Many times my watch shows a decibel level of 97+ decibels. That is not healthy. The cafe there has a motto that says, "if it's here it's healthy". That is not true with the classes because the music is so loud it will damage your hearing and nobody wants that. And nobody wants the instructor to be yelling constantly. That is not motivating. This happens in more than one class with more than one instructor. Not sure what they are thinking.

I haven't been playing USTA tennis in Colorado for very long, but we recently played one of the tennis teams from LT Centennial. One of the things I like most about Colorado is the people and the laid-back and friendly attitudes. The LT team we played against was rude, condescending, lacked ethics, had a superiority complex and frankly were the most unpleasant group of women I have ever been around in the tennis community. I'm surprised that management at LT Centennial isn't trying to change the culture when it comes to their facility, but I'm sure that eventually they'll see it in their bottom line. USTA Ladies, be better.

My parents have contributed significant amount of money to this establishment and remained loyal when people chose to sue them for their poor handling of payment during COVID. We have also referred this club to many people that attended. My sister chose to part ways with this club after a bad experience but I considered elevation to still be part of my home. Until recently when the owner Rob Graham told me to step away from a conversation where he screamed at my mother in her face including multiple profanities and called her a liar. This was after he recruited his coaches to listen to her private conversations she was having about very real corruption that exists in this club that my family has experienced first hand. I have never been more appalled and disgusted at the behavior of an adult man who runs an establishment that is supposed to make young girls and boys feel safe and supported. Coaches that I trusted stood by with knowledge of this behavior and continue to do nothing. I'm very sad to say Elevation is no longer part of my home.

This has been nothing more than an attack on the club out of anger that something did not go their way. This is far from what I have experienced over the years. My daughter was a part of this club for most of her childhood. She was involved with Spikes all the way through H.S. I did get communication from the coaches and owner/coach, even to the point where I had to say, "You do know you are telling us everything 3 times". He then went on to explain why he does this. Over time I learned why often there are others who either forget, do not listen, or desire to manipulate what has been said. Having been with this organization for some time now, I have learned that yes, the owner/coach can be outspoken at times. This is not different from any coach I have experienced, having been an athlete myself. I have been in physical therapy for over 30 years, along with being a part of a large research and development of performance improvement and sports injury prevention program, specifically for female, adolescent athletes. Every girl out there is somebody's "Princess" as mine of course was and always will be. This did not mean she was given a "pass" on anything when it came to the team and coaching. This is all during the time that I became the vertical trainer for the team, and an assistant coach. This owner is fair, and consistent. As a coach and trainer, my daughter was not an exception. I approached this owner after approximately 2 years of watching my daughter with this organization and the coaches. It was my decision to approach this due to what I was seeing. What I had, and have seen, is an owner and coach, along with other coaches, that do this because they love it. He keeps prices down, he is fair, he will try to help when able and does care about the girls not only being a better player, more importantly being a part of the community that helps develop a stronger person for the future. Many may not know it, or understand him, I do know he has a heart of gold. That is why I became a part of this organization. Thank you to the Jumpstart and Spikes volleyball organization not only because it helped develop my daughter into a sturdier person, it has also given me opportunity to make a difference in a manner that counts so much to all of us. Since adding the Elite Academy in 2023 and offering more travel and options for long term growth, the club has really started to blow up. There's not as much drama as other clubs, and we've played for several so we should know. I'm hoping they can keep the value up as more people start to join. At the end of the day, all clubs have seasons with shifting team, coach, league, etc. dynamics, and right now United is really catching their stride. I wouldn't want to be anywhere else in Colorado at the moment.

In fact, if at any point he would have left we would have followed him, as would have several other families. While first and foremost this is a business and they do have to be accountable to their investors, sadly that is all they are. Two years ago, with our very accomplished Coach, we had an incredibly successful team, a team that was one of the tops in the state in its age group. Then due to the organizations pettiness, our Coach asked 'why' to some of the silly policies associated with this organization, this team was dismantled, yet our Coach stayed for the boys. Last year, the organization decided that each team would have 9-10 players per team and that for each game the Coach could ask that players from other teams either play up or play down. Their thought process is that all the Coaches coach exactly the same and even though these boys did not play together, not to mention that these teams played at or near the same times, that all would be okay. As you can imagine it was not, yet our Coach with his skill set and knowledge of the game was still able to manage a great season. Then this past season, United decided in its infinite wisdom to place 18-19 players on our team, you can imagine how excited the boys, and parents, were about this.....again it simply didn't make sense. Unless you take one thing into account, the relationship that our Coach had with the organization and the pettiness of the leadership. Two years ago many of us parents wrote positive comments about our Coach and sent them to United. The leadership responded by accusing us of 'ganging up on them', and chastised us for writing said positive affirmations. They could/should have probably used these in a positive light and shared them on their website as a form of marketing. The actions of United, while I believe it was meant towards the demise of our wonderful Coach, had only one consequence and only one group actually suffered from their actions......our kids! Again, while as a business they do have to answer again to their owners/shareholders, currently that is the only group they are currently accountable to. Stay away, stay very far away.......unless they rehaul their current leadership.
