After poking around alittle he openned up about one of the teacher bullying him verbally. A young girl who works as a teacher at the school. The last day at the school I picked him up from aftercare holding his tears back. My son is not one to cry for anything. I was in a deep confusion when I saw him like that. I called the school after we left and had spoken in the car. I wanted to talk to Master KM himself. As I was expressing my concerns to him he laughed at me. I dont think he meant it in a bad way but was not understanding my concern for what was going on. I realized at that point my call was not going to change anything and decided with drawl my son. At first I loved it I even wanted to get my other son in the after school program Mr. KM is a great teacher they do have 2 other teachers that work well but its not worth hurting any childs self worth. I wish them the best and hope they remember they are working with children. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Master Vicente is patient but very serious about discipline. This studio is very family oriented and it's also very central to the area, very high traffic (It's right off the turnpike) for those parents that rush out of work to catch at least half hour of class, like myself. FTD is not the type of place that will promote your kid just because they did an average job. Test promotions and competitions are taken. Wet seriously! I feel most studios in Miami prey on parents and that's not the case here. I learned this at my first competition when my kids beat another kid his age with a higher belt and and had only been doing this for 10 months. Pricing is extremely reasonable and specially if you want the kids to try it out before jumping in, there are also new student promotions pushed out via Facebook as well as on Yelp, so be sure to follow them for those.

I came by Ray's Tae Kwon Do recently because I was a former student many years ago. During my moves…read morethroughout the years, I lost my black belt (1st Dan) certificate and I also did not have the black belt itself anymore. So I contacted Master Ray to see if there was a way I could get replacements for both as getting a black belt is a difficult endeavor taking a lot of effort and hard work...especially when I was 10 years old when I got it. Thankfully I found out I am able to. I got fitted for a new belt and I had to fill out a form to send to get a copy. As I was there I felt a lot of nostalgia...I spent years exercising, working, sweating, fighting at the school. I felt proud of this early accomplishment and reflected on how my time at this school gave me the discipline and courage that helped me become the man I am today. This is what this school and tae kwon do teaches and provides: That with enough dedication and self confidence you can accomplish any goal you set out to do...as long as you have the drive and dedication to earn it. I owe this school and Master Ray a lot for these early lessons. He's a great man teaching an amazing school.

Derrick is a wonderful teacher, friend and mentor to the all of the students. By leading thru example, he shows them the results of hard work and a positive attitude. Derrick is a delightful man, yet strict--a very hard combination--which he nails effortlessly. Though the teaching and guidance from Master Derrick, my son has learned discipline, respect, technique and poise. Also: The schedule is easy to work with. The prices are reasonable. The studio is well kept. The parking is easy--even though there is no parking lot, we rarely have trouble finding a parking space.
