Their cheapest suits start at $350, yet the thin "vegan wool" fabric and cheap, shiny buttons create a look that feels juvenile and unprofessional. I've seen better tailoring from aunties in Chinatown; at least they pretend to negotiate the price. No discounts were offered at Valencia Suits and Tux, and the overall quality doesn't justify the cost. I've purchased far better suits in the past, but I was short on time and settled. Avoid at all costs!

When I went to pick up my suit, I received spectacular service from a gentleman named Robert. He made a couple of adjustments on my suit and picked out a nice outfit for the rehearsal dinner for me. I didn't ask him too, but his job is to sell clothes and he did just that. He picked out something nice and from the clearance section for a bonus!! How could I say no? Great customer service is very hard to find these days and Robert hit it out of the park!! He is truly a rockstar at his job. I had a slight button problem on the rehearsal pants that I purchased. They immediately took care of the problem and I picked up the pants a day later. I would highly recommend this location and if Robert helps you, you'll be in great hands.

I thought I was coming in for a consultation, and I liked the fabrics and patterns we came up with, but he was disappointed that I was not ready to throw down $4,000 for the custom suit that day. (He convinced me that anything cheaper in his shop wasn't worth my time.) I can see why he likes to close the deal the day of. The more I thought about it, the less comfortable I felt throwing down than much for this suit... I had a few other reasons, too. Anyway, I sent a message to the store the next day, politely explaining why that I appreciated Jerry's time, but the shop wasn't for me. Jerry ended up calling me, and I wish I hadn't answered. He started trying to get me to get his cheaper stuff that had already talked me out of. He was pushy, dismissive of my reasons and all around unpleasant. I think they have some off the-rack suits available, too, and I believe they offer tailoring, but I am no longer interested. He'll probably respond to this and be dismissive again, but those are my two cents. He has a nice assistant. I won't pretend it's bad quality. Still three stars.

Includes the socks, tie, and the whole suit. Customer service was fantastic, they are very helpful on finding the right size and let you try on different sizes to make sure it fits you. The lead time for a tailor is about 3 weeks, that's the only down-side... so it is best if you plan ahead of time before your actual wedding date. Located in downtown Santa Ana so there is street parking, but there is a small lot behind the building with only 5-6 spots.

He eyeballed the size and nailed it pretty much on the first try! I never felt like I was bothering him with our nitpicky requests or preferences--he actually seemed excited that we were willing to express them, so he could be confident we'd be happy with the end result. So quick, so painless, and not at the cost of quality or for an absurd price. At no point did I feel like he was upselling or trying to push us towards more expensive options, or misrepresenting the costs. Lonny was working alone on the day and didn't have any heavy duty tires in stock, but was thoughtful enough to strip a tire from a used bicycle in store free of charge. All I paid was labor.
