgment--no "sorry," no explanation, nothing. The irony here is that the GM accused me of lying when I said they had ignored my attempts to reach them. That accusation continued even after I provided copies of three emails I sent, along with the dates and names tied to three voicemails left with their finance department. So, who is being dishonest here--the customer who documented every claim, or the dealership that has failed to follow through at every step? I'll let you decide. Horrible experience not even worth the single star rating. * We traded in a Jeep with a single payment left and they did not cover it and we had to make the payment. *14 hours on the phone and on hold and still can't get anyone to make it right despite being told countless times "If you have any problems just give us a call." * It's been 3 week and we still have nothing from Mazda Finance and calling them just gets you an AI runaround with no way to speak to a human being. I purchased a 2022 Mazda three preferred hatchback. It was the blue color. After about two years I started to notice some damage on the roof. I take it to a body shop. They tell me it looks like it's been previously repaired. I told them that's crazy cause I just bought it with 5000 miles on it. they said what most likely happened is when it was on the car hauler a chain came down and smacked the roof. I was more than mad at that time, I'm still mad. I contacted team Mazda sent them pictures told them to please reply by email as I'm a driver and I cannot answer my phone while I'm driving. And what do they do, they called me, and guess what, I wasn't able to answer. I will never do business with this company again. My vehicle is still broken and the Bondo repair that they did is coming undone even more. I still owe money on this vehicle and pretty soon I won't be able to drive it because of the damage it's gonna total out the vehicle. Do not buy from this company. Sales person (Brian) we met on the lot was knowledgeable and helpful. Answered all questions but one - "would you send me the invoice showing the dealership's cost so I know where to start on the negotiations?" He referred me to Floor Manager, Gary. I asked the same question and again I got a lot of his own knowledge/info on dealers cost versus MSRP. Said they only make $1000 above dealer cost. When I said I'd like to see dealer invoice, he said sorry my friend, we don't do business that way. They went through a lot of trouble and lost a solid customer in order to protect that info. Throws up a lot of red flags, namely about transparency. Would not recommend buying a vehicle from them. They're very suspect and disingenuous, at best. They have ads on the radio station constantly advertising the high trade-in value for your car. So I finally check them out online because I'm needing to trade my car for a truck. No price was listed on the truck I wanted online. After sending an email request and two phone conversations, the young lady still couldn't give me a price. Managers "are in a meeting all day." Does this place want to sell cars or not?? When I called the third time and spoke to Forest, he gave me the price but wasn't sure it was still for sale. He would find out and call me back. That was last week. Not another call or email. I'm looking at spending upwards of $45K and SOMEONE is going to make the commission. Won't be Team Mazda. If this is your customer service BEFORE a sale, I can only imagine what would happen if I needed help AFTER the sale. Hard pass on these folks. I am really happy with my service at team mazda. I have now leased 2 mazda's from them in the last few years, and when we walked in yesterday to upgrade my CX-5 David actually remembered me and my father from 2018. That's insane service. I didn't even remember LOL. They didn't have the exact car I wanted in stock, only an upgraded version. with a little negotiation, I think everyone left happy. they were fast with the paperwork and we only had to wait about an hour of so to get everything signed and to drive off in my new ride! If you go, ask for David because he was honestly a really friendly guy and he wasn't trying to over sell us or push us into anything. I prefer a non-pushy salesman and he didn't make us uncomfortable in any way. Let him know I sent you! I have every intention of going back to team mazda when this lease is up again. there's a reason they are number one mazda dealer in the pacific northwest....clearly they know what they are doing there. Saw a Facebook Ad and heard about this dealership on the radio and TV. Advertising $5 down and 5 months before the first payment was due. Well, this is all true if you have a credit score over 700, They also don't give out the info on how much the actual car is selling for. Another red flag. I was looking at a Ford Ecosport, wanted to trade in my Mitibishi. 2 Salesman (Gary and Garrett) both said that I would need to keep my car because I was upside down on my current loan. Said they would get me into the new one, was having problems getting an answer from the banks because it was a Sunday and they would call me back the next day. Before leaving I ask how much the new car was, $25,000. Um KBB says this car was 19-21K, another red flag. Anyway never received a call the next day from neither guy. I had to call them 6 times before one of them took my call. Told me they needed at least 5K down. Which is the same thing they told me the day before if I was to trade my car in. They give you the run around, they don't follow thru, and they purposely do not publish the cost of the car so they can overcharge you. STAY AWAY! read more

Be careful, do not let them talk you into using their "last coupon" for a 100,000 mile warranty. It adds $4000 to your loan. When I said that I didn't want to have the extra $4000 plan I was told that sometimes we just need to do what we need to do to get where we want to go for now and then I can come in and cancel at any time. When I went back to cancel the additional items that added up to about $5000 I was treated with extreme disrespect by the finance person and informed by my salesman that the finance person was so upset because they get a kickback for selling them and now they were not going to make any money off my sale. I was so upset, I took my old vehicle back and after purchasing multiple vehicles from TEAM in the past, will never be back. read more

I evidently didn't make a Google review quick enough following the purchase of my car, so one of the salesman used the picture of me from my car purchase and made a fake review. I also took my car in this recent Saturday (8th) after having only bought it mid-July. The temperature gauge kept coming on, the average miles per gallon display wasnt working, and the hatch open buttonobutton the key fob wasn't working. I was told when I dropped it off that I should have made my appointment with "Shelly, that she wouldn't be in until Monday, but that they'd get it looked at and started on it. On Monday afternoon I called the service department/dealer no less than five times trying to find out what the status was, but could never get connected, or would be transferred to a non-working extension. After 5 pm I was finally called back; they hadn't looked at it yet, but should be able to tomorrow (Tuesday), but if they couldn't fix it, they'd have to send it to Treasure Valley Subaru to be looked at. Do yourself a favor when looking at Google reviews, go to the company website and look up the names of the people working there. See if there's any correlations. read more

The end of October I took my 2016 Mazda 3 that I bought from team brand new to trade it on a AWD CX5. Salesman David D. Showed me a few cars that were slightly out of my price range and then Found me a car I was interested in and the price worked out in finance. We test drove the car and he had me drive it over a little hill to show me how the AWD worked and the clearance was. We shook hands and moved on. In finance I was sold a extra warranty package that included a coverage for Awd tires if there was to be an issue with one I wouldn't have to replace all 4. After shaking hands again in finance on the 2016 AWD cx5 and driving it away I went to register the new car at the dmv and noticed that the paper work said "FWD" on it and not AWD I went and looked at the car and indeed it was NOT AWD as I was told at the dealership when I purchased it. Yes I should have tediously read over the paperwork better but it all goes so fast I didn't notice the "FWD" instead of "AWD" which is my mistake as well. I contacted the dealership and talked to my salesman David. He was not helpful whatsoever and told me that I knew it was not AWD. which is not true. I would not have bought a bigger version of my old car when I specifically asked for something AWD. I came in a few days later to talk to the dealership and I spoke with Jason who seemed very interested in helping me. He told me they don't often get used FWD cars like that in. And apologized, he said he would go track down a car I want from another dealership and we would work something out he said it would take about a week or so. This all happened the end of October. I've yet to hear anything back from either of them. I'm very disappointed that I was lied to and then just pushed aside and nothing at all was done to help me. I did not want to write this review I was hoping they would help me out because I was a return buyer. I understand accidents happen but all I wanted was them to take my car back and get me into another car that was what I thought I was buying in the first place. If you want to be well taken care of with a knowledgeable honest crew. I would not recommend this dealership. read more

Working with Hassan has been nothing but difficult. Trying to get my trade in picked up has been a terrible experience. I try and call & they direct me to him who's always "busy". And I never get a call back within a reasonable time. Now finally someone comes to pick it up 2.5 months later and they're unprofessional. Luckily I was home because they did not call ahead. They also do not knock at your residence they bang. I also got lied to when purchasing my new car that it had an oil change which never happened. My car it's self is good. My 2016 kia soul that I was leasing had the engine blow up on my way home from Caldwell to Ontario, I was only 2 months into making payments and they said since it was an "as is" vehicle that I would have to come up with 2,000 dollars of the supposedly 8,000 dollar cost of a new engine and that they can't trade me anything equivalent to the price of the kia and to trade it in I'd have to come up with 10,000 dollars. And they took two weeks from the time I got my kia towed back to the dealership that day is when they finally called me and told me what was wrong and they were not responsible for the fact that there's a safety recall on it, that the former owner of the car was responsible for getting that fixed. They gave me a loaner car but took it back after a month of having it stating it was only supposed to be for 3 days but they didn't tell me that. read more

They sold us a filthy car with the promise of detailing it and repairing a few issues for 12000 over MSRP and they are always "too busy" to fulfill their promise. They also "worked so hard" to get us a good rate, but I have fantastic credit and this was the highest interest rate I have ever paid for a car. Team mazda has completely screwed me over. Everything was great at first, they got me into a car even though I had less than stellar credit. They promised me all these extra features (wheel and tire package and some oil changes). I had the car a few months and one day got a tire with something in it so it kept losing air. I called to see if they could help and they said nope sorry on if it was something stupid, if I remember right it was if it was stabbed. So I take it to les schwab they fix it no problem, no charge they didn't even care it was not their tire. It took them less than 20 minutes. The thing that finally sent it over the edge of why I will never use this company again is the oil change they did. They do an inspection report and they noted that a few things were in the warning section but everything else was great. But then a few days later I smell an overheating smell coming from my car. I see the reservoir is well below the minimum line. It doesn't seem as though anything has changed except my oil change indicator isn't on anymore. When I call to bring this to their attention I had to call on multiple occasions to get to speak with an advisor but then they were defensive from the start. They refused to take responsibility because I might not be telling the truth they said. They need to learn customer service and integrity in your word and your work. I will never give them any business and suggest you stay away as well. read more
