Came for dinner and they told me it would be a while and I should get an appetizer of smoked fish and something. I said I do not like anything smoked. He said ok no smoked. Brought me smoked flavored raw fish. I didn't eat it but my husband finished it. Needless to say it's just a way for them to raise your bill as it costs more than your entree. Skip the appetizer. This place is a tourist trap!! I just came here with a friend, and the owner and the waiter were very disrespectful. I have never met such bad service in my life, as they even tried to trick us into paying for an appetizer that was more expensive than the entrees we even ordered. I heard him scam another group, giving the impression that it was free. He asked us if we wanted water, to which we responded, no, as we had ordered other drinks already. He then told us they have to sell water, and it was a requirement with the meal. They even tried telling another group that an appetizer was required! The food was ok but the portions were small for the price and the drinks were not worth the money or time. I would recommend another restaurant as you, like us, are probably here for a nice vacation, and there are so many other restaurant that are delicious! read more

If you are looking for a place to stop and have a great drink or glass of wine, keep walking past this place. After asking us to move to a different table because we weren't ordering food, we were told we had to order food to have a drink. We obliged and then waited and waited and waited for our drinks and food. Then had to wait for utensils. And then waited for the bill. Worst stop of our entire stay in Venice. read more

Elena was our wonderful server at Teamo Winebar. We enjoyed a beautiful display with the mosaic fish antipasti, delicious and unique, her help with an Italian wine choice was also very helpful. The owner herself came out to explain things and was friendly. The pasta was very good, but seeing that what the next table over had ordered made me wish I had chosen the squid ink pasta, my pasta was tasty but I think I chose a little heavy after the fish anti pasta variety, which was just fantastic in every way. We happened accidentally upon this restaurant in an ally... My experience in Venice is that this is where all the best restaurants are. The owner, Clara, helped recommended specialities and made the experience wonderful. Food was excellent. Thanks to Clara's recommendation, we tried something we never would have and loved it! We are not huge fish eaters (although they absolutely have that option!!) so Venice was a bit of a challenge but this fit the bill perfectly. read more

The meal started off so-so 10 Euros for a glass of Amarone is reasonable, but not a great pour. We tried a few other wines, Classico & Barabresco. Both just okay. The meatballs were good, cicchetti plate came with smoked salmon, bacalo (good), smoked duck (not my favorite). Unfortunately, a 3-4 star experience was marred at the end when their credit card processor "was not working." I asked if they could try it again, or check their WiFi connection (this can be the culprit) and they asked me to go to a nearby ATM. I only had a credit card so I was not about to spend 20% to withdraw cash when they clearly have signs showing they accept credit cards. After waiting 5 mins for a solution, they come back and miraculously the credit card machine is working again..... Tourists should avoid...a dishonest end to an otherwise pretty good meal. read more

This restaurant is around the corner and at the end of a street, not surrounded by other places. In a sea of touristy, halfway decent eateries in Venice, this wine bar is perfect for dinner or a snack. The food is great. Friendly and cozy, the hostess explained the menu in detail. The soups were delicious, and the meat cheese antipasto plate was huge. We liked this place so much we went back 2 days later. Would recommend this place to all Venice travelers and locals. read more

Nice little spot. It's about half the cost of most other restaurants in this area. Fast and courteous service. The food is good and they have some unique options. Not the craziest dishes but considering that every restaurant has nearly identical menus, change is very welcomed. We had a curry shrimp risotto that was solid. Down a side alley that would often be missed by the usual tourist crowd, this great little restaurant was an amazing find! Prices are reasonable (relative to Venice anyway), and the service was amazing. We ordered an Insalata Caprese (Tomato w/ Mozzarella & oil) and the lady serving us took it upon herself to teach us all about different types of mozzarella cheese. We ended up trying a smoked buffalo mozzarella with the tomatoes, which was a fantastic recommendation. This restaurant is an amazing hole in the wall here in Venice! First of all, the service was over the top and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was full when we arrived and we were a party of eight, and the waiter moved three separate tables and chairs together to make a table of eight! The service was beyond compare. The food itself was simply brilliant. We tried a myriad of pastas, meat, and fish and all of them were so good and delectable all the plates were wiped clean! The desserts were also out of this world. I highly recommend the tiramisu, crime brûlée, and chocolate mousse! We ordered all three and ate all three desserts clean in only three minutes!!! Trust me you don't like this restaurant at all, I live across the street from this restaurant so I said after all the traveling I don't want to go anywhere or any further for a restaurant, but after I ate this place it became a nightmare for me. The waiter from the beginning to the end are not happy at all, the owner a lady she is very mean at me. I asked to set a bigger table she refused me said it has been reserved. Which nobody there and here I finished my meal. The portion is very little and the food is very eek. Her attitude is very bad and her dog running between tables. (I don't think it's a very healthy and sanitation to have that dog in the restaurant running the whole time )The cooks are very slow you cannot imagine how long you will wait for your tiny dishes (The pasta only 4 inch plate. The salad is 6 inch plate. The entrée not enough feed a infant) Overall please trust me do not waste your time and your money and your repetition in this unfriendly restaurant. My husband and I stopped by for a bite to eat after walking the narrow streets for hours. We sat on their little patio. We enjoyed their Teamo salad, ravioli and lasagne.
