They sell in a minimum of 2 oz for most, unless they cost more than $5 per oz. Most are $4-ish per oz. I had a very fun time chatting with the lady about the types of tea, the flavor notes, brewing process, and more. It is so obvious that we are both tea lovers. Since I am also a tea hoarder, I chose ones that I didn't already have which can be difficult. Lol. Luckily, she suggested I try the organic Japanese Bancha which is somewhat adjacent in flavor to Kukicha, a Japanese tea using only green tea stems. The bancha is a subset of sencha. I also chose a black current tea; the aroma is captivating! Other than tea, they sell many gift items, including clothing. It is a very fun place to browse, shop, and sample a small cup of tea in their thermos.

Everything was delicious, extremely high quality and so esthetic. I loved the little details, like the spoon shaped like a little spade and a pink straw with a heart cross section. We had a very happy time at Our Place. Visiting here was like being transported to Korea. They even have croffles with flavors like brown cheese, and ube einspanners, and injeolmi bingsu! We chose to come for dessert around seven pm and the cafe was packed. The variety of cheesecakes and other desserts to choose from was an adventure in and of itself! Everything looks delicious. Even the regular einspanner was well balanced and delightful to try. We ordered the sampler to try more cheesecake and definitely found our favorite in the Biscoff cookie flavored cheesecake! Pleasant interior with natural light, mellow overhead music, various seating with 2 & 3 tops, communal seating by a fireplace, and group seating off to the side that can be reserved. It is currently decorated for the holidays, but also featured work from local artists. First visit & first meal of the day coming up on 1pm, I opted for a grande mocha and a 4 inch proscuitto sandwich. The overhead menu and display cases have a nice variety. Pastries are from Macrina and coffee roasts are from Caffe Umbria. Their espresso beverages are very generous. The grande mocha was served in a huge mug, reminiscent of a souffle ramekin. Well crafted too. I enjoyed the 4 inch proscuitto sandwich. Perfectly sized and sliced, not too big, not too small, Goldilocks just right. Served warm with proscuitto, melty cheese, pesto spread, spinach, and basil in a soft, square roll. Most of the folks onsite are having active convos or business type meetups, only two on laptops. And one doing a Yelp post, lol. After being onsite for 2.5 hours on a weekday early afternoon, seems to be an older demographic that visits here. Clean, comfortable, and welcoming. I was initially hesitant on visiting since based on their menu, they seem like a first wave type of boba shop that mainly uses powders and syrups. After seeing that they have $3 drinks during Happy Hour from 2-4 PM on weekdays, however, I decided to give them a chance. Royal Milk Tea, 50% Sweet, 50% Ice ($3) - The milk tea has decent black tea flavor, albeit a bit generic, the sweetness at half is right on the dot for a typical half sweetened drink, and half ice isn't too much. The drink is on the powdery side, which leaves a kind of residue that coats the mouth after each sip. I'm wondering if they use perhaps powdered tea in their drinks? Still, there aren't any offensive tastes in the drink, which made it better than expected. The boba is surprisingly good. The pearls are smooth spheres and exhibit both very good chew and bounce, but don't seem to be soaked that much in syrup. They are perhaps a bit firmer than perfect, but are pleasant to chew on. The amount of boba they serve in a cup isn't enough for the entire drink - with about a quarter of the drink left, the boba was all gone. While the drink has some issues, the value for $3 really can't be beat. I think this is the cheapest boba I've gotten in the US ever. Milk Tea Rating: 3/5 Boba Rating: 4.5/5 I walked into Oasis Tea Zone with apprehension, but came out very pleasantly surprised. I would stop by again, happy hour or otherwise, whenever I visit downtown Edmonds. Note: Oasis Tea Zone charges a 3% fee for credit cards Edit: I visited again, ordering the same drink. This time, the drink seems to be more heavily leaning towards the creamer, leaving the taste of the tea in the dust. In addition, there's a bit of a strange coffee-ish taste and the boba is much more firm than previous. This is more of a 3* drink rather than 4*.
