I'm happy you don't have to drive to Austin to get some Tejas birria! The tacos are a 10/10. Today we tried the birria melt on Texas toast (10/10) and birria ramen (8/10). I prefer the tacos and toast melt more than the ramen but still so good. Had the piña agua fresca last time and I still think about that drink. Today I got the sandía, which is my favorite, and it did not disappoint. They have covered seating and the line isn't bad during the evening. read more

Highlights: *Birria Ramen *Aguas Frescas *Birria Melt Review: We are in the hunt to find the best birria spot in Austin and surrounding areas. I've seen this spot mentioned to me all over social media so we had to finally check it out. The Birria ramen had a good amount of beef, noodles were on point and the onion's definitely added the right amount of acidity. The food is always drippy and delicious! So much flavor and the price point makes sense for the serving sizes! I recommend trying it all! But the birria tacos and flautas are my favorites! Be careful when taking your food to go, I have had the consommé leak in my car two different times due to lids not being very secure (horrid odor to try and remove!). I've had this place on my watch list ever since I saw someone post about a Birria Grilled Cheese Sandwich. This is a family owned business with two locations, I visited the Buda location. The guy taking my order was great and I ordered the Birria Melt...Texas Toast filled with tender Beef Birria and cheese with onions, cilantro, green salsa, and a cup of consommé. This is a SIGNIFICANT sandwich and the flavors are incredible. The beef is so tender and the marinade used gives it great flavor that shines through everything. When you add all of the other ingredients to the sandwich and dip it into the consommé, you will experience a Birria religious moment! Plus...I washed it down with a Mexican Coke!!! They also have Birria Tacos, Pizza, Quesadillas, and Ramen...the owner has really gotten creative. The birria tacos here are the real deal. My family and I are partial to CJ Tacos, and on this day it was just a little too far for us. We made the right choice, like I always tell our kids "you have to try the food first before making a decision".. And this day we did, Holly crap their birria noodles, I highly recommend everyone try. I was told they have been making their birria tacos for some time, and truth be told they have mastered the art of cooking FN amazing food... The only negative I have to mention is they don't make rice n beans.. Let me just start with... then hitchu with the and from that first glance opening the container a little then after that first bite we were like . We experienced a lotta ... man it was good!!!! We will definitely be back for some more. We got here 20min till closing so no aguas frescas but the fellas hooked up the tacos and flautas!!! Seasoning was on point and the sauce added just enough to the meal to give it a pop! Cheese was all gooey and yummy and don't even get me started on the green salsa. It's a food truck wayyyyy out in East Kyle. We had to take a lot of hilly winding roads from west Buda over to it, but each order comes with 4 hearty birria tacos and a cup of the sauce that you dip them in. We got 2 orders and the whole family really liked them. It was definitely a winner. Service is fast since you order online or at the window and they have a small built out patio in front of the truck so not much for ambiance but it's nice if you want to eat your food fresh and made on the spot. We grabbed our order and brought it home. I would recommend as you can't always find birria tacos in this Kyle/Buda area. read more

I've been coming here for over 3 times while it says they are open and they been closed. I'm tired of driving here and them being closed. Caught one of the employees one time and gave me the hours that are below. Apparently they've been having personal issues. That's totally understandable but at least update the hours. OMG. Amazing, delicious, better heated up the next day?! I know birria tacos are kind of a thing now but this place is doing it right. Food was spectacular but I do have to say there were a few things that held back that 5th star. They took a really long time, we waited about 45 minutes for two plates of tacos. They don't serve alcohol, there is however a gas station within walking distance... clears throat. There is picnic tables outside but not really much else I guess it could be worse but if this place goes from food truck to restaurant- look out it's going to DOMINATE!
