You want to see someone have a power trip? Look no further! The guy managing the place always has a problem with repair companies getting his residents fixed. Always demanding crazy things just to appease him. He's threatened to call the cops on for not "checking in" with him, when we checked in with his wife and he just wasn't informed. He calls me today and tells me we can no longer provide rv repair service there because of another power trip move. Stay far away. The guy managing the place is a complete joke and so rude to everyone that comes thru there. I hope the owner realizes why he's getting bad reviews. It's because of bad management. We stayed here a month. The park was super quite and everyone was very nice, especially all the grounds workers. Restrooms and bathhouse were clean everyday. Laundry room was clean and the priceas were reasonable. They had a nice little gym that I used. The rower didn't work (batteries were dead) and it would be nice if they had a small set of weights. The pool was closed but looked nice. We used the clubhouse also and it had alot of things to utilize. If we are in the area again we will definitely stay here again. read more

The new managers are rude and disrespectful. I over hear them talking bad about others in the park. They make rules they themselves don't follow, like speeding and driving up one-way streets. The older lady in the office is rude with no regard to being in customer service. They is a super friendly younger girl in office but even she can't make up for the others working there. The bathrooms were dirty with bugs and spider webs our whole stay there. Even though they claim bathrooms are cleaned daily. Will not return. read more

I stayed here with my husband for a week or so. We checked in on a Friday a super friendly young lady . She helped us find places to eat and go visit while in the area. That was the extent of our nice time while staying. Dirty facilities. Rude men in golf carts. We went to get propane and the lady in the office I think she said Cindy or Candy was not friendly and when we inquired about places she seemed bothered and annoyed. The place was not maintained to the standards of other parks and seemed run down. We were parked in the middle spots and there's a German shepherd behind us. This dog was left out by itself, barked and lunged at us as we were outside. we were kinda scared. I told the office lady who laughed it off. For the money we were paying to stay I expected more from the cleanliness to the service. It was really off putting and we will stay at another park our next time through. read more

I would only stay here if desperate. They were overly, almost fake friendly, upon checking in. Telling me how they are the new managers, then proceeded to bad mouth an ex employee or current resident. In front of customers! Not very managerial of them and shows poor taste. They made a fuss about picking up my dogs droppings, no biggie, any good dog owner would. But then I see dog poop everywhere. Even right in front of the park with signs saying to clean up after your dog. I received a paper with park rules, no problem. Then, see the staff in golf carts driving through rv spots and not attending to their dogs. The manager was driving her personal truck up the one-way street! What is the point of having rules? It's not such a big deal. But, the lack of cleanliness in the laundry room right after the lady (who was polite) was done cleaning was worrisome. The floor was wet, so she mopped, but dust was everywhere. Chunks of dirt inside the washing machine and the dryers took 2 cycles to dry. The restrooms looked somewhat updated, but again, dirt pushed in the corners with dead bugs all over. The younger Mexican looking guy with the golf cart was extremely rude and talked distrispectfully to whomever while on his phone just sitting in the middle of the road. I waited on propane for almost 15 minutes in 86* heat (I know, not bad for texas), all for you to be rude and short with me. My electric kept going out, to which they blamed my RV. It took 3 days for them to even check it, then blamed the last managers for the issue. It doesn't matter who was here before or who did what you're here now it's your responsibility. If they're the new managers, I'd hate to see the old ones. Maybe vet better managers with a sense of hospitality. read more

My experience has been good. Rates are in line with the area RV parks and better than some that are close to the theme parks. Well keep, some of the space have trees with shade, cable TV connections, laundry, bath houses ( which I haven't visited) pool looks clean ( haven't used) and the office has always been pleasant when I have visited person or by phone. My stay here has been a good experience as to date. And I plan to be here a while. read more

We stayed here for a long weekend. Checked in late on a Thursday and checked out Sunday. Sites were level and clean. Honestly we weren't at the park much we came down for SeaWorld. About a 10 minute drive to SeaWorld. Based on our weekend we would stay here again without hesitation. read more

Stayed here for a month while looking for a house to buy. Wow, just Wow. no one ever goes outside of their trailers. They say they are pet friendly, that is only if you leave your pet in your trailer locked up. We walked our dog to the dog park and they have a trail that goes to the end of the property. they told me to walk dog down there. Well, the field is full of standing septic. you cannot do anything down there without smelling sewer. I have pics of standing septic. couple times a week it is super bad, must be the days they open up the septic to run freely into the open grass area that they want you to spend time on. They say it is kid friendly. Not the case. signs saying no bike riding on hills, well it's all hills so no bike riding Kids. they have a tetherball that you can't play because of the stench of septic right where you are trying to play. My grandkids were disgusted. The club house was also disgusting. We had to play on a pool table that was broken, you had to stick your arm up into the table to get the balls out because the inside was crushed. you couldn't watch the tv. The foos ball table was broken. Any child could get hurt in that room. My husband and I are very respectful people, and we don't like to cause problems. We were told your dog can't be outside. Ok well she is perfectly fine, not causing problems. Then we were told that we had complaints about driving too fast in there. Not the case. They said that the truck from California was driving too fast. Ok well that explains it all. Evidently, they don't like Californians. we did not let our dog run wild and we did not drive fast in there. The people they have working there, and the managers drive their golf carts way faster than the 5 mph speed limit. Oh, but we are from California, so the rules are different for us. Talked to a couple from south Dakota that were also moving out because the place was not as advertised . The health department will be next on my list of calls to make on this place. read more

Warning do not stay at tgis park . the maniger the guy is a pervert i stayed for two days ! I got so mad all tgat man did was star at my 8 year old girl he drive be alway stop trys to get her to get in his gulf cart for rides everytime for tge two days i stay he was always at the pool he just stared at the kids like a creep ! Finaly i got fed up i went to tge front desk to complain . well to find out his wife works there to ! I told her about it she told me i can leave at any time . i payed for a month !i told her i would like a refund but i would pay tge day rates for tge two days i was there she said they dnt give re funds for the safty of my little girl i left after the two days. We stayed here for a few months. There were several problems with them during this time. We found the place to be run down and very neglected. the laundry room is musty and run down, the dryers have to be run twice to dry the clothing. the shower rooms are dingy, dusty and outdated. The owners inherited the place and do very little to update the place. they just do needed maintenance. They are only open 10am-5pm during the week and the weekend hours are even shorter. If you have to report a problem or maintenance issue with caregivers after hours, you take your chances that they might yell at you. The owners will always take the side of the caregivers and do nothing to help the situation. There have been several complaints to them about the caretakers. They just don't care. Several campers have left and nothing changes. there are parks right down the road with the same rates and many more updated ammenities. Admirality has an adult hot tub and 2 dog parks.... read more

Road construction out front but that is not the fault of Tejas RV park but what is the fault of the park management is the lack of pet rules enforcement. We were planning on staying for a month and paid the monthly rate upon checking in. We really had no problem with the layout of the park or the site but we left early because as dog owners we could no longer stomach the mistreatment of dogs by the other owners. Some were left chained outside while the owners went to work or just didn't want to bring them inside...even during a thunderstorm. We became upset every time we walked our dogs and saw these poor creatures run out from under the RVs, whining for a little attention. My husband saw a puppy chained up outside and the rope was long enough for it to enter the road. I heard a dog crying for 15 or so minutes before I went out looking for it. I found the small dog tied to the gas tank with a chicken breast thrown on the ground but no water. I filled up the water bowl and the crying stopped but I was so upset by the encounter that I told my husband I wanted to leave. The management has no control over owners mistreating their pets but they do have control over who gets to stay at their park. By not enforcing the rules of no pets left outside unattended they are partially responsible for the mistreatment of these animals. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE! extremely unprofessional. The managers walk around drunk all day. They are hostile and belligerent. My dog got out and some drunk manager was yelling at me about it. It was an honest accident. There are lots of drug users here. I've seen police come here several times. The owner has spread untrue rumors about people that are absurd. RUN AWAY RUN AWAY!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND SCARING CONCERNING CHILDREN!!! Upon our arrival we were greeted by two very intoxicated personnel. That should have been a clue one for us to run. But my husband had stayed in this facility several times over the past 4 or 5 years. We were told to pick any spot in the park and our rate would be 405$ for the month. Upon taking the money to the office the next day we were told that the rate was $460 for a month and when I explained the rate we were quoted the previous night I was told that the two that we were greeted by and quoted by were only mowers....funny how that is because the park had not been maintained for some time. Grass was knee high in some places, the roads were washed away and non existent, it promises a dog walking area that is non existent because the grass is waist high. They advertise a convenient store that has no merchandise in it. The day after we paid we got a visit from one of the mowers that had quoted us the cheaper price telling us we had to move our trailer and cussing my husband because we told the owner that he quoted the cheaper price and get got in trouble for that. From there our visit went down hill. The mower proceeded to follow our children around the park (only when they were alone and not with a parent) and harassed and cuss them They would also drive by our site very slowly several times a day. When my husband went to ask what was going on and why he was harassing and cussing our kids the mower proceeded to cuss my husband and tell him if we didn't like we could leave. Him and the MANAGER got into my husbands face yelling screaming and cussing. I walked over and told my husband that I would take it up with the owner in the morning at which point the MANAGER charged me screaming and cussing that he was the manager and anything I had to say would be said to him not the owner. AT that point I said I would take it up with the owner and again this MANAGER charges me I had to back up very fast not to get hit. They refused to give us a refund and proceeded to follow us back to our site. The Sherriff had to be called out because the MANAGER hit my husband as he was taking a phone from his hand. The Sherriff got our money back and we left. As we were pulling out from the park these guys charge us kicking at our rv and vehicle and cussing and screaming. Very unsatisfying experience. we will be so much more careful when picking a site. I gave it a 1 star because the pool was kept up and the owner was friendly and nice. If all the staff there was like the owner it would make for a decent stay. In a time when children are being stolen, raped, ect ect I take exceptional defense when my children are being targeted by grown men and are not mature enough to deal with adults in an adult manner. AGAIN STAY AWAY FROM THIS PARK!!!!!!! WE WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN. Thank you to the BEXAR County Sheriff for all of their concern and help out of this very bad situation. Which by the way the Sheriff stated that they have had several calls out to this facility for the same thing. read more
