We were on our way home from Southern California with 2 tractors on our car hauler and the tread came off of 2 of the 4 trailer tires. When we got home I called Nancy at Tedford Tire and she said to come in. We arrived and they had all 5 of our tires changed out within 30 to 40 minutes. Everyone was so professional and friendly! We dropped in on a Tuesday morning with our Ford Ranger, guessing we had some issues with our brakes and rotors. The young man who was our mechanic was super fast and thorough, understanding that we had to get the brakes done before driving the two hours home from town. The office staff is super friendly as well, and office has popcorn and drinks and toys for the little ones. They even let us keep our two big dogs in the office as it was a super hot day out and we spent a few hours waiting there. Definitely recommend, we had a good experience with our repairs here. read more

This garage saved us on the way back from the Nevada desert this summer. My oil pressure light was on and I had been told that my engine was having catastrophic failure. It turned out to be only an oil pressure sensor. They could really have taken advantage, but they completely took the high road. Randy and Shawn were a lifesaver! During our trip from California to Colorado we noticed our alignment was severely off, thus destroying a tire to the point that if we were to continue our journey it would have become unsafe. All shops within an hour radias were booked for the day, if not multiple days. After explaining our situation to Randy the manager at Tedford Tire he managed to fit us into his already booked schedule. The Tech, Shawn was quick and efficient showing us what he was doing along the way. On top of all of that Rachel, one of the receiptionists, was very kind and hospitable. This is quite possibly the best business I've ever experienced. They quickly diagnosed my problem (which was major), offered me a fair price to resolve and treated me with great patience and civility as I took up space for much of the day in their lobby (with my small dog who was stuck with me). I ultimately decided not to repair the car as it was close to the end of it's useful life anyway so they helped me determine how best to dispose of it. I went in for a transmission flush and they got it done fast . I've never had issues until they did my transmission flush. My transmission jerks hard out of first gear and they looked at it again and said nothing was wrong. So my transmission is suppose to do that? No it's not . read more

These guys were nothing less that awesome! Their customer service was stellar and they did the job for less than I expected. In addition, the waiting area was clean and comfortable, so if you have to wait while the work is being done you don't have to sit on a towel to keep the oil stains off of your clothes. Stellar service!! My POS Range Rover dumped a water pump just days before my trip to LA to ship it to Guam. I explained the circumstances and they quickly diagnosed the problem, had the pump expedited and put everything back together as fast as possible. Broke down on Monday and was on the road Tuesday evening. I also had them replace all the fluids in my truck for storage. Again, great service. read more

Was driving my Nissan Frontier with small camper thru the desert....and had TWO flats. Limped into Fallan and stopped at Tedford cause they were the first tire store I saw. They were great!! First they offered to patch up the wimpy tires that came with my truck to "get me home (near SF.)" But after conversation--they know alot and never pushed me to buy--I decided to upgrade and bought 4 new 10 ply truck tires. They were great about answering my questions and trying to sell me only what I needed. And they have answered questions by phone since then. I highly recommend these guys. read more

Randy runs this place and is very honest and fair. Too bad it is owner by the Mayor. Whose motto I believe is "of the people by the people for the good old boys" Which explains why there are no good restaurants, movie theaters or bowling alleys etc in Fallon. read more

Wow, real customer service! Brought my BMW in for rear brakes after calling multiple other shops. Not only did they beat the other shops on price by a mile but also offered to drive me home while they did the job.
