This is such an honest company! I went to get my oil changed and the technicians told me I needed to get two rock chips fixed, and they could do it and bill me right there. I told them no then came to Techna glass and found out the rock chips had already been repaired! Techna glass didn't charge me anything for checking even though they could've taken advantage of me. A few weeks before this I had a car window vandalized and needed a replacement. I called Techna glass and another place, Techna glass was about 100$ less expensive, fit me in the same day, and got it done in 2 hours!! Techna Glass has earned my loyalty! read more

They quoted me a time to replace my windshield and had it out at that time on the dot. The waiting room is large, comfortable and clean with coffee or bottled water available. Technaglass will also repair any rock chips in the windshield they installed for free. It's good to call ahead for an appointment. The Draper store couldn't for me in for four days while the Taylorsville store was able to service my car that afternoon. It appears they get more busy in the afternoon. read more

I've had a growing crack in my windshield for the past 3 years and felt it was time to get it replaced. I went to Techna Glass's website and got a quote, but found one at a different shop for cheaper. Techna Glass called me the next day and were able to price match the other shop - which was really nice! So I scheduled a noon appointment at the State Street location. Once I got there, I was told my appointment was in Taylorsville (I didn't even know there was a Taylorsville location). Confused, I book it to Taylorsville in 20 minutes and I'm told my appointment is at 1pm. I waited in the parking lot for 40 minutes before handing my keys to the technician. Admittedly I was frustrated by the situation, but everything was remedied as soon as I came back to get my car. To my surprise, the technician not only did a fantastic job replacing the windshield, she went above and beyond to let me know that the body of my car underneath the windshield was rusting, so she took pictures and took care of it for me at no extra charge. She also let me know that down the line I would eventually need to go to a body shop to fix it for a more permanent solution. Not only that, but I also got lifetime rock chip repair and a 12 month warranty on my windshield. The technicians are so honest here and since I had a rock chip I had that repaired and bought the LIFETIME chip repair membership. They also let me know they had a 3 yr windshield warranty replacement program! I Galyans recommend d TECHNA GLASS & especially this location ! I feel better then ever about my windshield being protected & not needing to use the comprehensive of my auto insurance which is a higher deductible then the cost of a new windshield cash out of pocket . If you want the assurance that you will receive the best in customer service, it is worth making the drive out to the Taylorsville location. I chose this location based on Google Maps and Yelp reviews. The windshield installation itself was excellent and there were no issues there. However, the rear view mirror was mounted slightly too low on the windshield, exposing the unsightly wires leading into the headliner. Nothing serious, only a little annoying. When the post installation survey email came, I replied honestly and mentioned the issue. I received a phone call from the manager within 45 minutes inviting me back to the location for a free adjustment. The next day I arrived at the location at 9 AM. In a stroke of extraordinary bad luck, the windshield cracked from the heat while they were softening the glue. According to the manager that was the second time that happened in 25 years. They immediately offered to replace the windshield for free, that same day. The second installation was done flawlessly. Auto glass installation is a tricky business. Mistakes can happen. What distinguishes Techna Glass is their 100% effort to make it right 100% of the time. Before, I was neutral about recommending Techna Glass to others. After this experience I would not hesitate to recommend the Taylorsville location. You will be taken care of. read more

Terrible, terrible, terrible. I too KSL Radio's Dave's Deal to try Technaglass. I had a long crack in my Jeep Wrangler. I specifically asked Cindy H for a particular windshield. Jeep has one with graphics in the bottom corners and the center around the review mirror. I had the install today. After I paid $200+, the wrong windshield was installed. Was quoted 195 plus tax, but when the work was done the bill was 245 plus tax. Had to argue to get the price down, to 205 plus tax. Not pleased with the invoicing process. Also took 1 hour and 40 minutes to get a new windshield. They did a good job, clean install, but frustrated that the pricing wasn't right. read more

These guys suck, I took my new Prius in to get a chip repaired. They attempted to fill a chip they had already repaired and cracked the window. I emailed the owner Troy (Twice). He never even responded. They quoted me a new window after refusing any responsibility for the breakage at a higher price than the price on their website. I've used them for years but they have lost me as a customer, their aggressive growth has compromised their customer service. :( read more

This was probably the best place for my repair! I initially went to Safelite to get my side view mirror fixed and they said they couldn't do it! I came here and they gave me options in what they can do and what I felt comfortable with as well! They were patient with me even when I went the last 20 minutes. We ordered the mirror and when I went in today 4/5/18, Travis was so warm and welcoming in making sure the correct piece was ordered and was able to replace it in a matter of minutes!
