I definitely wouldn't recommend booking through Nicole. She just hires people who do work for her on the side, charges extra, takes a cut, and then poorly manages the event. I hired her for my wedding and she caused so much stress along the way...She sent me texts meant for other people, sent me incorrect invoices, confirmations for wrong dates, had ME build her timelines and then changed details, and then forgot to add enough people for hair for my wedding party... then she charged me for her mistake. Turns out she was trying to manage all if the weddings she booked while vacationing for several months in Europe. I'm all for personal time- but if you can't multitask then hire an assistant to help. Especially when you are handling BIG pieces of the bride's day. I regret not firing her when the mistakes first started because there were red flags from the beginning. I should have listened to my gut. The extra star is for Austin Parent who did my hair and a few others in my wedding party. (He deserves 5 stars actually but there's no way for me to review him). He was AMAZING!!! I didn't initially leave a review but Nicole keeps spamming me asking for one... so here it is. Do not recommend... terrible experience with Nicole. Hire your favorite hair dresser and find someone who does makeup. No reason for Nicole to be in the picture and cause unnecessary stress while taking a cut if the money the people who are doing the work should get. read more

I just got married this past weekend and used Daniel and Judy's services. Things went amazingly well! I am a perfectionist when it comes to aesthetics, and those two were incredible at meeting my needs. And they were fun to boot! 5-stars for this. Majorly awesome! During a trial there were minor issues. I felt the team was a little ill prepared and rushed. Plus, my mother is in a wheelchair and I wanted her to be part of the wedding prep. I wish we were able to go to their studio to do the trial (I guess they're not wheelchair accessible), but the good thing is, Daniel and Judy were willing to meet us where we live to meet our needs. Plus we did a hair trial redo to make up for the first trial. It was tough because I don't live in San Diego, but I am happy they offered this. So that's why I gave four stars. But overall they worked with me to fix these problems and I ended up hiring the team because of that. In the end, I was very happy with this decision! (back up to five stars then...) Of all the people and vendors I worked with for my wedding, TeamNicole was the best! Nicole, Daniel and Chastity did makeup, hair and nails for me (bride), my bridemaids (6 ladies), flower girl, MOB and MOG - and they were excellent! They brought their mobile spa to our hotel where we were getting ready, so they made it super easy for all of us. If you love a beautiful, natural look, Nicole is your girl. My hubby even says now, "whatever your makeup was on our wedding day, do that again!" She was professional, arriving on the dot and got us all done in time. It helps that she's also hilarious and really personable. She's super flexible with timing, location, etc. Of all my wedding vendors, she was in communicado and I never felt like I had to chase her down for anything. Daniel did hair for all us. Some girls knew what they wanted and I thought he did a great job with their blowouts and styles. Other girls left it up to him, some leaving their hair down, others going for up dos. I think all my girls liked their styles; if they didn't, they didn't tell me! But in my opinion, I loved ALL of their hair styles and I thought each was different, natural looking and pretty for each girl's face shape. Chastity did most of our nails- manis and pedis. She was super sweet, fabulous and quick, and did a great job! There were no crooked nails or anything :-) I hands down would recommend TeamNicole for any special event! They were ahead of schedule and really we all connected well and had fun in the process! My only complaint is Cassandra. She was an extra artist to do hair and makeup for my mother as special treat. She walked in the room asking who what and when. She didn't know if she was in the right place. She didn't know who she was there for. Nicole was recommended to me by my wedding coordinator for hair and makeup for my wedding in July 2011. Nicole does the makeup and Daniel does the hair for Team Nicole. Nicole is super sweet and does an amazing job. She has been in the makeup business for years and has honed her skills. I LOVED my makeup and hair and am so happy I went with them for our wedding! She also did the makeup for my 8 bridesmaids, mother, and mother-in-law. The mothers especially looked so beautiful and youthful!! Nicole definitely knows how to make you look your best. It started with a trial where Nicole made me feel really comfortable and took the time to really understand how I wanted my make-up to look. On my wedding day, she came to my hotel room and set up chairs and all of her tools to get to work. She arrived right on time and also brought along another wonderful make-up artist. The two of them did my make-up, my moms, 3 bridesmaids and a family friend's. I loved how natural the make-up looked. I could touch my face and the make-up felt so light. After having an unsuccessful hair and make-up trial with someone else, I was so happy that my wedding coordinator recommended Team Nicole. They were amazing and awesome the whole way through! To start, I spoke and communicated with Nicole regarding just what I wanted for hair and make-up (for myself, matron of honor, 2 friends, & 2 flower girls). She was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, and organized. We arranged a hair & make-up trial at my house with Lisa (make-up) and Kristen (hair). My wedding coordinator referred me to Team Nicole for my wedding August 4th. I went for a trial in April and right away knew I had made the right choice. Nicole and Daniel were both so outgoing, friendly, and very personable. They were both open to the look I wanted for my wedding day and were not intimidating whatsoever. I used the trial for my engagement pictures and my hair and makeup look fabulous! Nicole, Daniel, and two of their assistants did hair and make-up for my 10 bridesmaids, my mother, and mother in law, as well as myself! For such a big number of people, I was worried about time...however...we were AHEAD of schedule!!! I was able to have a full two hours or so dedicated to only me and my needs, which I loved. All the girls said they had such a great time with them all, and everyone loved their hair and makeup..especially me! I feel that a bride should feel the prettiest she has EVER felt on her wedding day, and with the help of Nicole and Daniel, I experienced this.
