Weeks passed by and I didn't hear anything. I called and he said he hadn't gotten to it yet. I waited again and left a few messages. After no response, I dropped by (45 min round trip). He said he lost the repair tag, so I filled out another tag. More waiting with no update. I was able to get him on the phone and he said he was acid washing the carb. I remind him that he said he would give me an estimate before doing any work. Back to waiting, but then life goes on and I didn't follow up. Fast forward over a year later to today. I decided I would show up and take back my tractor. The overgrown front yard is littered with "repair items", including my tractor. The hood was removed, leaving the engine open to the elements. It looked just like every other forgotten piece equipment that other customers left with him. Sean appeared and I reminded him who I was. His excuse was that he lost my repair tag because "sorry but my tags aren't weatherproof"! I dropped off a tractor that had some value to me. I expected to know within a week or two if he could fix it. If not, then say so, and I would have picked it up and sold it. Instead it is a total loss, and is now part of the Harvest Lawnmower Repair graveyard. Before you consider this business, check out my photos.
