However, communication became very difficult after that. Calls often went to a full voicemail box, and I was unable to confirm a time for a rescheduled Sunday appointment. They were flexible with me possibly having to re-schedule my appointment at the last minute if the cable equipment had not arrived on time. The installation team arrived at the time promised. They were polite, clean and professional. They used shoe covers, which I appreciated. I bought my own bracket and they were very familiar with it. They even uncrated my 85" TV from my move, which required them unscrewing wooden boards -- much more work than simply opening a cardboard box. Then they measured precisely, putting guide tape on the wall that they removed without leaving any marks. They also cut a hole on the wall behind the TV to run the power cord behind the wall to the outlet near the floor. The work was professionally done and looked great. They ran all the cables along the bracket, which was important because the bracket and wall would be visible when I pulled the TV out and swiveled it to seen from the kitchen, dining room or the living room. The whole process took under an hour and they didn't seem to cut any corners. The estimate was not the least expensive I received, but I felt the thoughtful questions they asked before I even accepted their quote, indicated the attention to detail that I wanted -- and I was right. I can't say if all their teams work this well, but the one that came to my house was exceptional.

    I submitted a request for quote on Yelp to fix my front load Samsung washer. The door didn't…read morelatch/close. Hashmat responded instantly and was able to come by that afternoon. He was cordial, professional, and very easy to work with. Unfortunately, the part that was faulty needed to be ordered, but he was able to source it for us by the next day and coordinated with me to come by the next day. He was very knowledgeable and was able to fix it very quickly once the new part came in. It was a pleasure to work with Skillram and Hashmat in particular, I would not hesitate to call for their services again!

In the end, shady pricing and they cannot give you the reason/breakdown of the cost They are a bit pushy messaging everyday but the gentleman arrived promptly at the scheduled time which made up for it. He was friendly and communication was clear. The dishwasher ended up having a loose connection that was tightened but was a little moreccomplicated due to how the dishwasher was recessed (was previously replaced 2 years prior so it's not too difficult). The whole repair probably took a little over an hour and I expected to pay close to what the others quoted but to my surprise he was charging us a premium. When I questioned the price the gentleman stated he made a mistake and he quoted me the price he would of charged if he went out to source a part. Last I checked he never left the kitchen..? This kind of shady practice is why a lot of us consumers are weary and ask for up front pricing. I still ended up paying more than I would of but it was simply to end the contract. I cannot in good conscience recommend SkillRam. EDIT - Response to owner First of, no quote was provided beforehand and I can screenshot the whole conversation. Did you also forget that was the same conversation where you took the liberty to schedule 10am despite the fact that I clearly stated "anytime AFTER 12pm" forcing me to care for my child while balancing this repair. Second, the gentleman backtracked on the price when I questioned it and stated the $320 price was due to an extra charge to source parts. Please dont claim you are innocent because I have the receipts to prove my claim. What an awful way to do business. FINAL UPDATE Stop trying to edit your replies multiple times, you know I get a notification each time, right? Admit that you dropped the ball and were shady.
