You might not know this, but many insurance companies are working hard to limit their exposure for homeowners in Northern California. This means they will find trivial reasons to cancel or not renew. This seems to be a one-man small business. But don't get it wrong, This guy, Eric Tedmus, is THE BEST insurance agent you can have, at least for me, so far. When I say best, I mean both price and service. When I changed my HO ins. from rental back to primary, my former agent Liberty raised my premium from 650 to 1500. So I went an insurance solicit website. Fill up the form. Within seconds, I got emails from Tedmus and another 2 brand-name agents. But Eric's call came in just another seconds later. Among all those I shopped around from, Tedmus gave me the best quote, term-by-term comparison. After going for the deal, he took care of everything: docs, transferring from previous insurers, etc, all with very complete and concise, and professional manner. Man, this guy works his pants-off. I called him either day or night. I remember calling him on Xmas day (shame on me) for some issue. I called him when roadside assistant was needed, etc. He never said no to any of my request, not once so far. The insurer he found for me was Allied.
