For years, my family and I have been harassed by strange women and men in Essex County, NJ. My conclusion: People think I am anti-Italian, which is ridiculous. My parents were/are Italian-American. My mother was lovely and a wonderful parent. Her family was like a Big Hug. Because of sick/crazed women (and men), I have been bullied and harassed with intent for years. I have been called names; women have cited my body to me in a perjorative tone. I have had to file police reports about these strange/sick women harassing me. I have gone to restaurants and other establishment where strangers have gone out of their way to talk about their Italian heritage and/or relatives near me. Great! I love Italian food and Italian culture! Please don't feel compelled to mention Italian food/culture around me to offend me. I love it all. This is what happened as I waited for my husband to pick me up after I dropped off my car. An employee also spelled my name wrong and said something to the effect of, "Of course, that makes sense." And after he got my car model wrong (a co-worker corrected him with the right car model I brought in to get serviced.) It saddens me that I felt so uncomfortable. The team seems knowledgeable and experienced. My husband has volunteered to take my car to Fix N Fuel after my most recent experience with folks.

But then we experienced the Scam. My dad & uncle are both over 70. My dad wanted to give the car to my uncle in September 2018. AAA sent Moshe's to jump start or change the AAA Battery. Moshe's had come once before in July 2018. Ashton, the guy they sent, had said it was not a battery problem but an Alternator problem. He had argued on the phone with our regular repair guy we have been going to for over 10+ years - who had just repaired the Alternator. Ashton just jumped the car in July. Basically Moshe's did not want to honor switching out the AAA Battery that was under warranty. Then Ashton told my dad he'll fix it himself. He dented my hood instead of pressing the button next to the Driver's side like a normal person. He was there very late, working on our car in the driveway. My uncle and Dad both had to go to work in the morning. But it wasn't fixed. He still charged them. Fast-forward, I go to Toyota October 31, 2018 to get the battery and alternator checked, because the car had not been fixed in September by Moshe's. So they said there would be a fee, and that the repair that was previously done -- now the Alternator was from Moshe's -- should be refunded, because they put in the wrong one. So I called AAA - since that is who we had called in the first place. AAA said the repair shop would have to handle the refund or replacement. They told ME the repair shop was Moshe's and gave me a list of the various battery calls that year. Moshe's was unresponsive on the phone. So Nov 5, 2018 we went there personally. Moshe and his wife Michelle put up a Huge Show. They both pretended that we had never called them. Michelle called someone - claiming it was AAA - awho nd Michelle claimed that we didn't show up in Moshe's computer. "Oh, I have a call from you in the computer to M&M Towing on November 1st, not to Moshe's on October 31st." We did not know that M&M Towing IS Moshe's - until I looked it up later. Then after screaming and shouting at me and my parents for an hour, Moshe called Ashton in from outside -- who admitted that he had done all the previous things I mentioned. So then they pretended that he had backstabbed them. All this drama -- when really all they had to do was replace the AAA Battery that was under warranty in the first place. So then they did not replace the Battery or Alternator, but said - it's the Fuse Box -- and tried to charge $150, and to come back later. Then I remembered that M&M Towing had charge Double the miles in July 2018 when they towed the car to get the Alternator fixed by our regular mechanic. So then we went back at 5pm when they said the car was ready. Another lady was paying for her service. Moshe pretended like he had no idea why I was there, when we had just gone through all this in the morning with his wife and him screaming and shouting, and playing games. Then I said I'm going to report him, and he suddenly threw in a free oil change. Then the next day, I took the car back to our regular mechanic, Prospect Exxon, to check it. He said that Moshe's is notorious for scamming people, and told me about the Sting Operation. I don't know why AAA keeps referring them. But stay away!

I was explaining the issue in detail so he can make a proper diagnosis while I was on the phone. He continue to ( Brush me) off as he seemed annoyed or busy. I found it quite rude because I've seen him have this attitude towards other customers while in the shop despite how I felt, I brought my vehicle in because the issue was urgent and needed immediate attention. Why trying to explain the issues to him and show him the temperature gauge via photo and video of what was going on under my hood to assist him, he continued to walk out of my face and said "yes I understand your car is overheating " loudly. So I dropped the car off on Saturday with expectations to get it on Monday, which I did, he explained to me that Monday when I called that there was air in the system and bled the system for me, he told me that there shouldn't be any other issues with overheating and that he test drove it, and there was no overheating. Free of charge he said, which was reasonable due to it was about the THRID TIME I brought it. Now I drove it that that night and the car was still overheating so I decided to call because Tuesday 11/04/2025 the issue was still persistent. Mike Junior the son was not receptive to what I was explaining to him about my vehicle. He seem very annoyed when I was explaining to him when I asked him what it could be for clarity because I didn't know if I needed to get my own parts because the issue started to become costly. He decided to be very disrespectful loud and hang the phone up in my ear. At the moment I decided to visit the shop to bring the car when I arrived I asked him when have I ever been disrespectful to you, he replied that I had never been disrespectful to him, but I was asking stupid questions and I keep calling about my vehicle. He was obviously frustrated or annoyed that he couldn't properly fix the vehicle and that I was persistent to try to get it fixed. So this was my fourth time trying to get the car fixed. I returned my vehicle to the shop because I wanted to give them the opportunity to resolve the issue, however, I was met with Mike Junior the son, with this disrespectful attitude and tone vulgarity and a persistent problem that my car was not fixed and still overheating. I feel like I paid for nothing. He was more than rude and disrespectful yelling at me and telling me that I can take my business elsewhere when all I was looking for was clarity to try to get my car fixed. I will never conduct business with them ever again. Mike Junior, the son did not conduct himself in a professional manner or like a proper businessman, this individual is not an honorable man and cannot perform under work-life stress its unfortunate. This is how he treats his customers because as he claims he reputation my experience was horrific. Please do not get your car serviced here. You will have continuous problems and you will be back shortly. HIS ATTITUDE AND BEHAVIOR AND BUSINESS WAS UNACCEPTABLE.

After getting my car repaired here, I ran into a completely new issue just days later--and I'm not alone. This has happened with multiple cars, including those of friends. It's become a pattern. If you truly want your car fixed right the first time, I recommend staying far away from this shop.
