Each round gets a little more aggressive. This location quoted $200 more to clone a hard drive before replacing it (going from a factory spinner to solid state). This process involves inserting the new memory stick into an enclosure, selecting source, destination and clone in the software, letting it run 20 minutes, test booting from it, and removing the memory stick from the enclosure. The work is so trivial that most shops include it with the swap quote. Other shops charge about $10 for the incremental labor involved.

The service: the support guys seems to try to be very communicative. However, often times information provided to you may seem contradictory or confusing. You may have several different people reaching out to you that you don't know providing updates and information on your device with private information. The price: I'm not sure what the going rate is for a charge, battery, or DC jack, but I paid I over $400. I felt like I was bamboozled a lil bit. Overall, my laptop was at this shop from about Oct 25, 2022 to Novemeber 23, 2022. If you know that you need a quick fix and this location can do the job quickly, I'd definitely try Tech Support.

Also failed to notify me twice that they kept the parts to my computer without me knowing. One was brand new RAM and the other was the power cord I gave them to use on my PC. Attached is the messages exchanged on text following my request for it back. (More details in last paragraph). I came in after requesting that they do a BIOS update on my computer because I didn't have time to do it that week and needed it ASAP. Was willing to pay ridiculous price because what was happening in my life. It's a simple task but they ended up blaming the issue on my BRAND NEW out of the box CPU and gave it back to me. (BIOS update is still possible btw even if that was the case). Charged me $100 just to not fix anything or do what was agreed upon, on top of leaving my PC in a MESS. CPU cooler wasn't screwed on and smashed around the case as I walked out. The following messages are from a few days after the appointment I had with them. At this point I was getting ready to set up the pc and fix it myself then realized the cord was missing. After I told him I needed my cord back I called him a second time and he says "You left it here" right before picking up. On the phone he pretends like he doesn't see anything laying around and says I never left anything there despite just telling me I left it, through text, 2 seconds before picking up. At this point I had already driven down there twice. First time to get my pc, the second to take back my RAM. In the text you can literally see how he's trying to deny that he confirmed it was there, despite highlighting his text TWICE. Went there and got some cheap plastic cord. The owner had the audacity at that point to say "that's what they left." I just walked out. Looked up the brand and it was a knock off Amazon one. Look through the messages guys, it's at the very least evidence that there is no accountability here. I have nothing to gain from this review, just want to warn potential customers and save y'all money.

EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE: My Samsung 20S FE 5G is approx 5 years old. The battery had gotten tired…read moreand was discharging very fast and the charging port was loose. I took it to Computer Doctors for repair. Shawn did a great job of changing out both parts and was done the same afternoon. It wasn't his fault but the new charging port card was faulty in that the fingerprint sensor wasn't functioning after the replacement. I ordered another one (overnighted) in case he didn't have an extra and went back right away. He opened up the phone and checked the connection as I stood and watched and then checked 2 other replacement parts of the same type and also the one I ordered and brought in. All were faulty from the factory or at least incompatible with the fingerprint sensor. We know this to be true because he saved the part he took out last week (amazingly) and put it back in and the fingerprint sensor now works again. He did this extra work for free right then and there. He also only charged for one of the repairs since he was going to have the phone opened anyway. Bottom line - he did a great job, was prompt, nice, and insisted on doing everything possible to fix my phone even though Samsung has made that not viable but that's Samsung's fault. He did bring it to my attention that my phone has wireless charging and sold me a puck style charger for the low price of $20. It works great. The new battery holds a charge all day now. Anyway - I'm good to go for a few more years. I highly endorse Computer Doctors if you have any computer or phone repair problems. They have been in the same location for over 20 years and will go above and beyond the call of duty to solve your problem.

I am so thankful that we found this place! The manager Shawn helped my son with the explanation of repairs needed and costs. I stopped by to discuss the MacBook and Shawn was very informed and kind. Sometimes talking tech is uncomfortable but this was easy! I asked him for a few options of what I could do to cut cost and he ran them all for me... so I could make the best decision. The work will be done pretty quickly 2-3 day turn around. They sell refurbished computers, work on cell phones, fix items for electronic stores, and work on gaming systems. If you are in need of tech help give them a call... Shawn said they also have a location in Mansfield!
