Their price was in the middle of the two other companies we narrowed it down too but we decided to do Eco Movers due to our initial reaction of getting quotes and questions answered. They were very responsive and I could tell they were not trying to hit you over the head with hidden fees or additional costs like some of the other companies. Everything they quoted was a set price with no fluctuations. We booked everything a few months in advance to be proactive but Leury and his team made sure to check in with us before moving day. He came by and did a walk through of our 3 bed/2 story home to make sure he and his team had what they needed. The only thing I wasn't expecting was to pay for the blankets used for wrapping, but I take responsibility for that as Leury was not aware that our belongings would be staying in storage, and did not want to remove the blankets so our stuff wouldn't be damaged. I appreciated the thoughtfulness and had no issues paying the extra for that. The guys that arrived to pack our stuff were so nice. We had about 3 guys show up and they did their thing. They made sure to point out any of our furniture that had previous dings or cracks and took pictures for reference. They were super quick and efficient and wrapped our fragile and heavy furniture. We did the packing ourselves and only hired them to move so we appreciated them wrapping things as part of their service. After they were done we were given an estimated time of arrival for our items and as always, they stayed in communication with us along the way. They gave us daily updates of where our load was on the journey. We had someone else be there for when our load arrived and they let us know everything went smoothly! I love how thorough the whole Eco Movers team was. I always felt like my things were safe and taken care of. We also had 2 Jeeps that needed transporting and Leury and his team recommended us to their partner Mark who was equally honest and reliable. They also quoted us fixed quotes without any hidden fees, and stayed in constant communication with us. We met our driver (Enrique) across the street from our neighborhood to drop off our cars. I would note that they need space to unload some cars to put yours on, so meeting them in a more feasible location may be a thing. Thankfully we had a big lot across from our neighborhood so we just walked back after our cars were dropped off. The company used was Onway Logistics. I appreciated them providing a tracking link so you can track your cars along the way. They arrived a day before schedule and we also had someone pick the cars up for us and everything went smoothly. Overall we paid about $11.5k for the whole move. The cars were $1850 a piece and the household move came in around $7800. Again, we had quotes higher and lower than Eco Movers but felt more comfortable paying a bit more for quality service. We highly recommend Eco Movers if it's in your budget, and will keep recommending them to anyone who asks! Huge shout out to Elsa for staying in constant communication with us and being such a pleasure to work with on Leury's team. And a huge shout out to our handy movers Hunter, Jonathan, and Lee for loading our things and having fun while doing it! And Enrique for getting our vehicles there safely! I needed help with some very special chairs that meant a great deal to me as they had been my…read morefather's. When he retired, my husband and I had just bought a house here in Las Vegas. He asked if we would like anything from his office. He had been an insurance salesman for 50 years and had a beautiful office. I had actually worked for my dad. It was considered my 'first job' as I was only 14 years old and after school I went in and answered phones, took messages, did filing. Since we had plenty of room, we agreed to his offer and took the entire office suite. With that came the two leather wing back chairs that, overtime in their new home needed repair. We arranged the furniture in a room we designed as the 'office'. It was always a pleasure to see the furniture everyday and work at the computer on top the desk that he used for nearly 50 years. Over the years, my cats decided the leather chairs would help keep their claws sharpened so before anyone noticed, the backs of both chairs became a real mess. We separated the chairs and covered them with old quilts, tucking them away in the corners in rooms not used very often and mostly kept closed up. I finally decided it was time to drag them out of hiding and assess the damage. I had gone through some changes in our cat family and had these new ones trained up good with scratching posts. I started looking for that special skilled tradesman that could do the chairs justice. I researched the cost of the type of chair, a leather wingback chair, and I weighed replacement verses repair and decided I wanted to keep the chairs as close to their original look. I had done some research and knew that most quotes for re upholstery was right around $1000-2000, plus additional cost of materials. Looking at real leather was just too much when costed out. So a sit down with thousands of swatches was necessary. I was really grateful at how many choices that could be made. I knew I wanted to keep it as close to leather so I chose a burgundy wine color in a faux leather. The shop was really busy so I was told it could take a couple of weeks before they could get me on the roaster and they had to order the fabric and if not available it could delay starting the job. I was in no hurry so I told them to move ahead. I signed the contract and handed them a down payment. Before I left the shop a call was made to the shop that offered the faux leather and they had the amount needed so they ordered it and gave me the good news before I left. I had asked that I be kept up to date with progress by sending me pictures. Overall the work went smoothly and the results made me very happy. It was the pictures I had seen on Yelp that had convinced me to use Legacy Upholstery in the first place. There is a lot of pin and tucked sofas, chairs and restaurants booths that had used the same technique and design. Their work was impressive and I am very pleased with the out come. They offered pick up and delivery service which helped me a lot, the work was great, and the cost was in my budget. I recommend Legacy Upholstery!

Got my kitchen painted and it was the WORST home improvement experience I've EVER had!!!…read more The crew showed up without coverings for their shoes and didn't even have all the proper equipment for the job (I had to loan them a step ladder). They completely rushed through painting my kitchen and missed TONS of spots. So much so that I had to point out the different places they missed 5 DIFFERENT TIMES and they still didn't get everything right before leaving. I shouldn't have to play foreman to a "professional" painting crew. They didn't remove any outlet covers or blinds in order to do a thorough job, poorly taped off different areas of the kitchen and then didn't remove all the tape after they "finished," and even spilled on my carpet because there was no floor covering put down. I ended up spending over 2 hours repainting the kitchen myself the next day because the work was done so poorly. To top everything off, I overheard one of the workers cursing HATE SPEECH against people of alternate lifestyles in Spanish multiple times while they were there. When I had to talk to the supervisor on the phone (3 separate times), she first tried to gaslight me into believing her crew was doing the job correctly. I then had to explain to her the truth of the entire situation because her workers were telling her lies in Spanish saying they did everything correctly. She did offer an apology and a discount to use her company on a "future" project (not the current one), but I would NEVER use them again or recommend them to ANYONE. Plus, they ONLY take Zelle (or cash) which was VERY inconvenient. This company had great reviews which is why I went with them initially for the job. However, I have NO IDEA how they received the glowing reviews because I could not have been more disappointed with how everything went down. I would NOT recommend using Mr. E Does it All for ANYTHING when it comes to your home. My kitchen was blue before they "painted" it, but these few pics don't even do the AWFUL job they did, justice.

Sharon has been amazing with communication--she's kind, accommodating, and always keeps me in the loop, which I really appreciate since I'm managing a rental property remotely. Neil is incredibly knowledgeable and experienced, and it shows in the quality of the work. What really sets them apart is their responsiveness--they even came out on a weekend to help my tenant with an emergency. That kind of dedication is hard to find.
