    Boiled peanut hummus
    Jessica S.

We had an unforgettable meal at the restaurant inside Tee Off at The Wharf in Orange Beach--truly a hidden gem tucked inside the swing of a golf club! Chef Jon Kastner (yes, the same culinary genius formerly at Anchor Bar & Grill and Southern Chili Lab) is working magic in the kitchen here. Every dish was creative, flavorful, and beautifully executed. We started with the boiled peanut hummus--a bold, Southern twist that somehow tasted like comfort and innovation all at once. The pickled collards (and other veggies) on top perfectly complemented the smooth hummus. The wings were crisp, juicy, so flavorful, and the Alabama white BBQ sauce was downright addictive. I seriously could eat that sauce on everything. We couldn't resist trying a couple of other wing sauces, too, and every one was a win. The fried green tomato salad was another standout--fresh, tangy, and just the right balance of crispy and creamy. From start to finish, the food was elevated but not fussy--exactly the kind of place you want to linger with friends, savoring every bite. Whether you're here to play or just to eat, Tee Off is officially on our must-visit list.

The service was amazing and so friendly. The food was delightful we started with an appetizer which I could have had a second order. My fish tacos were great the best thing were the French fries and ranch.

We stumbled on this place while shopping at the Wharf. The bartender was so nice and gave us food recommendations. It is a little loud, but Sunday football was on. We loved everything we ate & the beer was perfectly cold.

What I thought was a golf store, it was actually a very nice restaurant with great options and very tasty mimosas.

First things first: parking. It's limited and easy to miss, so keep an eye out. The restaurant itself is cozy--only two tables inside plus a small bar. If you're coming with a group larger than four, the outdoor picnic tables are definitely your best bet. They offer $10 wine bottle specials, which we, of course, took full advantage of. The staff was warm, attentive, and incredibly accommodating. They moved us inside as soon as a table opened up--and that's exactly when an emergency occurred. A guest tripped on the stairs while leaving, and the team had to call an ambulance. Despite the situation, the staff stayed calm, efficient, and compassionate. They managed the emergency, continued serving guests, and our food still arrived promptly. The dishes were flavorful and authentic, portions were generous, and the prices were absolutely reasonable. We'll definitely be back.

Nice breeze, but cars driving by sort of dampened the "atmosphere". Live acoustic musician, nice job on that. Waitress came out pretty quick, took our order and got it going. Decent selection of stuff on the menu. Wife ordered the Baked meatballs and a side house salad. I ordered the meatball sub with kettle chips and a small Caesar salad. Food arrived. Portions were quite large. Meatballs were tasty. Good flavor. The sauce, good but I couldn't help but have recollections of something from a jar. But still tasted good. The Caesar salad, couldn't quite put my finger on it, but seemed too leafy than the usual romaine. Over all, not fantastic, but not disappointing. We seemed fortunate as for service. We did walk in and ask if we could sit outside so we were acknowledged and then the waitress came and followed up pretty quickly. There was a group of about 6 adults with / little kids that sat themselves and we never saw either waitress go over to them, so after a while they got up and left. Would we come back? Yeh, knowing not to expect too much special.

The food is delicious and cooked to perfection -- everything we tried was flavorful and satisfying. It's a great kid- and family-friendly venue with lots to do. There's live music, karaoke, and even a mini beach or sandy play area for kids. I love that there's both indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor space is perfect for family fun. The location is convenient with plenty of parking, a little off the beaten path from the main beach, but totally worth it. We can't wait to go back next year and will definitely make Tacky Jack's a regular stop for lunch and dinner on vacation!

The place seemed nice with live music but not very clean, a couple of our chairs were wobbly. Hubby and I ordered a Bahama mama and a pina colada, drinks were good. We had the fried green tomatoes for appetizers, my were those hot and delicious, they are served with a side of ranch. For entrees we had the shrimp and grits, tacky shrimp and from the kids menu lil' fishies. Our food was all very hot and fresh but everything was very subtly flavored. Service could've been better, I had to get up and look for the waitress after waiting for a while to get the check.
