I'm utterly shocked at some of the other reviews-my experiences with Techsedo have been nothing but stellar! I started using them for my every tech need after a horrible experience with the Geek Squad. My latest visit to them was because of my mother, whose computer is old, and had more popups and search bars than I thought possible (let's just say about a third of the browser was search bars!). Anyway, she refused to let me buy her a new one, so I went ahead and dropped it off at Techsedo and hoped for the best. To be honest, I didn't have a lot of hope for the poor machine. Boy was I wrong! When I picked it up, there was none of that garbage on sight, and my mother and I were both surprised to see it running so nice and smooth. More over, they were kind enough to let me know I should instruct my mom on computer viruses and not clicking on shifty sites or install so many things without needing them (you know, what most of us think as common sense), because a lot of it was what had caught the computer to start going down the drain. I am a Mac user, and have had my antique for 10 years... It started to bog down and I knew it needed some work and updating, but procrastinated until it would no longer turn on! I am a working mom, going to grad school, and in the National Guard, so I dont have alot of time to spare. Techsedo came to my house, picked up my Mac in the evening, and informed me about service pricing. The next morning at work I received a call with a detailed explanation of what the issue was, the cost of the repairs, and with my approval the computer was fixed! It was returned to me that afternoon when I returned home from work in- working better than ever! Less than one day without a computer, no drive time for me, and no hassles. I am now approaching 11 years with my mac, and am so grateful for Techsedo's service and affordable pricing. My son wanted a computer for his birthday so I inquired with this business. They had a few refurbished computers in stock and were willing to work in my price range (only had $300). They gave me one to try which didn't have the power to do online gaming. I called them and they said they would remedy the situation. That night the owner came over with another more powerful laptop that could handle online gaming. He let my son try it for a couple days and he loved it. He's still using it to this day and this was a year ago (june 2011). It still runs perfectly. This company gave me the best service for very little money. I have used these guys for other problems I have had with network and printers, with no issues and at a good price ($50-$100). If you want something brand new and want to spend more than $1500 then go to a box store, but when you have limited money and need great service (people who deliver and service most things with perfection, but also tries to remedy the situations where an unanticipated problem arises without losing their shirts), then these guys are great. we know technology is expensive, but i trust these guys to take care of my stuff. read more

I operate a small home business in Big Lake. My home and work networks were all meshed together and creating quite a hassle when I would try to move files and programs around throughout different machines. I was sick of the headache, and decided to do something about it. Well, that something I did turned out to be making a call to Techsedo. They in turn made a call, a house call, to my home business and did a free discovery on my problems and gave me several different options for solving my problems and getting my business and home networks synced, and at the same time, keeping my work files private. The technicians I dealt with were prompt, courteous, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They were able to reconfigure my entire network, and even set me up with a private file and print server, this enabled my to completely eliminate one of the old, outdated machines I had taking up space in my office. I was given Arthur's name by my sister whose referral means more than the Better Business Bureau to me! Initially Arthur did some repair of my aging laptop and he was great! He explained the problem and encouraged me to only fix what was necessary to get me back on my feet. I was concerned about putting money into an older computer and wasn't ready to buy new. His price was reasonable and he came to my home to drop the computer off because I needed it the next day. A year later my computer suddenly died and Arthur found me three different laptops with various specs that would work with my small business. Within two days I had the new computer and again Arthur was at my house at 9pm making sure I was up and running for work the next day. He has provided me with ongoing tech support as needed and I will buy from him again. I wouldn'g go anywhere else for computer sales or repair!!!!! read more

I visited Techsedo after facing a brutal virus attack which deleted some important files from my laptop. Later I came to know from these guys it was a Trojan with a massive destructive ability. After couple of hours these guys were able to make my laptop totally Trojan free. They had a magic software called "eSupport UndeletePlus" which really worked cool. I can't believe when I see my deleted data coming back again! Unbelievable. I was really happy although their service took some time to finish I never expected my data back just wanted to turn laptop back to normal removing that annoying virus. Techsedo guys helped me much to recover my data and it was an amazing service. Price was little heavy but that's ok as I was happy getting my data back, which was priceless! read more

I went to know if they could help me recover my important data from damaged hard drive. These idiots replied everything possible with a stupid smile and told me to pay $80 so that he could start my work. They refused to help me otherwise. I have experienced one of the hardest bargains ever in my life and gave them $15 to start recovery. Result was even worst! They tried for 50 minutes and gave me hard drive replying data recovery never possible. I became angry and told why you guys smiled and told everything possible killing my precious time? I wanted my $15 back but they nearly kicked me out of the store without a single dollar refunded. That's why here I am to kick them back with a precious 1 star review. It's perfect, ha? read more

I was very happy to have this business in my neighborhood; The staff at Techsedo are very courteous and always ready to help with computer problems. My first visit at this business I met the Arthur who showed respect and professionalism. I had my laptop going very slow on I was worried about it because I had a lot of school assignments to accomplish. Arthur ran the diagnosis and told me that I have got a virus attack and a lot of unwanted programs. After we talked he told me he could clean my computer and upgrade to with higher memories; Well, he did everything for me in about 3 hours; my laptop works fine and I was happy with the charge. If there's ever been proof of a total LACK OF BUSINESS ETHICS, it's the fact that the business owner Arthur emailed us offering $100 through Paypal to delete our truthful negative review and write a fake good review for him. Also, many people have screen shots of his craigslist postings asking to "trade good reviews" that he's posted in California, etc... Hey Arthur, if the quality of your work and you business practices didn't totally SUCK, you wouldn't have to be so desperate to fake good reviews. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I am usually really good with my computers. My laptop went completely black, I just thought the battery could've died completely which was not good. So I had to branch out to find and one of my friends recommended that I go to Techsedo and that it was this new place. So I dropped the laptop off and they took a look at it and said they could totally replace the battery (because that was the problem after all) and gave me a reasonable quote and when I came in the next day my laptop ran smoothly. It's been a couple weeks and it's still running strong. I would definitely go back if my laptop craps out of me again, although hopefully I won't have to because they did quality work. read more

So the laptop they worked on 6 months ago (installing Windows 7 to replace Windows Vista) has started acting up. It's a hardware issue on a 6 year old laptop. I said I will go out and buy a new laptop, at which time Ryan said "We can source you a new laptop and transfer over your data and programs, and apply the $45 diagnostic fee to the total price." WOW!! We discussed different laptop makers and agreed on Asus (I think he was surprised that I knew that brand :-) ). Anyway, my new laptop should be ready today, and I am already giving them a 5 star rating for great service and great prices. If you want fast, quick, reliable service, go nowhere other than TechSedo. With a friendly, reliable and knowledgeable staff, they can fix any problems. With all my photos, videos and most beloved documents on my computer I was absolutely devastated when my old HP would not on. They took the time to dive in a save what they could from the hard drive, and they managed to save almost everything! I was beyond relieved. Their services are extremely reasonable priced for the time and effort they put into their work. It seems there's hardly a question they don't know the answer to. Funny how a great deal of positive reviews are from another state...fake perhaps?! Are they paying for positive reviews from people that have never been there, yes. Don't trust this company. They do not give you your original hard drive back. My laptop came back with a lesser quality, smaller and used hard drive. Presumably from another customer. Do they format them?? Could the previous customers data be recovered with the right equipment? Yes it could. Though his workers appear to be nice, the owner Arthur Gallagher, is condescending, treats you like an idiot and lies without hesitation. My advice, stay away. read more

I had to bring in my computer after the hard drive got corrupted for whatever reason, and I needed to recover the data. I'm a pretty tech-savvy guy, having built computers myself; but for the life of me I couldn't recover my files! I work from home, so the files I had stored were very, very important to me. I'm very happy the techie at Techsedo was able to recover it. The staff at Techsedo was friendly, and it's clear they know what they're doing, and their prices are competitive. I just want to say that the other reviews on here seem as skewed as it can get. I recently had two outstanding experiences with the staff and service at Techsedo. I brought a computer in last week that was experiencing a lot of lag time browsing the internet and lots of pop ups. The friendly staff took a real interest in what my computer was doing and how I wanted it to perform. They gave me a diagnostic of malware and viruses and offered me a bunch of different options for repair. I had them remove the viruses and it was done the same day! I was very impressed with Arthur from Techsedo. I had a friend use him last year and he gave him a pretty solid recommendation, so I tried him this year when my laptop was sluggish. He found my hard drive was running out of gas and replaced it and reimaged my Windows 7 for a reasonable price. Two weeks later my daughter turned off my laptop during a Windows update - note to self - NEVER do that, just like it says! He had to jump start my machine with another (like a battery jump in your car), again for a ridiculously reasonable price. Very personable and quick turnaround time. read more

I heard about Techsedo but never been there before. I was in trouble with my laptop virus and brought that with me. Technical staff was very friendly with me. He noted all the issues I have faced specially I had unusual laptop restart issue. He ran anti-virus and some other supporting software for scanning my device thoroughly. Within 2 hours I got my laptop back to work! Great service. He also suggested me some helpful tips for setting up of my home computer network as I was curious to learn about that. This place is a lifesaver! I was having a bizarre issue with my router where the Internet access would read 5 bars (on Windows 7) but the internet connect would die, so I had to reconnect constantly. It made streaming and downloading anything an extreme hassle! A friend of mine referred me to Techsedo and not only were they able to come and promptly fix the issue they were able to install upgrades I didn't even know I needed, now my entire computer runs a lot faster!
