We had Over the Top Mounts out to mount our 75 inch flat screen tv above our mantle wall - we'd put this off for several years as we have a nook cutout and we weren't really sure what our options were besides completely reconstructing the whole wall and were quoted outrageous prices for that type of project. When I talked to this company, they provided several options to offer a refreshed mounted look with a low cost. I ordered an extra extendable mount and they came in and did the rest. They were prompt, respectful, and communicative and ensured the finished outcome was what we had in mind. I'd be happy to hire this company again! read more

I needed a 55" television mounted to the wall with wiring concealed, and Over the Top Mounting got it done seamlessly. Cesar and crew were able to get to work right away. One of the things I really admired was that they had shoe covers on--definitely a big plus for me. I wanted a happy medium between being able to see the television from the couch and also from the kitchen while doing dishes or prepping meals. They listened, adjusted accordingly, and delivered exactly what I was hoping for. They were probably at my apartment for one hour tops. Before they left, Cesar even let me know about some of Over the Top's other services like home theater installation and other home craft services. They stated their understanding of the job and gave a reasonable estimate. Unfortunately the AI didn't actually get the job description down 100%, so I contacted them to send an adjusted estimate. The furniture (a desk with two drawers and (2) low-boy dressers with three drawers each) was put together quickly. There was a team of three men and they worked together so well that they all finished approximately at the same time. They cleaned up their areas so all waste products were packed together and placed in my garage to await bulk pickup the next week! If you have ever put together furniture with drawers before you know there are a million little pieces. Could I have done the job myself? Probably when I was 10 or 15 years ago! But would I if I knew how quickly, efficiently and cleanly Over the Top Mounts could do it for me? Nope! I HIGHLY recommend them to all and hope to avail myself to their television installation service once I have figured out where the new tv will go! Great guys! read more

Cesar called me like 2 minutes after I posted needing some help. He came out with Oz and helped us mount 2 TV's and hooked everything in up in a matter of 2 hours. Everything was nicely done and they went above and beyond and helped us feed cords into my TV downstairs which I did myself and helped hide the cords. I honestly didn't even know he was going to do that but they did and we are so grateful for the help. If you want top notch service these are the guys that can get the job done the way you want. I initially wanted 4 tvs mounted on the wall but just went with the living room tv so I could get bigger tvs for my kids before putting them on the wall. We Mount tv said they would do some research and get back to me tomorrow 08/27/2025. I never got a call from them, this should have been a red flag off the bat but I gave them a chance and people do forget or get busy it happens. Unfortunately the TV I purchased wouldn't be delivered until 08/29/2025 so therefore I couldn't give We Mount TV a time to perform the service (My fault). I called them back and let them know about the situation and we agree to instead have the TV mounted on 08/30/2025 at 09:00 AM. I called We Mount TV on 08/29/2025 at 1:40pm to confirm our appointment for 08/30/2025 they said everything was good to go and the appointment was confirmed. On 08/30/2025 I got a text message from We Mount TV at 09:09 stating the tech was sick and they were going to move some stuff around so they can get someone out to mount the tv that day but at a later time. I replied with OK do you know what time? I never got a response, I still gave them a chance and thought Mayne they are busy just trying to finish some jobs and would get back to me. I decided to give them until Tuesday 09/02/2025 to get back to me since it was the Labor Day weekend, still giving them a chance to redeem themselves and use the Labor Day weekend as an excuse for the reason they dropped the ball. I am writing this review on 09/06/2025 at 8:17PM and I still have not heard from WE Mount TV. Not an apology no nothing, simply left on read and ghosted. I was unable to get Prestige TV to commit to a time or a location. I ended up spending as much time as it would take for me to mount the television myself, trying to get Prestige TV to simply agree to a time and a location. Prestige TV told me that they would do the work between 5pm and 7pm on 5/30/2026. I told Prestige TV to contact me via phone and I would provide my address. Prestige TV never contacted me at all. Not on the app, not on my phone. They stated "Hi! We can be there sometime between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM tomorrow " and then I spent the next day attempting to confirm a time and a location. If they respond to this review, they will likely state that I asked them to confirm via phone, not the app. That is true, and I specifically did that over concerns about cybersecurity. A way that you can protect yourself as a consumer is to get the vendor to contact you via phone. By doing this, you insure that the person you're talking with online is a representative of the company that will be coming to your home. I think it's important to practice OPSEC when inviting Prestige TV into your home to do work. Trust is crucial. It's Saturday May 26th and it looks like I am mounting my own television, because Prestige TV failed to meet their commitments.

DO NOT USE!!! This by far is the worst experience I've ever had with any contractor. I want to be very honest with facts. It all started with the person showing up 1 hour late. Only one person showed up and granted he was a big and strong, but 1 person cannot lift and install 75" TV's without banging and bumping it as they are trying to mount on the wall. Granted most scratches are in the back of the TV, but do I really need to have my new TV sets scratched because they don't have two people to lift on each side and install. Then there were non-stop phone calls. The owner (his brother-in-law) called him over 25 times during his time here. At least every 5 minutes the first hour (if not more). The entire time I can hear him yelling and giving him a lecture and asking when he's going to be at the next job. Then calling and accusing him of stealing. This is all going on yelling and arguing in front of me. I'm doing him a favor and trying to help and I have to stop and listen to this? How can he finish when his phone is non-stop ringing. I finally told him not to pick up and please do not argue anymore and just finish. In regards to the TV's 3 out of 4 TV sets are still not straight. He used a small leveler (maybe 6 inch leveler instead of a longer once, which would be more precise. So consequently he kept on re-drilling holes, but never got it right. Last but not least is always how you finish a job. When you cut through walls you have drywall pieces, dust, particle and insulation pulled out from the wall. I had to ask him to clean and he still left piles of insulation and drywall on the floor in one of the rooms. He came with no vacuum, no broom or anything to clean. We pay good money to have a job done professionally and I can tell you that this is not the experience any homeowner should endure. Do yourself a favor and pick another installer. read more
