Hey Austin -- Big thanks for the masterclass in irony. You confidently opened with, "I don't waste people's time" -- and then proceeded to waste mine like it was on clearance. We scheduled on May 9th for you to come out Monday, May 12th. You called day of to bump it to Tuesday, May 13th -- fine, things happen. I agreed. Tuesday rolls around... and so did tumbleweeds. No call. No show. Not even a "running late" text. But wait, you did finally call -- after your no-show -- and decided to give me a fresh new estimate over the phone. Higher than what you texted earlier, by the way. Bonus points for inconsistency! Then came the part I didn't expect: you actually recommended I go buy a tool kit on Amazon so you could use it for your job. You even promised to text me the link. I agreed (still holding onto hope), and guess what? It's been 2 weeks and still no text. Maybe it's coming by carrier pigeon? At this point, I get it -- my business just wasn't that serious to you. But next time, you might want to skip the "I'm a professional" speech if the plan is to ghost, upsell, and crowdsource your tool bag. No hard feelings -- just one star and a permanent spot on my "never again" list. Oh shoot wait -- did I mention you had me shopping for your tools like I was your assistant? Have had Mounting Vegas come out to my place several times. My TV proved quite difficult to put up as the mount was blocking an outlet. Every time they came out they were not only professional but very polite and helpful with the situation. Just needed them to come out to help me get a TV off the wall and the strings got tangled. 1. Cliff came for an estimate. A great guy and stated no issues to center TV mount on wall. 2. Team came out on install day and mounted TV off center using mount that came with TV (not mount recommended by Cliff). They told me it was nothing else that could be done to correct. 3. I googled and found out almost all after market TV mounts have lateral movement. 4. I contact Mounting Vegas asking to redo mount with the original after market mount Cliff recommended. No reply back. I even offered to pay for whole new install. No reply. Please see pic. 6. I called another local company who came out next day and mounted the TV center with room to move the TV in either direction as needed. 7. I did not want to leave this review but, the non reply when I requested a remount (I was willing to pay for even though they used the wrong mount) just isn't cool. Follow Up: I spoke with Austin who apologized as well as Cliff. I greatly appreciate the prompt response and resolution. read more
