I have an upcoming wedding and came in with zero expectations because it's my first time buying a suit. I ended up paying around $345 for a suit that will be tailored to my size. Includes the socks, tie, and the whole suit. Customer service was fantastic, they are very helpful on finding the right size and let you try on different sizes to make sure it fits you. The lead time for a tailor is about 3 weeks, that's the only down-side... so it is best if you plan ahead of time before your actual wedding date. Located in downtown Santa Ana so there is street parking, but there is a small lot behind the building with only 5-6 spots. read more

Came in today to look for a few pieces of clothing for myself, my dad and my brother for a wedding coming up and the employees were very unprofessional. At least we were greeted when we walked in and the woman who worked there asked what we were looking for in particular. I asked for a purple shirt or anything purple and she brought out a lavender shirt stating that's all they had. I said we were going to look around. I looked around and found another dark purple shirt that's I liked. So much for product knowledge huh? All the employees stayed at the front register talking for about 30 minutes and didn't come to check in on us, up until 5 mins later of browsing Another salesperson came to check on us but by the point they left a bad impression. We had the freedom to look around and also get some advice from the stylists. We preferred a short jacket/vest but regular size pants and they accommodated the mix and match. We found a great suit but we weren't sure so they held it for us for a week. We came back and bought the suit. We were super happy with the fitting and they hemmed our pants right away so we were able to leave with finished goods in 10 minutes. They also gave us a complementary tie! There wasn't a lot of selection, I had 4 options for black suits, but one of them was perfect for my needs. The pants needed lots of altering, but the tailor took care of it in 30min. After wearing the same gray suit for what seems like seven years, I decided it was time to buy a new one. My mom had an upcoming formal birthday event, so I used that as my excuse. On my cousin's recommendation, I went with The Suit Co. I didn't do any research--mainly because I was lazy and figured his good experience was enough to go on. The building is just off a main street, and I parked in the rear. Inside, the space is large--rows and rows of suits in a warehouse. I was spotted and assisted right after stepping in. The staff helped size me up, and I picked out a light navy suit. After trying it on, they measured and even threw in a free tie, button-up shirt, and a pair of socks. Can't complain. Later that week, I returned and tried on the tailored suit in their dressing room. It fit like a glove. At the birthday event, I got a few compliments. My father-in-law, who doesn't speak a word of English, gave me a big smile and said, "Wow, yeah!" One of my cousins told me, "Looking good." The family photos turned out great. The suit was tailored perfectly to my build--the shoulders, sleeves, and pant legs all landed just right. It even gave me the illusion of height, and believe me, I'll take all the help I can get there. Yeah... it's like that. Wow! We absolutely LOVED our experience at The Suit Co. I will recommend this to all of our friends and family that need a suit or tux for a formal event. We walked in, and were immediately greeted. My husband went over what he was looking for and the associate led us to tuxes that were his size. I had seen on Yelp there was an offer for tuxes that were half off. I asked about that, and he led us to another section which had many options as well. We ended up picking one of those because it was a great deal and got my husband amazing. They do in house alterations at a great price. My husband just needed the pants hemmed a little. They gave us a date to come back and pick it up. They had what we needed! My man needed a suit for a wedding that we were going to. We came here the week before the wedding- a little last minute, I know lol My man suggested we go to Suit Co, and I immediately jumped on Yelp to check the reviews. With all the good reviews, we had to stop in and see what they had. We were looking for something pretty basic, black suit with red tie. We found exactly that. We also grabbed a white dress shirt to go with it. The pants fit a little weird and my man got those tailored to fit his calves better. He looked great in the suit!! We were not able to find a matching tie, despite the huge selection of ties. They had a couple that we looked at, but they clashed. We really wanted to match my lipstick red dress but didn't find a color even close. Sad day. But we got most of the outfit for my partner here. So overall, this was a win. :) P.S. it is hot inside, I don't know if they have air conditioning. Do what you will with that information lol read more

My husband came here looking for suit for his work 1920's themed Xmas party. Don't let the outside fool you. From the street it doesn't seem like a big store until you walk in and get your breath taken away as to how big the store is and all their variety of suits they have to offer. My husband called and made an appointment for a fitting. Appointments are not required, but recommended so they can expect you and be available to help you when you arrive. Edgar was extremely helpful as my husband was very indecisive and not sure what he wanted. After about 4-5 days, my husband's suit was ready to be picked up. I didn't go with my husband for the first fitting but I did go with him to pick up his suit. The suit looks fabulous!!! It's tailored in a way where it's not completely straight. There's a shape or figure to it which is really nice!!! When we went to the party, he was getting compliments left and right! I'd definitely recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!! *on a side note, this place makes ALL their inside shirts (collared button down ones) all in-house! So awesome!!! read more

Easy to see why this place has 5 Stars! Lots of selection of suits and suit color at a pretty good price. Suit and pants set start off at $100, and the higher quality ones go up in price. I got a Tuxedo with pants for $150. Also, they do tailoring and if you need an adjustment (If you gained a few pounds a few weeks before your event), they will make the adjustment no extra charge. Tailoring ranges from $10-20 for each adjustment. So a tapering pants adjustment will be $10, tailoring the suit will be $20. So depending on what you need done the price will vary on adjustments. Tailoring should take about a week. Came in with a big group (Groomsmen party) and Eddie hooked us up! He knew our sizes when he saw us. Our sets came with a dress shirt, socks, and tie. Eddie is super helpful and provides excellent customer service! Even when he is swamped and there are like 10 customers in the store he'll make his way to you to help you! read more

I came in for a black suit after reading through the reviews on Yelp. Edgar helped me and walked me through sizing, the different suit materials, and helped me find a suit that fit my frame and budget. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and I didn't feel like he was pressuring me one way or another. I ended up with a nice 100% wool suit that needed some alterations that were affordable and done quickly (one week turnaround time), as well as a white dress shirt with some alterations done to it as well. My suit purchase came with some free accessories: tie, belt, and socks. Later when I told Edgar that I was thinking about a black bowtie he threw that in for me also, which was a nice gesture. When I came in to try on my suit, some minor adjustments had to be made and they were quickly done and the suit fit perfectly afterwards. I ended up buying another two dress shirts and he retroactively applied the three dress shirt deal. Overall, The Suit Co. is a great place to get a suit for different occasions at an affordable price with great service. I will definitely be coming back here in the future. read more

Horrible service! My friends got a couple suits from this place so I thought I would try it out. The only person working did not greet me. I asked him if he worked there, he said he did. I asked him, I did not know because he did not greet me and I walked right in front of him. His response "I am helping someone else." I told him, the person is in the dressing room and you still could have greeted me I walked right in front of you; he also looked right at me. I waited. came here in search of a last minute suit for my boyfriend. their customer service was amazing! they have an enormous selection, and i would say their size range is pretty good as my bf is a pretty small skinny guy lol but in less than an hour we were able to find him a perfect fitting suit, and they were able to tailor his pants for him before we left. they also threw in a free shirt and tie! which is super nice. everything was pretty affordable for how last minute we were. we'll definitely be back here and will be recommending this store to everyone we know! read more

I was initially hesitant to come in, as I had never gone suit shopping before. Our plan was simply to browse. However, George was incredibly helpful and made us feel comfortable throughout the process. Thanks to his outstanding customer service, we ended up purchasing both a tuxedo and a gray suit. Unfortunately, our experience during the pickup was not as positive. The service from the employee assisting us at that time did not meet our expectations--especially considering the amount of business we have provided. Additionally, we did not receive a shirt with the second suit, which I believed was included based on the promotional signage. The window advertisement indicated that with the purchase of a suit, a shirt and tie would be included, and that a second suit would be half off. That promotion was one of the main reasons I decided to proceed with the second suit. We were also told that we would not receive a garment bag for the suits unless we purchased one for $10, even though we had initially been given a complimentary red bag for the tuxedo. At that time, we left the bag behind so they could use it to match the measurements for the gray suit. However, when we returned to pick everything up, we were not given the red bag. It appeared that it had been reused for other customers, which was disappointing considering it was originally provided to us. Given the amount spent--over $300--I was disappointed by this detail, especially when I expected a higher level of quality and service. While George truly went above and beyond, and is the reason this review is a 3.5 out of 5, I am hesitant to return or recommend the store based on the overall experience. However, if this situation is made right, I would be open to returning and continuing to bring business to your store. read more

If your looking to alter a suit or pants, this is the place! The staff is experienced and helpful. The tailor is a master at giving you exactly what you want. Not only do they do beautuful work but the turn around time is 2 days. My husband took in a silk suit he had previously altered by two other tailors but the shoulders and jacket never fit him correctly. The Suit Co. tailor was able to fix the jacket and pants within two days! The tailor and seamstress and staff are so good! I had a pair of pants fitted here and they are now PERFECT! Also, their prices are extremely reasonable! They have an amazing selection of suits too. We plan on returning to buy another suit and have it fitted by them. Thank you Suit Co! read more

My fiancé informed the staff that he wanted a certain length. When we came in today 11/14/24 10:10am he tried it on and it didn't fit how he wanted it to. So he told the nice man that works in the front to fix the size to make it bigger. He took it to the man in the back to fix it. Few minutes later he brings it back and my fiancé wants the legs bottom smaller. He then took it back to the man and the man in the back complains in Spanish. LADIES, DO NOT GO HERE!! I came here today around 5 pm to get a bridesmaid dress hemmed. The tailor "Dario" helped me and told me he would call if he finished it early. He called me from his # and I was told to pick up my dress from his home?? His reason was that he took it with him to finish the job and he would hand it to me then. I told him "sure, what is your address? I'll go with my father to pick it up". He says there is no need, he is just going to hand it to me. He then says that we can meet tomorrow (5/11) at Norms to hand me the dress. I then tell him that I actually want to try on my dress at the shop. He says sure, but you can come pick it up at the shop on Tuesday (5/14) @ 1 pm. ****I was going along with his conversation to get more out of him because it was all very, very suspicious and I was obviously not going to go to his house or meet up outside of the business!!!**** The shop closed at 8 so my father and I went to the shop to see if he was there and he was. He looked at me when I arrived and didn't make eye contact after that. I told the cashier everything that happened and he said it was really suspicious and he will make a note of it. I told him I wanted to speak to whoever was in charge. The employee said the boss wasn't going to be there until the shop closed but he will call me. I still haven't heard back. I am extremely disappointed with this business and it's a shame that I will no longer be going here as this business is near my home and a convenient location for me. read more

The location is kind of tricky because there is limited street parking in the front of the store and I parked about a block away because I was not certain on the location, but ultimately was able to find the store and had a pleasant experience! I was helped by Dario and Carlos, and they did not rush or make me feel uncomfortable in any way. I had a chance to try on plenty of sizes to see what jacket fit best, and also had some measurements for the pants to be tailored to fit well. I can't say how the dress shirts or accessories (ties and socks) may look, but the suit definitely was a great deal for under $300 and included a matching vest. Considering that most suit rentals may be around $150, I felt that buying a suit here and using it for at least two occasions would make it worthwhile. I did have to return to do more pant alterations but the alterations are relatively affordable ($10-$15 depending on service) and I certainly recommend anyone looking for a suit to give this spot a go. read more
