Got my kitchen painted and it was the WORST home improvement experience I've EVER had!!! The crew showed up without coverings for their shoes and didn't even have all the proper equipment for the job (I had to loan them a step ladder). They completely rushed through painting my kitchen and missed TONS of spots. So much so that I had to point out the different places they missed 5 DIFFERENT TIMES and they still didn't get everything right before leaving. I shouldn't have to play foreman to a "professional" painting crew. They didn't remove any outlet covers or blinds in order to do a thorough job, poorly taped off different areas of the kitchen and then didn't remove all the tape after they "finished," and even spilled on my carpet because there was no floor covering put down. I ended up spending over 2 hours repainting the kitchen myself the next day because the work was done so poorly. To top everything off, I overheard one of the workers cursing HATE SPEECH against people of alternate lifestyles in Spanish multiple times while they were there. When I had to talk to the supervisor on the phone (3 separate times), she first tried to gaslight me into believing her crew was doing the job correctly. I then had to explain to her the truth of the entire situation because her workers were telling her lies in Spanish saying they did everything correctly. She did offer an apology and a discount to use her company on a "future" project (not the current one), but I would NEVER use them again or recommend them to ANYONE. Plus, they ONLY take Zelle (or cash) which was VERY inconvenient. This company had great reviews which is why I went with them initially for the job. However, I have NO IDEA how they received the glowing reviews because I could not have been more disappointed with how everything went down. I would NOT recommend using Mr. E Does it All for ANYTHING when it comes to your home. My kitchen was blue before they "painted" it, but these few pics don't even do the AWFUL job they did, justice. read more

I wanted to replace my old over the range microwave that only had a recirculation function instead of exhausting cooking odors to the outside. This is a project I could have undertaken myself but definitely would have taken me 2-3 days and unnoticeable drywall repair is not a skill I possess, so I wanted to check to see if I could get priced out of going it alone. A quick search for handyman companies resulted in me finding Mr. E. After agreeing to the estimated price my appointment was scheduled for Saturday 11/8. Rueben and Flor arrived around 8:45 and got started right away by looking over my project and taking measurements to cut into my ceiling. 2 access points were made so the ductwork for my new hood could be installed. Rueben then cut a hole outside for the exhaust vent cap and then installed all the ductwork and hood. Rueben and Flor are very hard workers and did a great job and minimalized the dust and debris by putting up plastic. I would definitely use Mr. E. again for future projects. If you have a potentially complex project make sure to request someone comes out first who will be working on the project to look over everything so your estimate is as accurate as possible. read more

They helped diagnose and repair a leak coming from the second-floor shower, and over two days handled everything efficiently and professionally. The work included repairing the shower drain, replacing faucets, accessing the drain through the garage ceiling, and then fixing and repainting the drywall - all done cleanly and with great attention to detail. But, I also needed the door, a doggie door AND a porch light so my pup and I could see during the night... I've been wanting to redo the front yard for years. I planned to start with concrete walkways on the side of the house because the HOA gets a little zealous with their weed notices when it's 100+ degrees out. I called a guy a few years back who gave me a ridiculous price quote for standard concrete and seemed irritated about the wait for HOA approval. I called a few more people for quotes and they never showed, and eventually resorted to fake plants from Temu in the front yard to keep the HOA off my back. Flash forward to now - I found Mr. E Does It All. My initial contact with Marianne was to have a gas stove delivered and installed at my parents. Then the cabinet and microwave. Then new toilets in every bathroom. Then solid core doors. ** They also repaired my sprinkler system, repositioned the lines, and installed a new smart timer (I unplugged the old one over a decade ago). I text Marianne and asked about the yard, told her my ideas, and sent her a drawing. I asked if they could do it and she said, "Of course!" I got approval from the HOA and they were at my house a couple days later framing for the concrete. All the old rocks were removed. Concrete walkways and L curb were stamped and sealed. Top soil was put down for the entire front yard - previously it was just dirt and rocks. The kind that compacts over time. I couldn't even anchor Christmas decorations in the ground. Plant/flower bed got a layer of mulch over the top soil and then white rocks. Main yard area got weed barrier over the top soil and then beach pebbles. The area with white rocks on the walkway is the sprinkler and gas meter. It got soil and then rocks in case any repairs need done it's easily accessible. Then the driveway was power washed, coated with epoxy paint, and sealed. Also, while this work was being done I noticed the mesh on my backyard gate (for my dog) was ripped and bent. I asked Marianne if they can repair it and she came with her husband (Mr. E himself) and changed out the mesh and painted the screw heads black so everything was at HOA standards. People stop when they drive/walk by and comment on how nice everything looks. I even overheard a group of neighborhood kids comment on how nice the house looks! Thank you guys so much!! You literally brought my plan on paper to life!! Honestly, if you need something done and are on the fence about who to contact, you can stop here. Their business model just makes sense. They're a legitimate one stop shop. I'm a middle aged, single mom, that's a home owner. There's things I can do and there's things I can't. There's things I don't have time to do. There's things I don't want to do. I'm so relieved I don't have to search for different people to do different jobs anymore. I send a text message to Marianne, I get a quote, and it gets done.
