I listened, tried to identify what was happening, and followed the chain of command at his residence. Unfortunately, nothing was resolved. I kept looking for someone who could help, and that led me to Only Care Home Health. I honestly had no idea who I needed to speak with or where to begin. When I called, Roxy answered the phone. She asked how she could help, and I explained what my brother had been going through. She listened carefully and treated my concerns as important. She was kind, caring, and ready to help. Within about five minutes, she was able to resolve the main issue that had been causing my brother so much stress. I have worked with people my entire life. As a retired family therapist and behaviorist, I have learned to recognize when someone genuinely cares. Roxy is one of those people. She has a natural warmth and compassion that cannot be taught. I am truly thankful that I reached her today. She helped my brother, but she also gave me peace of mind. Knowing that someone listened and took action meant more to me than I can fully express. I explained that I would be available around 6-6:30 PM, and he said he could not come after that. When patients already wait weeks for appointments, expecting someone to suddenly be available within a very short notice window is unacceptable. The next day was Sunday. I understood when they explained they normally do not provide service on Sundays, and I was told someone would come Monday instead. After some back and forth and several unsuccessful calls, I received a message saying someone else from the office would come because the original RN was busy. I texted them around 8 AM and waited all day without any updates. Nobody contacted me again. After following up multiple times myself, they finally called to say they had nobody available to come. I explained how serious the situation was and how scared and stressed I was because I had just gone through surgery and still had not received any visit or proper care. Instead of helping, they kept delaying and giving excuses like "give us another hour." Later they even tried blaming me, claiming I had canceled the original appointment, which was completely false. I asked for a supervisor to contact me because at that point I honestly did not know what else to do. Nobody ever called back. In the end, I had to drive myself in my post-surgery condition just to find care somewhere else. No patient recovering from surgery should be left feeling abandoned and forced into that situation. This may be acceptable in some industries, but not in healthcare where patients are recovering from surgery and depending on proper care. I truly hope neither they nor their own family members ever have to experience this kind of treatment while recovering from surgery.

Our elderly parents needed physical therapist and a registered nurses to come to our place for IV fluid and physical therapy with a licensed physical therapist and also a care taker. Livingstone is the most wonderful home health agency. All of their nurses are extremely well trained and very caring. Their skill level in medication infusion, IV fluid, wound care and complex dressing changes and explanations on medications and physical activities were better than any other professional nurses and therapists that we encountered before. Their professional demeanor was real and deeply caring. I have to admit that our elderly parents were saved many times due to these deeply caring professionals from the Livingstone Home Health Agency. If we have any questions or concerns they always answer the questions immediately. Many times we actually got a call from the president of the company.
