I took a camera lens in for repair in Nov 2025. After no communication 2 months, I called and was told they were waiting for a part. Another month went by and no communication. I called - still waiting for part. I went into the store and spoke on the phone with the technician who said the part had come in and the lens should be fixed by the following week. Two weeks go by, no communication. I went into the store again and was told the lens was in Miami because the tech didn't have the tools in the Sarasota shop to fix it. It has now been 4 months. I have demanded that the lens be returned and not only have they not returned the lens, but I just get the run around and blame shifting. I am having to resort to filing a small claims suit. so my 14 year old son worked his behind off to purchase an Xbox Series X, after a few months of use he noticed the hdmi port was loose so he decided to have it repaired before it totally broke. when doing research on repairs he had the option to ship to microsoft for free seei it was still under warranty although this process took 10-14 days he didn't want to wait that long. I let him make the decision because he was also paying for the repair, he chose Techy on Beeridge and cattlemen in Sarasota because they gave him a fair price and assured him it would only take 3-5 days. well, after many lies, excuses and 6 weeks later he got it back just to get it home to find out it wasn't working at all. we brought it directly back to Techy and this went on for about another month. we dealt with the manager there (Theo) who we later found out was also working at the North Port store because we drove down there to see if that location could help us. at one time Theo told me over the phone that I called there too much and that's why he couldn't get any work done, I called 3 times one day because he kept prom me he'd call right back and never did. theo finally blamed the issue on a software problem and said it was something my son did wrong. I spoke to the corporate office and they informed me to request a work order from Theo . a refund and the owner's information so I could contact him. Theo denied all of that. initially when they opened the Xbox up they informed my son there was nothing else wrong with it except the loose port. My son is so disappointed and I'm still trying to do something. I will not stop when it comes to my son. what kind of life lesson is this teaching my beautiful boy. Shame on you Theo and shame on whoever the owner is for not reaching out to me and trying to solve this. please go somewhere else to get your repairs done. stay away from these dishonest people. This is absolutely the worst service I've ever experienced in any industry. I dropped off my computer for repair. it's been over a month and I still have no idea what's going on. I call every other day and leave a never returned VM. I stop at the store and the guy does not know if it's been shipped back from a repair or if it's making any progress. then, 1 week ago, he tells me it's unable to be repaired. The customer service way by far the best that I have ever witnessed, the attention to detail to the issues that I was having with a detailed explanation was something I was blown away with. I appreciated the care and time that chase took to resolve the issue I was having. I will be coming back in the future if I have any other technical issues. Paid $160.00 in advance for a new phone screen which I was told it would take 3 days and that took 10 days and I had to keep calling back. Finally got new screen for it to completely fail in 6 weeks. Jeremy ordered me another new screen and again it took 10 days and I had to keep checking on it. The second screen is failing also and when I call I am just told another lie about when that screen will arrive. Absolutely a complete rip off. Called corporate and they don't care. Customer beware! I took in my IPad for a screen repair. I paid for a new screen, during install of the new screen, the technician broke my original home button and had to order a new one. I was called when my iPad was ready (some days later), only to be told when I got there, "I didn't like the way the new button was working so I ordered another one and it should be here any minute". I waited over an hour and the button never showed up. I left in frustration because I should have been called ahead of time about the button issue. I asked the technician to call me when the new one was installed and in working order. When I didn't get a phone call, I called in to have the technician tell me that the charge port was faulty. Once that repair was done I was then told the battery connection inside was faulty. I went to the store to be shown a picture of my iPad from the technicians phone. I said, my iPad isn't here, is it? His response was no, I sent it out for micro soldering. See, I already knew this because the location was turned off by someone other than myself. After the battery connector was worked on, I was told my iPad was not in a condition to be worked on any further and that the technician could sell me a refurbished one for a little more money. I agreed and the replacement was ordered. When I went to pickup the replacement, I walk in to find the technician wiping the iPad with his shirt. I asked what he was doing and he said there were smudges from a screen protector on it. I looked at it and immediately knew it was buff marks from a bumper ipad case and those would not come out, so the technician put the screen I paid for on the refurbished iPad. I picked it up to inspect it and saw the condition of the metal which looked like it had been dragged behind a garbage truck down the road. He said he ordered a grade B replacement. He didn't charge the extra trade in amount at this point. I get home with my "new" iPad to find that the left side of the new screen is not responsive, the screen won't seat and the iPad is literally bent. I took in an excellent condition ipad for a screen change and ended up with a piece of trash. I called corporate and explained my situation and they were to have the manager call me back, that never happened. I called my local store to demand an iPad that is equivalent to my original, it's been almost 3 weeks since that technician told me he was ordering a replacement. I would never recommend this company or any of its franchises. I would give negative 10 stars if it were possible. read more
