This was quite fun. We had a reservation for high-tea and were immediately greeted and seated. There were lots of little knick-knacks and plenty to look at where we were sitting. It was pretty immersive with all of the dolls and the China cabinet full of tea sets. The server was very nice and helpful. I believe there are two servers that run the floor and it seemed to run quite smoothly. The food was delicious! I really enjoyed pretty much everything that was prepared and brought to the table. What a wonderful place. Easy to see they Love what they do. What a deliciously enchanting tea experience superlative to all other tea experiences that have come before, and there have been many. You see, I really don't like going for tea or well, it's more the spending a lot of good money on tea and ridiculous fingerling sandwiches and stale confectionary bits and such. I just don't ...but when you get a prescription for happiness, you fill it. And so, as it were, I've been to enough tea places to drown myself a few times over in tea and well, I'm often unhappy with the value. Lots of places like to cheat. So, I digress, of all the teas I've been to in all the years, I place this tea among the highest. Second visit was no where near as good as our first. Service was lack luster, almost non-existent. When I made the reservation, we specified that there were 3 vegetarians, and asked for veggie sandwiches instead of tuna/chicken/ egg (we did this at our first visit and it was no problem at all) unfortunately they put all chicken, tuna, egg and no veggie sandwiches as promised. The tea was extremely watered down maybe?, not as much flavor as the first time we visited. The eclairs and creampuffs were so soggy you could not pick them up without them just completely falling apart into a pile of mush. In a few short months this establishment has really gone down hill. An absolute treat. I came here for lunch with my big sister and had a delightful time. It is very adorable here... with everything you could possibly want for tea time. Nestled in a beautiful house. The atmosphere, food and service is top notch. Our server Emily was an absolute pleasure. She really knew the menu and suggested very good teas. All staff were very friendly as well. It is very peaceful here for soft music. We were enjoying the tea so much we went a little crazy and shared multiple pots. Some tea we tried was banana nut bread, vanilla macaron, chai and and coconut. I love that we each had our own unique china teapot. They have the sugar and cream on the table ready to use as well. I loved the tea but I was really impressed by the food. I chose the tea time combo and my sister chose the quiche combo. For mine I got the Chickan Salad Croissant and you can choose a soup or salad to pair. I asked for half and half. I loved the potato leak soup and raspberry dressing for the salad. It also comes with seasonal fruit which was delicious and fresh. The food looks beautiful and taste even better. My sisters spinach, mushroom quiche was marvelous. I will get that next time. She got hers with half salad and half broccoli cheddar soup. Everything was simply phenomenal. Of course we had to get some pastries. They have a lovely assortment. They are not overly sweet and have delicate flavors. They all pair well with the tea. Pricing is fair here. Their menu is quite simple with daily specials. If you want to do the high tea you will need to make a reservation but walk-ins are welcome otherwise. They have plenty of seating and accommodate large groups. I love how adorable this place is, the decorations are so cute and perfect for teatime. This place is adorable! They moved into this building back in November, and it is the perfect space for it. There are tables decorated with teapots and teacups throughout. Tables indoors and outdoors, and it is very quaint and cozy. They have an area where you can purchase additional bakery items like scones, muffins, cookies, and cakes. My friend and I came for the Sunday brunch high tea. With tax, it was about $25 per person. For the two of us, the high tea came with a choice of one of over a dozen black, white, green and herbal teas; 4 ham, egg and cheese croissant sandwiches, 2 mini quiches, 2 scones I believe one was like a butterscotch and one a chocolate, two mini cinnamon rolls, two mini muffins, some fruit, two little lemon cakes, butter, jam and a little apple swirled dessert. It was so cute and fun to do. The only thing that would make it better is a few more savory options, so it wasn't so dessert-heavy. I know they have a regular menu, but I don't know what that entails, but maybe some small cucumber sandwiches would be nice, something to break up all the sweetness from the muffins, scones and cake. Would definitely come again, but I would love to try one of the other lunch options. Also note they only accept cash tips, they can't take them on a credit card. read more

Found ourselves in the area and I'm a fan of history and architecture. The outside is impressive to say the least! It certainly beckons a visit -so we wandered inside. It was between lunch and dinner so it was pretty quiet but very charming. We were seated in the front parlor and promptly served tea. I have a dairy allergy so not much on the menu for me but a salad. Salad was great however and Raspberry vinaigrette was delicious. Hubby had a croissant sandwich. It really looked pretty yummy! Service was prompt and pleasant. The decor was a little cluttered but certainly in keeping with the Victorian era decor. Overall, it's sweet and charming. I would love to bring my lady friends here for a charming luncheon. I only wish they had more options for my dairy allergy. read more

I recently had the pleasure of having high tea here. It was amazing. Upon entering the atmosphere is wonderful. It was like walking into a library for afternoon tea. There are tea sets everywhere, along with books, and unique furnishing.  We were greeted by the owner and sat quickly. I loved everything about the feel of the room. I felt like a kid on Christmas morning.  Once seated we choose our tea. There were many choices from black tea to green tea to fruit-flavored. You can even get good ole southern sweet tea.  Once tea arrives in our individual teapots we were brought our food. On the 3 tier serving tray, we receive multiple flavors of tea sandwiches, I plate of fresh-baked scones with jam and clotted cream, and on the top tier delicious desserts.  Everything was so good and fresh. The service was amazing and the whole feel was wonderful.  Overall one of the best ta rooms I have ever visited.  Side note: If you want to have high tea you have to book a reservation in advance. However, if you just want to have lunch or breakfast with a pot of tea you can just walk in. The food here is amazing. If you like disgustingly dirty establishments you will love this place. I came at my grandmas request and used the bathroom upon arriving, which looked like it hadn't been cleaned since the houses building back in the 1910's. My sister came for a visit and we decided to go try out Teatime Tranquility and Treasures . We decided to do a high tea so made reservations 24 hours in advance. First, let me just say one of an adorable setting as you first walk in the door! We were greeted & seated immediately by Julia. There was such a beautiful selection of teas and we were both thrilled with what we ordered! Our selection of sandwiches, chicken salad, vegetarian and tuna salad on croissants were delicious! So was the delicious cucumbers, sandwiches! The scones were so delicious with the clotted cream and jam! The tea rose was the star!! It was so beautiful, and tasted fantastic! We had chocolate petite fours that were very yummy as well as exquisite lemon lavender ones! The cream puffs were just luscious as well! Louis, the owner was so attentive and so fun to talk to! Called on a Monday the owner told me to call back tomorrow they were closed and don't take reservations on Mondays. Finally received a reservations on Tuesday.....wish we wouldn't have went after all of that. The food, service, and decor was amazing!! They had the whole English teatime vibe in there. Very cool. The owner and a waitress got me and my friend's orders and the food and tea were out in about 5-10mins. I really enjoyed my tea which was not at all bitter like most teas I've had before. It paired perfectly with the pastry I got (the hummingbird cake)! The broccoli cheddar soup was really good as well!! Prices are low and reservations are not required (unless you want to do a high tea, then you need to call a day in advance)...this is a HUGE plus for a tea room; to just be able to go in anytime and get tea, pastries, or breakfast and lunch. We stopped in after some shopping down the street and had such a great time. There are plenty of tables. Large sturdy tables with sturdy chairs. Noting like you feel you're going to break or be uncomfortable in. There are fun hats on the backs of each chair should you desire to be "fancy" or just take some fun pictures. The tea is great and there is a large selection to choose from. For about $8 you can get a pot of tea with 4 servings. You can also order by the cup. The teapots are adorable! There is also a large selection of delicious tea cakes, scones, brownies, cakes, and more. We had the brownie (so good!) and the best ever lemon tea cakes. In addition to tea and cakes, they also offer quiche, breakfast items, soups, and even a tea time combo - tea, soup, and croissant with your choice of salad, and fruit for $8.95! If you can't stay for tea, come for breakfast or lunch. The prices are the best in Alachua/High Springs and the food is also the best in the area...everything is fresh and delicious. I read about this quaint antiquities and tea, and decided it was a must visit on a recent trip to Florida. It had an amazing selection of teas. The pastries and quiche delightful. When served the small pots of tea, the menu indicates "cup of tea" with price, with no indication that the small pot is considered two cups. Unsure how you would order a cup as you automatically are served the small pot. Since I planned on trying several varieties, this was an unexpected surprise when paying the bill. read more

Absolutely adorable space and a great place to stop by for lunch or a snack. They have a high tea menu with pastries, scones, sandwiches, and clotted cream, but this requires at least a day's notice. Since we didn't know this beforehand, we each had one of the snack sets, which includes soup or salad and a sandwich or quiche. Everything is made fresh and was absolutely delicious.
