Good lawn guys are hard to find and we found 'em! Before, our yard was once again an overgrown mess due to people not showing up or leaving in the middle of a job. I came home one day to a 'free estimate' card from tech 1 on my front porch. Alain and his crew did a good job trimming my neighbors trees so after I received estimates from 2 other companies and they were competitive they proceeded working on a Royal Poinciana and oak. Both are large tall mature trees overhanging my delicate tile roof. They completed the work on time and on budget. read more

This company certainly has good reviews, so maybe this is a fluke. But our experience with them has been more of a 'non-experience'. We don't actually know what it's like to work with them because they 'ghosted' us after giving us a quote for the work. We need a tree removed so we used the Yelp message feature to reach out to Tree Removal companies in the area. We provided our location and 3 photos of the tree. Alain, who I guess is the owner of Tech 1, responded asking if we'd be using bulk pick up. We said yes. He responded with a quote (and even a "reduced" quote) and then, poof, he vanished. We've sent him two messages and left a voice mail saying we were happy with his quote and when can he start. No response. Nada. I really don't get it. Anyway, we waited to write this review because we thought, maybe they're on vacation, or there is some other extenuating circumstance; but it's been 10 days now... read more

Tech 1 Landscaping was there at the drop of a hat when I need last minute landscaping. I had been out of town for weeks and my yard was a MESS! August in Miami is hot and rainy and my quaint yard became a serious jungle. I had a last minute meeting at my home and I could not let anyone see my yard in such condition. I called 4 other landscaping services and I was literally hung up on three of the four times and the other business wasn't even a working number. I was so happy I turned to YELP and found Tech 1. I was connected to Alain who was very helpful and friendly. He quoted me a fair price and was able to fit my request into his busy schedule. Withing 2 hours of calling, the job was done! Alain and his crew were great! I had some very tall coconut palms nearly 40 feet wedged between two houses. No room to get large equipment. Alain crew removed 6 enormous trees, removed roots and debris and left our property immaculate. They were on time, courteous and accommodating. They did more than expected. Really good guys! I live in NYC and own a home in Miami and after Irma, we had some large branches that had fallen and needed to be cleaned up. Given the amount of cleanup needed in the area in general, I waited days to hear back from some other landscapers with no luck. We are horrified by the treatment of Alain Toubes & Tech 1 Landscaping. He is a fraudulent Contractor & we are planning legal action against him & his company. We hired them for a general yard clean up. We had 3 full days of work, & he promised us a crew of 7-8 men. The first day he showed up late with only 2 extra men, & only worked for 5 hours. During the second day of work, he continued to say, " We didn't discuss that (which we had) -- that will be extra". At the end of the second day, he demanded full payment ($5,000) for the project "to pay his workers", & guaranteed he could be trusted. Then he disappeared for 5 days -- didn't answer phone or text messages. Meanwhile, my husband & I had taken off 2 days of work to work with his crew. Finally, he showed up today, again with only 1 other worker, with a full day of work remaining. Walked the property with my husband-- we soon realized his truck was gone. His response when he finally answered my husband's calls, "I quit". We will see him in court. New name of his company -- EZ Yards. You have been warned. read more

I had a great experience with Tech 1 Landscaping today. I needed some exterior work done on a project house and the guys I hired couldn't work because of the tall grass and weeds all over the property. I called Tech 1 and they were there within about an hour. I couldn't stay for the landscaping to be completed but Tech 1's great Yelp reviews made me feel comfortable paying for the work in advance. I ran back to my office to finish my day and Tech 1 sent me a bunch of pictures of the completed job. Tech 1 did great work on very short notice and the pricing was reasonable.
