I've been to several other Oasis locations, and was a regular at a different location for many years. I love this business and think the owner is lovely. Usually Oasis is my favourite place to grab a Bubble Tea. However, my first (and only) experience at this Edmonds location was definitely lacking. My drink tasted weak, but was extremely chunky. Yuck. I've never experienced this before, but something was definitely off. On a positive note, Oasis was bustling with people who looked to be having a nice time. The games in the shop are a nice touch.

We like Oasis and we're happy to have one so close in Edmonds. Their online ordering system (run by Toast) is convenient, reliable, and fast. Only street parking is available but currently, it is pretty easy to find parking in Edmonds downtown (it's getting busier every year so we will see if this situation changes in a few years). Staff are friendly and during my first visit, when I was confused about different percentage of sugar, they offered to let me try various strengths before I could make my choice. They have always been friendly and courteous. Inside, they have a number of board games and puzzles to play with your companions while enjoying their drink offerings. In Edmonds, this is a wonderful stop for our family when we like to stroll through our cute downtown. I also want to add that this is one of the few places that actually carry popping boba, which we love.

A fun friday stop while walking about Edmonds, of course, walking by, they had me at boba! Lol A busy Friday afternoon, I think the school district was on spring break... or a bunch of kids were playing hooky? Anyway, a great selection of different tea flavors and additions. Local art adorned the walls, which was a theme throughout Edmonds. Although they were busy, orders came out quickly. I ordered the ginger jasmine tea with boba, tasty, with a good ginger bite. Very refreshing on a sunny afternoon stroll. Cheers!

This Oasis is in a rustic-styled building. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. No music was playing inside. The menu offers plenty of options for teas and toppings. They have different categories for teas too. I ordered a strawberry milk tea with tapioca and a ginger milk tea with tapioca and received them in ~5 minutes. There weren't any orders ahead of me. The tea isn't too sweet and the tapioca pearls are soft and chewy. It didn't taste like the boba was sweetened (I prefer this but my wife doesn't). 4.5 outta 5

This is my first Oasis shop and I like the variety they have. It's located in a beautiful part of downtown Edmonds and it's a very nice place to sit outside. The inside seating is also not half bad, with some board games and a pacman table. To my knowledge, there's no option to adjust ice and sugar level, or I wasn't asked. I do feel that it's a very typical kind of boba shop and I'm not 100% sure if real fruit is being used because all I really taste is sugar. I'm not sure if I would come back, but if you want boba, it is here.

Cute little spot to grab bubble tea in downtown edmonds. Oasis is always consistent; take it from someone who worked at their Chinatown location ten years ago. The owner was very adamant on training workers to measure the ingredients accurately. I'm glad to see this is still the case! ESP as they expand in so many different cities. The staff at this location were so sweet! Can't wait to stop by again :)

This is a nice location in Edmonds. It's in the heart of downtown and can attract all the foot traffic from people visiting the area for shopping and a lot of the events that take place there. I really like Oasis tea because they give you an option for milk tea, snow, or smoothies. I love the options for flavors and toppings. Also I love their tapioca. It is chewy, but it is softer than others. The space is a little small and because this is a busy area for Edmonds, it can get filled up with people and a line fast.

Stopping in for a bday boba!

We love Oasis, Cap Hill, UW and the ID are all great locations, this new location is a great addition to downtown edmonds. At this location they serve bubble tea and plain powdered sugar puff waffles, at some other locations they have more options, but this one does sell some packaged snacks and trinkets as well. They're also looking for local artists and may have some new art up in the near future. My sister for example has some of her art up already! Lol This visit was for my bday - if you sign up online, you'll get a whole free bubble tea on your special day! Worth a visit I'd say!

Fortunately, there was no traffic so it was a 20 min drive easily. However, a lot seemed to have changed from about a year ago? We got popcorn chicken which was $9 for a very tiny plate (like the medium size sampler food container you get at food tasting events) which is a joke of a portion, and the chicken was not even good quality - heavy on the batter. Compared to pictures a year ago, where the portions looked much much larger. They are so stingy on the amount of chicken, that I thought they were giving us a sample to try before they make a real batch lmaooooo. I tried the Kocochi milk tea with creme brulee, boba, jelly, etc. Sounds good on paper, inflation I get it, was expecting $7 but it was $8, plus tax, so it is actually not that competitive of a price anymore now that I think about it. I could get a very good quality boba drink for $7.50+tax elsewhere without all the fancy toppings, but with boba included. I was pretty disappointed with the quality. The boba is so overcooked that it is mushy, and the creme brulee was not thick enough that I have to use a spoon to even be able to get any of it out (instead of being able to drink it from the other side which is what it is supposed to be). I'd avoid this place unless this is a one off but I will need to be redeemed a better experience before recommending this place. There are better options in the area

Each crumpet topping or combination demonstrates care and good cultural taste. I had the savory pesto, ricotta, and tomato...it was adroitly put together on a plate. I wolfed it down at the outdoor seating patio with my fingers. An off-the-street enclave of restaurants, pubs, and ice-cream shops is a nice setting -- albeit a bit too concrete and too hot in summer. I will be returning to this open-kitchen, informal, tea and crumpets shop for more of their menu...

Street parking only, but if you're open to a walk, downtown Edmonds tends to have ample parking around the area. When busy, they do provide a buzzer that has a short range, but opens up the opportunity of walking around slightly. Items can be a bit pricey, but they're also very filling. Large space, lots of chatter, and friendly service. Number Three Combo Club - we wanted waffles this time but also bacon and sausage. This was the variety pack we desired, though wish it came with both sausage and bacon! Opted for the bacon and it was thick, fatty, and delicious. One waffle cut into the four quadrants, ready to soak up syrup. Simple, but a classic. Chunky Monkey Pancakes - goofy perhaps, but another timeless classic combo of chocolate and bananas. Three chocolate chip pancakes, fluffy and ready to absorb the Nutella drizzle. Could have a few more chocolate chips embedded for a more balanced spread, but the chocolate drizzle helps spread flavor. Bananas for the healthy balance of course.

Hot Dogs in Cars, and Managers Named "Robert" : A Hate Story…read more I have been a regular patron of The Rusty Pelican since I moved to Washington, just shy of 5 years ago. I take visiting loved ones and friends here, and I constantly extol the service and food to anyone who needs a recommendation for a breakfast spot in Edmonds. NEVER. EVER. AGAIN. The manager, Robert, showed sickening behavior. My partner and I were having breakfast out in front, when we noticed that a fellow patron had left their dog in the car on the sidewalk in front of our table. It was 60 degrees out, and completely sunny. The windows were barely cracked, and the dog was panting and straining its neck towards the venting of the window. We called our waiter over, who was incredibly sympathetic and horrified. He went inside to find the customer. We waited a few minutes longer, and then asked a second server to follow up (they were equally horrified and sympathetic). The second server also did not return. My partner went inside to seek help. It was at this point that they encountered Robert. My partner came out a few minutes later and explained what was happening: he had been in the process of denigrating the employees feelings about the matter, telling them to stop bothering customers and (essentially) quit acting like babies. "This isn't Arizona!" he exclaimed. When my partner asked to speak with him and tell him the situation, he was horrendously rude and confrontational, escalating each polite rebuttal with an agitating escalation of rudeness and denigration. My partner calmly explained that in these conditions, a car's interior temperature can rise to above 80 degrees in well under 30 minutes, not including stifling humidity. These conditions can cause an animal to pass out and die within a similar timeframe. At this point, it had been well over 30 minutes since the patron had parked. During all of this, he refused to even address my partner or look them in the eyes. It was absolutely unacceptable, and ultimately embarrassing for a grown man in a PAID CUSTOMER SERVICE ORIENTED POSITION to treat anyone like that. To be clear: the entire staff were incredible. They came out to check on the dog a few times, and tried their best to confront the owner of the dog, but a certain manager was preventing them. They also apologized profusely, and showed a grace that is exemplary and frequently unseen in today's world. We learned several good lessons today: 1. We should have just called animal control right off the bat. The owner isn't going to learn their lesson without legal intervention, or lethal endings. Thankfully they left after about 40 minutes, and the dog seemed to be conscious. 2. I am never going to eat here again, as long as Robert is employed. He should be left in a hot car out front to teach him some perspective. I wouldn't call animal control for him though. 3. I am going to spend the rest of my days around Edmonds telling anyone who will listen this story. To Robert, if you read this: I hope nothing but bad things happen to you forever, and your behavior is inexcusable. You do not deserve to be employed. To anyone above Robert in a position of management or ownership: fire him. Quickly, and unceremoniously. Do it in front of the kind employees, as a treat. They had a familiar air of exasperation with Robert's behavior, telling me this is normal. And under no circumstances should it ever be. Shame on you Robert.

I'm here to review the food, which is great and unlike other menus in the neighborhood. Here, you will find "bar food" elevated so high it could hold its own among fine dining. My mom and shared a few plates: the Vinbero club, the spring pea risotto, and the kale Caesar salad. Everything was delicious. The club is packed with thinly sliced chicken breast, crunchy bacon, and fresh tomatoes, greens, and avocado. The contrast between the bite from the aioli on the inside of the sandwich and the sweet tartness of the balsamic drizzle on the outside was fun and unexpected. The kale caesar was very fresh with a great dressing. But for me the star was hands down the pea risotto. Perfectly creamy, vibrant green, and packed with fresh spring flavor. It appears they change up their risotto offering every so often, and it's gone now, but I will dream of that one until it appears again. Our server (maybe the owner?) thoughtfully split our sandwich onto two plates (hence why the photo only shows one half) and added the side of popcorn to both plates. A nice touch. The inside is a little small and dark though well-appointed. Their mini patio outside is crowded and uncomfortable. But they're doing their best with what the space they have. This Drumlin update is essentially transitional, jumping from Nov 2022 to Feb 2025 to July 2025…read more(7/20/25). I enjoy stopping by Shoreline's Ridgecrest neighborhood, because of the Crest theater, Ridgecrest Books, Cafe Aroma, and Drumlin. Drumlin is the sister restaurant to the adjacent Ridgecrest Pub which often hosts a wide variety of food trucks. I like how Ridgecrest overall has created a pleasant sense of community. Drumlin first came onto my radar screen because I heard about an Escoffier trained pastry chef working there from another Yelp Elite. I tried a few times to stop by, but the popular baked goods were always sold out. But I did end up having a tasty lunch which I wrote up in my previous review from 11/13/22. This pastry chef has since then moved on. Drumlin then returned onto my radar screen because I heard of about a revamp of their beverage and culinary program. I was able to spontaneously stop by, snag a two top and really enjoyed my first 2025 visit back on February 19th. I savored my spinach salad, casio e pepe risotto, and Running Up That Hill cocktail. It was a bit spendy since I had just started a new job. However, I appreciated the quality and its location close to home. It was nice to see positive write ups in Seattle Magazine and The Stranger, giving positive props to this Shoreline destination. Then I heard that Drumlin went into full cafe mode with daily business hours 7am to 1pm. Menu focuses on beverages, baked goods, and breakfast sandwiches/wraps for the time being. Interesting pivot, but not fully using their awesome multi-purpose space. They have outdoor seating, a full bar, a stage, many two tops against a banquette, street parking, and a dedicated private parking lot. Oh well, I'm sure there is a story behind that and why dinner service has been suspended. Anyways, subsequent visits happened all within a week on July 12th, 13th, and 20th. The first two visits were around 11 am, today's visit was at 745 am. The visits were all onsite for one hour, 90 minutes, and five hours, respectively. Absolutely chill vibe being onsite. Often the challenge visiting indie cafes, there's never enough seating, too crowded, the sea of laptops, ad naseum. I enjoy seeing solos, pairs, groups, and families stopping in whether to stay awhile or as takeout. I've enjoyed collectively to date: 3 - 16oz iced mochas, 1 chocolate chip cookie, one peach gingerbread cake slice, and two Morning Glory muffins. Today's muffin was especially awesome, still warm from the oven, love the overall moist crumb, and especially the pepitas for texture. This going to be a hard situation because I enjoy Cafe Aroma located diagonal from Drumlin, but I definitely favor the fresh onsite scratch pastries here. There's also some featured baked goods from Kaffeeklatch, located in Seattle's Lake City neighborhood. I've contributed two posts and 40 photos over five visits. Hopefully this provided a comprehensive view of my experience at Drumlin. I've been a Shoreline resident for over 23 years, I'm always rooting for hometown businesses to succeed as they evolve, remain vibrant, and viable.
