Me and my wife were looking for something for my son over the summer that was active and with other kids besides playing video games teamwork is a great place for kids to play games experience other games and be active with each other. I would recommend teamwork to my friends and family. The staff are friendly and great with the kids. They do not treat your kid as a number or as an item. even when my vehicle broke down in their parking lot, they gave me a ride home, which they did not have to do. They treat everybody as family and look out for each other. I highly recommend for all children. read more

My fam and I carted our butts out to a 5th birthday at Teamworks yesterday, and it was a pretty good time! The building itself is just about what you'd expect from an indoor soccer place- an old looking, corrugated metal structure. There's a couple arcade games in the lobby, and two or three smaller function rooms with bounce houses, Wiis and party tables set up. The kids had a great time bouncing, and the pizza was slightly better than what you'd get at a Chuck E Cheese. The staff was really kind, and did a good job of keeping the party moving along. The place was also pretty clean, and you can tell they enjoy their work. The room we were in had five TVs mounted to the wall with Wiis set up on them, and I'm subtracting a star because three of them weren't working at all- kind of a bummer. I pawned my baby off on some unsuspecting relatives to take a minute to play Mario Galaxy, only to have a small child grab the Wii-mote out of my hand almost instantly... I wanted to say something like "get your own game" and grab it back, but I could hardly make a case against sharing when there were only two working Wiis. Teamworks is waaaaay too far a drive for us to plan a party here, but if you live in the area and don't want to host a kid's birthday at your own house, this place is a solid choice. read more

Clean reasonably priced building for indoor sports and activities. They have an indoor Soccer field. Ive attended a few great birthday parties here. They have large and smaller party rooms with bounce houses and lots video games kids love. My daughter does dance class with Smith School located in the building. Really nice and friendly instructors, Highly recommended. read more

This is a local venue that lots of local kids have birthday parties at. There are bounce houses, basketball hoops, video games and more. They also have leagues for youth sports I believe. I went to a party for the first time in awhile , and they seem to be kind of letting the building go. Paint and everything is looking dingy and dirty. The variety of activities is nice, and the staff is helpful. I am not a fan of the fact they still have dodge ball areas because several kids end up crying every party. read more

Had our daughters birthday party here and it was fantastic! At first we were a little skeptical as you start your party off in this small area with one bouncy house (this is kind of like an extra 30 minutes to wait for everyone to show up and still keep the kids entertained) then we were brought upstairs to our party room which had another bouncy house for the kids (there was even a separate bouncy house for babies which was really cool), a dodgeball room, arcade games, wii games and air hockey. You get a party coordinator who literally helps you with everything from serving food and drinks, cutting the cake and serving it, bringing in the goody bags etc. the lady who was our coordinator was amazing she was so helpful! The price that we paid for all of this was about half of what we would have spent at chuck-e-cheese and we had a pretty big crowd (about 20 kids and 20 adults). We will definitely be coming back! read more

Not sure what "Dr. S" is talking about, Teamworks is a great place for everyone in the family! They run great youth sports classes, birthday parties, and sports leagues for all ages, and the management is as personable and reasonable as you will find anywhere. As far as fighting after games, I challenge you to go to a facility where competitive adults do not get testy with each other while trying to relive the glory days! Based on the amount of games run by Teamworks, the number of incidents is extremely small, and I have never once felt that my children or myself were in danger. The incident that "Dr. S" referred to was an incident that happened between two thugs that Teamworks had no control over, and literally could have happened anywhere! If I felt my safety was in jeopardy than I would not return, simple as that, and I take my family to Teamworks at least 2-3 times per week throughout the year. Teamworks is the ideal place to keep yourself or anyone in your family active. From ages 2+, there is a program for you. If you are unsure, their helpful office staff is happy to offer suggestions to fit your needs. Keep it up, Teamworks! read more

Since "Joseph S" review calls into question my review I feel compelled to respond. I have been to just about every indoor facility in the area during the last 20 years and my review took into consideration the experiences at those facilities. That is what I am talking about. The statement that Teamworks had no control over the "incident" is just not true. They were warned about the potential for violence and took no action to prevent it. If they truly felt it was not their fault then they would not have agreed to settle the case out of court for $325,000. Perhaps Teamworks is fine for youth programs and parties for young children. I don't doubt that but they need to do a better job addressing the problems in the adult leagues. As "Joseph S" correctly points out adults do get "testy." And when adults get "testy" it can easily lead to confrontation. This is where Teamworks needs to adopt a no tolerance policy. Start a fight, attack an opponent and you are banned - permanently. read more

We have been doing the kids birthday here for a few years now....Love it! Love the price, the activities, the staff is Great! We always add the 1/2 hour jumpie thing so that guests can be a few min. late and not miss any of the true party time. Only advice: as with any party place where teenagers work, just be a good/nice communicator. They are not parents and don't always know what you might need right at that moment. Place is a disaster..from management to the building. Have been coming to Teamworks for about 9 years and the only improvements in the building they have made are the new ceiling lights. Roof insulation is falling and black mold is present on the walls. Sports leagues are from $500-$600 per team...membership $15...where is the money going? Many people have difficulty breathing inside the place. It is clear the air is filled with asbestos. I would never recommend having a child's birthday here...the jumpy house is inflated and deflated each bday party...no signs of cleaning it. I wish this establishment would do a better job of keeping up with the building and parking lot. You will lose a lot of business soon, if you don't make improvements. read more

I disagree with Concerned P completely. Teamworks is an awesome place for the whole family. The staff is patient, compassionate and energetic. The programs are well planned and targeted appropriately to different ages. I have 2 children who have both been attending programs and leagues since the ages of 2. We have also held birthday parties there. The environment is clean and comfortable. Both of my children have allergies and one struggles with asthma. We attend teamworks at least 2 times weekly, and neither of them have had any trouble with the air quality. The management and staff are top notch. read more

My daughter was turning 7 and she really wanted a birthday party that was fun and at a location "brag" worthy. We had gone to a birthday at teamworks and I loved the setup, it was non-stop fun for the kids and good for all ages. She has a toddler brother and teen sister so I was able to bring them all and no one was pouting out of boredom (even a separate bounce house for toddlers and of course Wii video games for teens). We did the larger party package, very reasonable. The facility is clean, secure and well run. Everything in the package was taken care of and all we needed to do was bring the cake. I've been to several other Bday party places and much closer to where I live (Dartmouth) and non of the packages/facility compare to Teamworks in Somerset. Our party reps assigned to help out were both friendly and took the pressure off me because I was stressed for it to go well. The tall young man I remembered from the other party I had attended there and he was as nice then as he was for my daughter's party. The girl in the party room kept it flowing and on schedule. Again, excellent place to do a Birthday Party. One con..the parking lot is horrible! lol They should really pave it and put in better outdoor lighting. When you're leaving a party at night and juggling gifts and kids that run off while other people are leaving. Lots of lighting and smooth/even roadway would be a good idea to have. read more

I am not sure how this place stays open really! The air quality in the field hockey area is beyond disgusting. I had to actually walk out of the place because my asthma was kicking in and I was having difficulty breathing. I am not sure how this place is legal. Look up at the ceiling and you will see what I mean. There's a huge fan that blows some kind of infested air in everyone's face. You need to sit in certain areas or you will be breathing in that crap. Don't bother driving a nice car in the parking lot. It needs a redone pavement!!! They shouldn't charge all that money if they are not going to take care of the place. read more
