I recently happened upon this charming nursery while shopping around for a casket spray. I first looked online to get a feel for what price to expect and what colors/flowers would be significant to the arrangement my family wanted. Additionally, I ordered a casket insert, which was surprisingly quite lovely. My experience here was very positive. My suggestion to people is that they talk to the florist if they have specific wants for their arrangement. Ordering flowers online is always risky. This is a locally owned and operated nursery and I'm super excited to see what plants they'll offer this spring. It appears they might also occupy space across the street for spring/summer sales. Unfortunately, I was delivered Mothers Day flowers that were not the correct flowers ordered and certainly were not florist grade.My son lives out of state that made the order.When I called I was told they are very busy with Mothers Day and that was why my order was wrong and not up to standards. I was greeted by a helpful man who was talkative and kind. He would greet other customers as they approached the inventory and gave helpful knowledge when asked about certain plants. The crash if disappointing was the prices he gave for two very small junipers. Claimed he had to drive a great distance to get them. Where he shopped is where I normally shop. I'm not sure what happened, but I didn't receive the flowers I was supposed to get on Valentine's Day, so the next day the phone was off.. no one answering questions. Still no flowers. Yesterday I had someone knock and run.. and they left the flowers. (It was obvious they went out of their way to not see anyone) and unfortunately the bouquet was nothing like my partner ordered. I have no idea what happened, but I would NOT trust this place with my flower needs. Not to mention they never gave an apology or explained anything, and they still have their phone off! My mother came to visit from out of state, fell and broke her leg and ended up in the hospital. My cousin that doesn't live here was trying to get someone to deliver flowers quickly. It was closing time on a Saturday and instead of having to wait for the next delivery time they actually delivered them after closing just so she could get them before she was transferred to another facility. I hope they realize just how happy the flowers made her and the lasting impression they made on us for going out of their way to make it happen. read more

My son ordered flowers and candies for my birthday the 18th February. I did not know about it until on the 20th the flowers were delivered and the roses had some brownish on them. I did told the delivery guy my birthday was pasted, but he just said I know and left. The next day the box of candies arrived. The delivery person was going leave it and go but I opened the door she handed it to me. I asked what is this and she said it was part of the flowers. Anyhow, today I got a call from the owner to confirmed the delivery of the stuff. I said I did got them but my birthday was pasted. I guess my son canceled the order when the flowers and candies did not come did not come on my birthday. But they stilled deliver them. The lady was rude, I told her they shouldn't delivered the stuff and let my son know. She kept saying because of the weather they were closed and could not complete the order. I've been a customer of Ted & Debbie's for years. I'm retired and my wife is retiring this summer after 34 years of public school teaching and I wanted to get her a nice Valentine's Day arrangement. Jan 28th I ordered a really nice arrangement from Ted & Debbie's. I went there Valentine's Day about 9:30 to pickup the flowers I ordered and what was ready for me was NOTHING and I mean NOTHING similar to what I ordered. On top of that they didn't have a box for the base so I was going to have hold the flowers while driving. I made the mistake of not taking a picture of what was handed to me. I showed the worker in the store my confirmation email with the "Premium" picture I had paid for. I'm really disappointed and irritated and I almost paid to have these delivered. I can only imagine what my wife would have thought if they were delivered to her school Valentine's Day. Last August for her birthday I ordered flowers from Ted & Debbie's to be delivered to her school with instructions they be delivered by noon or 1 (I forgot the exact time) and the flowers weren't delivered to her before she left school about 3:15. At that time I called and talked to a lady and she had the driver did call me back and he brought them to my house. Stuff happens so that didn't make me change florists but it is what kept me from having these flowers delivered. Wednesday morning the man in the store was understanding and sympathetic but said he didn't have authority to issue a refund but called his boss, Emily. He then told me she would call me but I never received ANY communication from Emily. I've emailed Ted & Debbie's and tried to call the number I was given for Emily and her voicemail cuts off before you can leave a message. I've gotten nothing but silence. I've been a Ted & Debbie's customer for years and although I've not always got exactly what I ordered they've never been this bad and I have learned customer service from Emily is below a terrible level. I often will not even leave review when I get bad service but after paying for a really nice Valentine's Day arrangement and being treated like this doesn't deserve being ignored. read more

I got this for my mother being sick. I appreciate the mere fact my job thought about me. I got a suprise call saying I had a delivery and asked when I would be home for the day. I had never heard of the flower shop but it was small and sits off the road. Up on arrival they had a lot of movement that day. Some event I heard the owner say. It seemed like a line at first so I stood outside. When asked if I needed anything. I said I needed to pick up a flower order. I was told to go on in and stand at the register. When I stood and waited to be helped, I told them what I needed and then was sent to another counter to redeem my beautiful flowers. It was a little confusing but i am guessing because they were short and planning for their event. Both Ted and Debbie were there which is always nice to see at local places. I've driven by this adorable shop for years without guessing how much they really have going on inside! Several areas with a modest but healthy and broad selection of houseplants, succulents and cacti. A beautiful floral area. A nice selection of terracotta and decorative plant pots and cache pots. Higher prices than what you might for most of the houseplants at a big box store, but they were so healthy and robust! I'll definitely make my way back there again. read more

This is my third time using Ted and Debbie's and I want to say I'm a little disappointed this time around. The last few times I had a great experience where I was able to pick out my own arrangement as well as purchase a beautiful orchid. This time I pre-ordered flowers online and picked them up at the store. When I received the flowers, the alstroemerias were wilted and the arrangement itself looked sparse. I had to pull off the wilted petals. I took a picture of the bouquet and posted it to this Yelp page. I am extremely disappointed in this florist shop. I called and placed an order to have delivered to my mother after her heart surgery, I gave the florist the item number and name of the arrangement I wanted. When my sister sent me a picture of what was delivered it was NOTHING like the arrangement I ordered. I ordered orange roses, orange spray roses, hot pink carnations and Matsumoto asters, I upgraded to the premium size instead of standard. My mom recieved yellow roses with pink tips and mauve carnations. There were NO Matsumoto Asters and none of the flowers were the correct color. Needless to say I am very upset at this point. I spent two hours looking at several florist websites for that "perfect" arrangement. I emailed Ted and Debbie 's with photos of what I ordered and what was delivered and asked them to make a new bouquet that was similar to their online photos or refund me, that was 6 days ago. I haven't recieved a response and I'm not holding my breath. I hope this review helps anyone looking for a special arrangement to brighten a loved one's day. DO NOT GO TO TED & DEBBIES!!!! TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I placed a $60 order for a unique tropical orchid arrangement on their website and LITERALLY received a grocery store looking potted plant (orchid). When I called to complain about my disappointment with what my mother received for her birthday the lady said it was my fault for approving a change in the order. She had called me shortly after placing the order to report to me that they did not have the base (or pot) that was shown online in stock at their store and if it was ok if that was changed. I said that would be fine (under the impression that the pot was the only thing being changed). Little did I know that was approving her to change the entire product. The only thing she offered to do for this "miscommunication" was to come back and pick it back up from the delivery address. I said NO thank you- call me crazy but I didn't want to take flowers away from my mother on her birthday. Not a good experience at all! Came into the flower shop 2/13/15 and it seemed no one knew what they were doing. The owner was yelling repeatedly at his employees and when I finally got threw picking out my arraignment, the 90 year old woman at the front check-out charged Me 3 times for the same order! I had to come back to the store later in the day once I found this out. I will never come back to this establishment!!! read more

The flowers that we got from them were very beautiful and beautifully arranged. My grandfather was a florist and he even said that they were beautiful! Disappointed! I placed an order for a flower arrangement for my mother-in-laws 50th birthday. The order was set to be delivered on Friday (her birthday) and I didn't find out until Saturday morning from my FIL that the order was never delivered. Apparently the driver tried to make the delivery late in the evening on Friday when they were already out celebrating and were promised that the flowers would be delivered early Saturday morning by a certain time. The in-laws waited Saturday morning and an hour 1/2 after the new "set" delivery time, tried to call the driver and finally left for a pre-arranged birthday breakfast when they didn't receive a response. When I called the flower shop, I was told that there was no way my FIL was given a specific delivery time for Saturday. (I don't see why my FIL would just make that up.) I was also told that unfortunately they have had some turn over with drivers and that they use college students which sometimes aren't dependable. I don't see how that is my fault; I paid delivery and expect my order to be delivered as requested. Either hire more dependable people or at least take some responsibility for delivery errors. I got a very bland apology from the person I spoke with so I just told them not to bother with the order. I expect to see my funds refunded in the next few business days or I'll be calling back again. read more
