A few weeks ago my phone started acting up and shutting off at random times through out the day. Greg and his team were friendly and speedy with the replacement of my front glass panel on my iPhone 4S. The phone was repaired, as promised, within an hour. I was tempted to save money at the cell phone accessories hodgepodge store on 5th and Los Angeles but I opted for Sprint Street Mac. I often travel to LA from the Bay Area and I managed to break BOTH of my Iphones- 4 and 3GS over the weekend. One I hadn't been able to back up so I begged and pleaded that my phone be fixed without restoring it to original settings. Had a great experience replacing my MacBook Pro 15" hard drive. Spring Street was fast, easy to deal with, and they were very honest. I left an Apple System CD for my computer in my drive and they took it out and placed in an clear CD envelope to make sure it was not scratched and gave it back to me. Very happy to have my MacBook working again! Guys at Spring Street Mac found the problem quickly and I was able to pick up my computer the next day. Easily could have told me I needed a new hard drive and I would have believed them, instead they just replaced my SATA cable and saved me a few hundred dollars. Hardly a hiccup... I personally do all my upgrades to my computers, but in this unusual case i decided to take my "mac mini" in for a memory upgrade due to conflicts with memory purchased through Amazon (Bad RAM) although it was 1/2 the price on amazon I decided to have SSMac do the install since it was free and I wouldn't have to wait another week for the replacement RAM. Plus they run it and make sure it works.... I guessed for the extra $$ it was worth it, and indeed they delivered. The mac runs flawlessly... 2gigs to 8gigs BIG DIFFERENCE!!! Only tiny tiny little issue is when I picked it up and they put it in a bag for me the associate sorta banged it on the table, innocent mistake. I figured if it got messed up they would take full responsibility anyway, he acknowledged he banged it plus it wasn't a big deal "as long as it works if not you'll fix it right" like I said... LOL!!! Anyways 5 stars fast service and close to home. WAY CHEAPER THAN GOING TO APPLE STORE!!! read more

I bought a 2013 computer here last week. After visiting the Apple Store right after, I decided to take it back to purchase a brand new one. They said we don't do returns here. The best we can do is give you store credit. What store does not do returns? I was really disappointed and now I'm stuck with the old computer. Great location , great service, great staff. Had my screen on a I phone 4 replaced. It was quick and painless. Had the same phone lost and Simone returned it to this store. That in its self is amazing. I was out of the country for a while but the staff tracked Me down. Just picked up the phone in great condition. While I was there got a chance to check out a great assortment of new things . I must say, if your not into huge mall crowds, over priced parking and non stop crowds, this place is perfect. One on one service from people who know what the hell they are talking about. I'm a fan . I just want to say if your in downtown and have the chance, stop by and check it out. Look, we all say how much we are done with Apple. But let's get real, I NEED MY MAC. And yes, getting an appointment at the Apple Store means waiting for a week, getting to the store, waiting another week, paying $500 minimum, waiting another week to get your computer back, selling your soul to the gods of Macintosh hell, etc. Etc. But I get it, it's a big business, capitalism, what can you do? But I was already having a really bad day, I didn't want to deal with the hassle, so I took a chance with this place. I walked in, left my computer, was ready to wait at least 2 days and be several hundred dollars short. AND THEN. A MIRACLE. Mere 2 hours later, I get a call. My computer is working. The skies cleared, birds sang, my acne was gone and I come to take my Mac, pay about $150 total, and went back to work. Thank you guys. Pretty lame. Not happy with this place's vibe or service. Paid $80 a month ago to have my phone fixed, a month later the adhesive was coming off, they hassled me about applying more, now a week later same issue. Unresolved and lame treatment by some of the staff. Some were cool but some were for sure lame. read more

My DELETE button on my laptop committed suicide. The cover cracked in half so a very very minor repair. My computer is still under Applecare but who wants to drive just for a button replacement? So I hit up the MAC repair store next to my building. 1-star off because the guy who answered the phone when I called had that condescending "I'm talking to a dumb girl who doesn't understand technology" attitude. He sighed deeply and asked if I even had a MAC computer when I explained the problem. BUT they were super nice when I got there and Greg fixed the button in minutes for free. I already had a replacement phone but all i wanted to do was get my pictures and videos from my travels to Europe, NyC and etc. I was stressing the fact that this is all i needed nothing else. The power cord/adapter on my mid-2011 MacBook Air died so I purchased a cheap after market version on Amazon. It worked but I could tell something wasn't right so after a little over a week of using it, it stopped powering my MacBook. I thought it had fried my computer because my laptop died too. I use my laptop for work so I really needed it to work. I didn't have time to make an appointment then wait at an Apple Store so I googled Apple in downtown LA (where I live) and to my surprise this store was right in the heart of downtown! I went in and Greg answered all my questions and gave me recommendations. He checked my laptop and fortunately (!) it was not fried, just needed a new power adapter which the store had both original Apple version and an after market (more reasonably priced-I'm frugal) version. Took my phone with a cracked screen and back panel off to Spring Street Mac for it to be repaired. I got it back an hour later and went to happy hour and the back fell off during my meal. I RAN back to get there before the closed at 7pm and they said well when you brought it in it didn't have any screws so we didn't put any back on. I said - I brought it to you to fix it, not to return it to me broken. The guy said fine, so he put one screw in it, not two - which is what it takes to make it truly fixed.
