I ate here with my parents recently. (My 1st visit) chips were very crisp, fresh, and flavorful. Had enchiladas & rice. Lots of filling. sauce on the enchiladas was a bit spicy but not overwhelming. (I'm not a spicy food person- so that's my take on it) waitress did say it was a bit spicy. Still managed to eat it all. Our server was very attentive. We will NEVER eat here again! This has been a favorite of ours because the food is good, but the treatment by servers and management is intolerable. Today was not the first time we have experienced rude staff but it will surely be the last! Our server Ashley O was so rude to my husband that he talked to a manager, who did nothing. Then she ignored us until she brought the bill. The owner was apparently on site because she told us that he said we were never to come back! We had no intention, at this point, of ever returning. I don't know how any business survives when they treat customers so badly. We have many other restaurants that will gladly accept our business and money! I wish there were a Zero Star option. read more

We moved to Diana in April; due to hubby's back surgery we haven't been to too many places. He finally got approval to go out. We decided to try our local eatery. We were pleasantly surprised. The hostess sat us immediately, our waitress Maria came to the table also immediately to get our drink orders. Maria brought our drink orders and took our orders. We both had Tina's (3) combo, both with ground beef tacos, one with a beef tamale & one with a beef enchilada. The tacos were excellent with fresh lettuce, tomatoes & onions. Maria had asked what sauce we would like for our tamale & enchilada. We both ordered the chili sauce, thinking it was a red sauce. Again pleasantly surprised because it was chili with beans, tasted wonderful. Maria checked on us several times with a beautiful friendly smile. Restaurant is clean, service was fast, staff were friendly and helpful. We will be back!! read more

Service is spectacular and the food is excellent. A great value for your money. They have a good call-in/drive-up window for carry out orders. I've eaten in a couple times and they have lots of seating and the ambiance is great. Definitely worth a trip to Diana, TX. read more

I was so disappointed in today's visit. The food was cold, the portions were small, and the chips were just a bunch of crumbs. The staff consisted of a whole bunch of young kids who were slacking off. There seemed to be a partying in the kitchen with a bunch of yelling, laughing, and cutting up going on. Our meal for two was $40 +. I left hungry and probably will not be going back. read more

Only real sit down restaurant in town. Always busy with good food and bar. Reasonable prices...

My boyfriend and I get take out often from Tele's in Diana! We've always been pleased and that causes us to return as much as we can! I would recommend this restaurant;-) read more

I have been to some crap restaurants in my life and trust me I have no clue why this place has 4 stars....I can only imagine it is because this is one of the crappiest towns to visit.....I would rather eat the uneaten food from an airplane that had been abandoned for 5 years then ever eat here again......this place makes chewing your own finger nails sound appetizing.....10000% the worst salsa ever and the refried beans taste a little worse than a sewer smells and the chicken that comes with the chicken fajitas is flavorless.....if I would rather kill myself then eat here again. With Teles, you get a consistently good meal - I like this location because it is close to our house, and also has a drive-through for pickup orders, which has proven itself so convenient! I like to get the Pechuga Tejana, which is served with veggies rather than beans. Overall, it's not my favorite Mexican place, but I've never left disappointed or unsatisfied. Lastly, it is QUICK! If you're looking for a good meal in a short timeline, this is the place for you! read more

Mr Tele makes excellent drinks!!! Great food! Awesome staff. I was never really a fan of eating at Teles until Now. The food taste so much better in the new restaurant. Speedy Service as always. I have noticed that service & quality do lack when Mr Tele isn't around. read more

My wife and I live in the area and have tried a lot of Mexican Restaurants. A few weeks ago we stopped at Tele's in Diana and it was great. The staff was very attentive and made us feel at home. Since then we have had a meal there each week and have taken relatives with us as well. It has been consistently good no matter what we order. read more

Stopped in on my way home from the doctor in Longview. Honestly was hoping I'd pass a Chick FIL A but who doesn't love Mexican? My waitress was super attentive and friendly, the tortilla soup was one of the best I have ever had, the chips were warm, the salsa was fresh with a little kick! Definitely will be back! read more

I have been to Tele's in Diana, TX a total of two times, and I must say, this place serves the best Mexican food in East Texas. One of the things that you will instantly find out about this place, is that the chips are super crispy, not greasy, and the salsa is superb. There is a warm salsa upon request, but be warned. It is very spicy! However, if you want warm salsa that is milder, they have that option. Some of the best dishes I have discovered so far is the Chimichanga, which is available in chicken, ground beef, or fajita steak, or the combination fajitas. Unlike other restaurants, when you order fajjitas here, they come out sizzling in the pan. Very nice! Beans and rice are very tasty and best of all, food is not greasy. Sizeable portions, fantastic service, and all wrapped up in a quintessential hole in the wall restaurant. read more

This is mine and my husbands favorite Mexican restaurant. The salsa is the best (they say they make it everyday, which i beleive cause i can eat spoonfuls of it!) and the staff is super friendly. Last night I had their "special" sun set fajitas which was chicken (or steak) with kind of a spicy queso on it and flour or corn tortillas. Their sweet tea is good! I usually get their quesadillas which are very good. The restaurant could use an update cause its kind of plain and and odd Mexican/ John Wayne decor, but the food makes up for the environment. read more
