First off I'm a bit older so finding a shop who is good enough to handle my tech and me is always great. I was sold a Samsung S23 Ultra from the verizon store a few months back and since it's all glass inevitably it will break. Fast forward to a few days ago, the phone slipped out of my hands and hit the pavement and cracked the big front screen and was flashing white lines at me. I looked up where to get a phone fixed and the young lad answered and told me they could have it done same day. I got into my car and left my phone with them within 2 hours the phone was fixed and looked like new. The newer models cost a bit to fix but is well worth supporting local business. Since it was so easy I'll be back for any other phone repairs or electronics. A+

I cannot begin to describe how disappointed I am after doing business with Digital Repair Surgeons…read more I have never had to try so hard to get straight answers out of a business. We had to get a screen replaced on my partner's laptop and for 3 MONTHS, this "business" told us *every week* that it would be done by week's end. They often would say they were "waiting on a part to be in", then say "the part is in and it will be done by the end of the week". Then, the next week another problem would appear "the mouse pad is malfunctioning" (not a problem that was present when we brought the computer in) and "the part was on the way" to fix it. Each time we had to call every week for 12 weeks because Jacob and Miranda never communicated to us first. We had finally had enough and said we were picking up the laptop done or not. Jacob said we would have to make an appointment to pick up the laptop- which costs 5 dollars for a 5 minute appointment to pick up the laptop I paid 325$ for them to replace the screen on that they kept for 3 months. When my partner arrives to pick it up- they said they just needed a "few minutes" to finish it up. The 5 minute pick up lasted 25 minutes as they were gluing the computer back together right in front of her. They then tell her not to open it because " the glue was drying". She inquired why they weren't checking it's functionality with her there like they had said we would at our initial drop off. They then assured her she could bring it back if something was wrong. She returned home and after giving the glue time to dry- they gave us- shit you not- the laptop without the charging port in the computer. For 3 months my partner was not able to use her computer for work, and we get... a laptop that you can't turn on. Sounds like something on the list of basics that a computer needs but maybe we should have waited another year for them to be finished? Who's to say? So, after calling to see if they *forgot* the charging port and receiving no response despite my partner and I calling 6 times on different days, I ended up fixing the computer myself. Luckily, this is a teachable moment and we can leave this review to warn others. Don't bother looking at the positive reviews. I thought I could trust them too but the likelihood of you having a positive experience is not worth the exhaustion of tracking these folks down to get your electronics back. Save yourself from the unprofessionalism of Jacob and Miranda and take your business to someone who cares enough to communicate with you. And gives you back all the pieces you gave them. I'm attaching two pictures so they can compare what's missing, like they do in Highlights magazine for kids.

I suggested that it was probably a connector and just needed a wire soldered in. They apparently were offended that a mere mortal would suggest anything and they ghosted me. Left with no alternative, I ordered a micro soldering gun from amazon and wired in a plug to be able to charge the unit. Its been working like a charm, now almost 5 months of regular use without issues. Its one thing to be arrogant, its one thing to be stupid. but to be arrogant and stupid?
