Wonderful experience! My dad's refrigerator broke a day before Memorial Day weekend and I was in a panic trying to find a business that could replace it quickly. Most that I called, were not very nice on the phone & they said he would have to wait almost a week to get a new one since they were booked & busy. I called CT&A and spoke to Mike who was very friendly & helpful. He told me if we placed the order by noon, he could assure delivery by Saturday (only two days). I had him call my dad to go over specifics and he told him to expect a call on Saturday to notify him of the time of arrival. I was worried due to traffic & weather that they might be delayed, but Michael & Standre came over to my Dad's house at 10:30 am and replaced the refrigerator with a brand new one. It fit perfectly in the space and they kindly helped my dad remove its contents and put trash in the garage. They also had to remove a door to fit it into the kitchen but put it back even better than before as it used to be a little loose on the hinges. They could not have been kinder and more sensitive to my dad. I am really impressed with the sales team (Mike) , the delivery experience (Michael & Standre) & the overall level of service & reliability. Great experience in buying a new Sub Zero fridge online, and locally. I was browsing the website and had an online chat with Craig where I was given all the pricing and stock info with no pressure. I later called, and Craig is a real human with a great knowledge. It was a painless purchase process, and Craig coordinated the delivery, installation and removal. Had an unfortunate incident with them, where my fridge i purchased, the door is stopped by a wall. The fridge is perfect, I just didn't take into account the door's length. They don't have a return policy for fridges after it's installed, and I should have measured things much better, my fault for sure but, they literally did nothing to help me in this matter. It was several days later that they told me they can't do anything about it, allegedly emailing me (not sure why they didn't call me) but i never received an email. But what are any alternatives, or solutions that can help me out? Can I swap the door? replace the door with double doors? Home Depot has a 48 hour return policy. I talked to Associated Appliance, a local competitor, and they would have taken it back and replaced it, with some fees to do so. I'm now trying to figure out how to fix this on my end. I do want to point out that I should have been better prepared but I was completely ghosted and left in the dark with the aftermath. read more

SERVICE WORSE THAN YOUR CABLE COMPANY: We have been without a washing machine since June (It is now August 3) After two futile repair calls that included an incomplete diagnosis of the problem, we were convinced to buy a new machine from "County." However, the installer of the new machine did not check that everything was operating correctly before he left, and we discovered subsequently that the machine only operated on the "Hot" cycle. County claimed that no one was available to fix the problem for several days to fix the problem they had created. A service call was finally scheduled for yesterday for arrival anytime within a four hour period. We adjusted our schedules to be at home during this timel. However, the service folks did not show up. No one called to say that they were not coming or might be late. The service appointment is now scheduled for today, and we are 7th on the list, even though they created the original problem, missed yesterday, and a County TV truck is already in our neighborhood less than 100 yards from our place. No explanation has been given as to why we are not #1 on the list today, given the missed appointment yesterday, so we have to continue to wait. Notably, no one accepts personal responsibility for any of the problems, blaming them on a computer algorithm. In our view, the computer programmer may have some responsibility, but the original installer, the serviceman, and his manager are more to blame. read more

We recently purchased a Wolf Sub Zero and a Wolf Range from County TV and Appliance. When the Sub Zero was delivered it had a dent in the door which took 2 months for them to replace. In the process of fixing the door the refrigerator broke and are still waiting for them to fix it! When we got the range they forgot to bring the attached shelf. When they came back (a week later) they brought the wrong part. When they came back a third time (again a week later) the part was installed but is incredibly shaky! Terrible customer service & sales. No accountability. They will sooner "cya" than make it right for the customer. Salespeople are egregiously ignorant of their products and installation, there is scant communication within the company, and customer service is not properly trained to handle repair and lemon issues. We've bought several appliances from county over the past 10 years. The most recent two, both of which were damaged out of the box, took both a YEAR (GE Monogram fridge) and 3 MONTHS (brand new bosch dishwasher) respectively to "repair" and replace. Installation and repair services are outsourced and less than thorough. Never purchasing from county again. I recommend you look elsewhere for your next appliance purchase. read more

This is our second time buying an appliance at County Appliance. The first experience was so-so. While their selection of appliance brands and models is fine, their delivery and installation services leave much to be desired. This time, we ordered a washing machine and specifically inquired as to what installation fees we would incur. The salesman told us the only fee would be $50 for removal of the old appliance. He told us that their delivery personnel were County Appliance employees so no extra installation fees would be incurred as is often the case with Home Depot and other such stores that farm out their delivery. When the product was delivered, the delivery guy recommended changing the washing machine shut off valve, saying it was corroded and it would be a big problem if it started to leak. This seemed like a sales job and a bit of an exaggeration since it wasn't currently leaking. But it was a slightly corroded and it seemed like a quick fix, so we said ok. He never quoted a cost and never told us he was going to replace it as his own work - not as part of the installation service from County Appliance. He took about 5 minutes to replace the valve and then charged us $225 for the job: $175 labor (for 5 minutes!) and $50 for the valve ($35 - $40 on most online sites.) I called up County Appliance while he was finishing the rest of the washing machine installation and asked why we were being charged so much for this. I could understand charging for the valve but not for literally 5 minutes of work. The salesman I spoke with didn't seem to know anything about such installation charges and said that it's probably a service the delivery guy is providing separate from delivery and installation. That was a baffling response, especially since the delivery guy recommended the valve replacement in order to facilitate proper installation. The final problem was that after charging us an exorbitant amount for 5 minutes of installation work, the guy couldn't even finish the installation because the water drain hose was too short. He didn't have an extender piece to attach, so the installation was left unfinished. When I called County Appliance to complain, I spoke to the same salesman who then told me this installation issue wasn't something he handled and I should contact somebody else in the store. He made no effort to address the issue and didn't even offer to put me in touch with someone who could. I told this salesman we were planning to replace three other appliances that were all around 10 years old and we would never consider going to County Appliance again. Who would ever want to shop again at an appliance store with such terrible installation services, terrible customer service, and sales reps who think they're not responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction? read more

Purchased a couple things from County this past year. Always professional , knowledgeable, and friendly. I equate it to getting something from crutchfield. Yes, if you split hairs, you might be able to find something mildly cheaper at a big box store, but because everyone in the store knows a lot about the product and the service is always smooth, I would rather give my hard earned money to a retailer that I know is giving good information, and I am confident I walk out with exactly what I needed. When our old air conditioner decided it was getting time to die, I did some price checking and started a n online chat with Alex from County. He had all the answers I needed, the price was fair as was the delivery charge. We settled on a Saturday delivery, then I got a call Friday afternoon. Bad news...he apologized and said that the item had been damaged in the warehouse and was in now way guaranteed to work. they had ordered a new one, and could deliver it Wednesday if that was ok. Well, it was and right in the delivery window we got a call they were on the way and would be delivering it shortly. they hauled this 10,000 btu monster up the 2 flights of stairs and made sure it had all the parts, cleaned everything up and took away our old one. The AC is working beautifully (we have horrible airflow in our apartment) and this experience, from start to finish was exceptional. Great people, great service. They exceeded our expectations...by a mile and a half. We not only would not hesitate to use them again, but will be glad to tell everyone we know about this experience. Great job. Melissa was great and was able to help me get a wonderful dishwasher after I had called other appliance showrooms who were of no help whatsoever. My current and very expensive [but 9 year old dishwasher] was too complicated and costly to repair, I made the decision with my appliance repair person, whom I trust and have worked with for several years, to just replace the dishwasher [german made] with a better dishwasher all together that I am going to be incredibly happy with. Thank you, County TV and Appliance for having someone like Melissa who really worked with me so expertly and had, in stock, the best dishwasher that I wanted when no one else had it and could not get it because other showrooms said it was "backlogged" and could not get it for several weeks. I bought a very expensive Thermador wall oven..my sales associate Gabriella had pics of my old oven model number and serial number and said "no problem it will fit" after a ridiculous delivery situation.. one guy shows up to take oven out of wall then another guy brings new oven and then 3 hours later guy comes back to install and at 6:30 pm I find out this oven doesn't fit.. my old oven was a flush fit this one wasn't.. sales associate should of known this.. they took the oven out of my home, they took my old oven and won't give it back to me and manager refuses to give my deposit back.. the whole situation is beyond unacceptable .. sent an email to the owner we'll see what he will do to make this right.. I had to call Amex to let them know what happened.. they are reviewing this issue.. in 40 years of owning homes I have never had this happen.. I live in a gated community who recommended this company just sorry I took their recommendation.. they clearly have sales people who don't know their products.. read more

Before you buy from County TV and AppIiance please consider my experience: I purchased a Thermador oven on February 13, 2022, paying County TV and Appliance an $8,000 deposit. I was told to expect delivery in two-to-three months. In fact it was not delivered for ten months. At no point did I receive a satisfactory explanation for the delay. When the oven finally arrived, I discovered it was not self-cleaning. This was never explained when I made the purchase. I would not have bought it if County TV had been honest about this. Since then the oven has developed a major flaw: the sensors on the oven door have literally melted making the oven inoperable. Its hood took 19 months to be delivered. Again, the delay was never explained. Now County TV is threatening to put a lien on our house despite the fact the oven is fully paid for. read more

Someone from County TV called me the other day & wanted to talk about replacing the broken Microwave but kept insisting the reason it was broken was due to being installed incorrectly and even said that the repair shop said the same thing. Spoke with the repair shop & the repairman and the MICROWAVE WAS INSTALLED CORRECTLY. What Ultrawiz Electronics did say was that they could not remove the microwave from the wall when they first came out and that they had to replace the main PC Board ( Attached Picture) After trying to explain to County TV employee who called that it was installed correctly, he says to me " I am not giving you nothing" then hung up the phone !! "Patrick, the same evening as my response on 11/19, Sean called your wife and told her that we will replace defective microwave with a new one, once the current microwave ( which is installed incorrectly) once it is de installed. You can upgrade if you want something different. Can be done in 1 hour. Payment via credit card and delivery is set up. Installers and delivery workers are amazing. So easy from start to finish. I like to use local businesses because they have a reputation to keep up. It was the right thing to do, especially in this case. We purchased a fridge from County, and the freezer went haywire. They replaced the unit at no cost. But the replacement fridge temperature's were all over the map. Pandemic didn't just affect the supply chain! It also affected quality. Once again, County stepped up. They replaced the replacement at no cost -- this time a different brand -- charging for delivery only. That's service! read more

This time i gave them a shot and I found Mike, my salesman, to be easy, honest and the one who desired my business most. He beat the price given to me by Planet. Associated match him, so he beat them as well. My cost ended up being about 20-25% total lower than the big box store. Everything was delivered and installed as promised and the delivery guys were fast and extremely knowledgeable. They did not leave until they were sure that everything was in working order.
