With about 25 singers, Lori the DJ used only the minimum necessary filler music so the rotation was as quick as it could be. You can expect to sing about 3 songs during the 4-hòur show. The club looks unimpressive from the outside, but inside it's clean, cozy and welcoming to everyone. There's a pool table, keno machines. The bar staff are attentive. Drink prices are on the low end. The restrooms are clean. They come in 3 flavors, male, female, and 2 private, large, unisex restrooms(which are also wheelchair accessible) The dance floor is set up for a great light show. I first visited in October 2023 with some friends after leaving the MIX event at the CMA (museum). Twist had a 2000's music theme that night. The 2024 labour day holiday white party was fun. I arrived at 10pm with a friend and we met 3 other friends there. We danced to a live DJ who spun tunes all night; however, I will say that some of the music choices were not the best because they were not ideal for dancing. At around 11:30pm is when the dance floor begun to be crowded. So as midnight approached, it became a bit uncomfortable to remain on the small(ish) dance floor so I moved towards the back by the bar. Although I don't drink alcohol, moving away from the dance floor towards the front door entrance by the bar was a good choice for me because I didn't feel as claustrophobic as I did when I was on the cramped dance floor.
