I bought a fridge from Home Depot on Dec.14 as my old one died. For some reason Temco had my phone number from 10 years ago, even though Home Depot (who I ordered through) had my current number on the order. So I was waiting for a phone call about the delivery that never came. I couldn't look up any info about my order via Temco because I had no idea it was attached to my old phone number and they said they could only look it up by the number. After about 2 hours and multiple calls to different people at Home Depot and Temco one guy at HD finally figured it out. Then it turned out that they tried to deliver the fridge but my driveway was too steep so they left and would have to make a new appointment to return with a smaller truck. When that 2nd appt came (on Dec. 22) the delivery guys were great and I gave them a good review and a decent tip. However they said they didn't have room to take my old fridge with them that day, but that I would get a call in 7-10 days. After I hadn't heard from anyone after 11 or 12 days (thought I'd give them time due to holidays) I called Temco and they said the appointment for pick up had never been made, so I had to make a new one. I did and stressed several times that the truck needed to be smaller due to my driveway, they claimed to make a notation on that. On the day the before the old fridge was to be picked up I still hadn't heard from them. Day of supposed pickup and was waiting around, wasting my Saturday, finally got a call saying that the driver had a family health emergency, but that they'd come and get it on Sunday (even though they don't usually work Sundays). Sunday, same thing, waiting and waiting. Try calling the office and I get a recording that they'd closed that day, so can't get through to a person. Finally get in touch with someone on Monday and they claim that it's weird no one picked up on Sunday because they were there in the office (?). They have to make a new appointment for pick up. I again reiterate that they need a small truck and double check that they have the correct phone number. Haul away day comes and I'm waiting (the window is 7:30am-11:30am). I get a text around 11:30 that they are 20 minutes away. Over an hour goes by and no show. I call the number and leave a message and get a text saying their truck broke down, but they'll be here in 5 minutes. I finally see them at the top of my driveway and then see them start to drive away and text "where are you going?". They say the truck is too big and they can't get down the driveway. So I tell them to come back and convince them to walk down the driveway and get the fridge and wheel it up (it was a smaller than usual size fridge). They do and then drive off leaving a cardboard beer box in the road from their truck. This company sucks and if Home Depot continues to use them then I will not be ordering anything from them again. read more

Ordered a new refrigerator from Home Depot November 29th and it was delivered on December 29th a wait of only 30 days. With today's supply line issues that is a miracle! It was very easy to keep track of the order and the delivery company was wonderful in keeping us informed. We got text messages, calls and a pre-delivery call and they showed up right on time and the installation went smoothly. The men who delivered it were friendly professional and answered all our questions in a very helpful manner. Home Depot chose a very good company to do its deliveries. read more

Is there zero stars? I had a delivery set for Tuesday for a refrigerator. They missed it without calling me. I chalked it up to an error. It was rescheduled through Home Depot for Friday 1230 to 430 pm. Friday comes around. They don't show again. I call and they tell me that delivery man showed up but I wasn't home. Nevertheless, I've been sitting at my house all day with the front door open. This company is not to be trusted. They lie. Home Depot should get another company to deliver their refrigerators. I also went to my doorbell camera and saved the footage evidencing that they never showed up at my house. Temco is a major joke. Lowe's next time. read more

Delivered new refrigerator ordered from Home Depot last week on the day they were supposed to deliver, that's why they get at least one star, they failed at just about everything else. They were supposed to unhook my old refrigerator from water line then hook up the new one, then haul the old one away. They didn't do any of this on day of delivery. They said they couldn't unhook the old one because when they did, the water line leaked, and this meant they couldn't take the old one away. They also said they couldn't hook up the new fridge because the part didn't fit with my water line and they needed to get another part. The guy doing the install said that sometimes this happens and he has parts on his truck but not any that fit my situation, then he said he didn't have time to run to get the part but I could get the part and call them back another day. I'm not a plumber, I had no idea what part was needed, I stated this and they just acted like I was crazy because I was saying they needed to get the part and do the install. I live in a small condo, this was a side by side fridge and freezer, pretty large not apartment size, they were going to leave both fridges taking up a lot of space, or take new fridge away and I was told by Home Depot it could take weeks to get my refund. Huh?!! I gave up, opted to put the new fridge in my dining room which meant my dining room was unusable for a week, no room. The old fridge also leaked all over the place, it was a mess. That same night, I had a friend of a friend who was a plumber come look at it. He said the water line leaked because they didn't turn it off all of the way, and the part was a small simple part that was easily attainable, he had one in his truck and this happens a lot with new refrigerators and they should have been able to take care of it. Another friend who has done appliance deliveries in the past said the same thing. So be aware when you order a new refrigerator with water dispenser and ice maker this can happen. I had even spoken with the Home Depot appliance delivery department before I had this delivered to make sure I had everything I needed for the install, they said I did just to make sure I had a shut off valve for water line nearby. I did but they didn't shut it off properly. I would think this would be basic knowledge for someone doing a plumbing/appliance install, to know how to shut off a valve on a water line properly. I was able to do it. I turned it until I couldn't turn it anymore later that night when I asked was there any special way to turn the valve off and the guy helping me showed me, just turn it all the way off. It took another week to get them to put me on the schedule to remove the old refrigerator, while it leaked almost the whole time, and they came in the afternoon. Absolutely no sense of urgency. The same guys came and commented on how the new fridge was installed. I told them how simple it was, they replied in agreement of how simple a thing it really was, like "Oh yeah, so simple." I swear I thought I was losing my mind, it felt like an alternative universe or something, similar to how it felt on the day they delivered it and were telling me to figure it out myself, even though I had specifically contracted them to do it. When I mentioned the fact that they didn't turn the water line off all of the way and that's why it leaked, all they said was "Oh." Then they were all up in arms about the fact that my leaking fridge was going to be hauled across my carpet. It was just such a farce. I just told them to hurry up and get it out of my house and just please let me be done with all of this. It's gone, it's over. I will never order another appliance from Home Depot. I did, btw, contact Home Depot and got the run around from them as well on the day of delivery, which is why I gave up and sought my own solution. read more

Terrible. Scratched my floors and instead of telling me, tried to get me to sign off on damages with a hand written note on receipt. I got suspicious and went and checked out the stairs. Scratched in two places. I said, "Guys, this is not ok." He threatens to pull the newly installed washing machine out and says well you can refuse service. I said that does nothing to fix the stairs. They delivered our fridge within appointment hours, and called 15min ahead. They were very careful to move out the old fridge and brought in the new one, made sure not dent any wall and corners. Before they left, they left us good instructions and made sure everything work right. read more

My experience was the same as Stacy A. (see her post). When Temco employee "Victor" delivered my dishwasher, apparently he did not wish to install it. He said that the shut off valve in my kitchen was the wrong size, and i first needed to have a plumber replace it. When the plumber came, he said that Victor had Lied to me. The shut-off valve was the correct size and worked properly. He even attached the hose ans photographed it to prove this. If this plumber had not been honest, it would have cost me $215 for a new valve, in addition to the plumber's $100 fe.. As it is, the delay installation still did cost me time and money.. I had to hake a second day off from work (without pay) for a new Temco team to come and install the dishwasher. Even the people in the office kept telling me different stories about why Victor could not install the dishwasher. And when I asked for an address to write to Temco, they gave me a bogus address and bogus names for managers!! I have written to Home Depot to complain about Temco, and I hope that everyone else who has a problem with them will do the same. read more

My story: Temco showed up at my door unannounced in a huge, unmarked truck wanting to deliver an appliance i did not order! And in doing so they drove off the driveway and caused thousands of dollars in property damage. I tried to be nice and only asked for $500 to cover it. They scoffed at it, and offered $50 for all my damages, so I sued them. They dragged it out for more than 8 months and finally, 3 days before the trial date, offered to settle for the full amount of the suit only because they did not want the losing judgment on their record. These people are as bad as they come. Home Depot is nuts to keep them on. read more

They did a fine job delivering my refrigerator and getting it set up. The only thing that I didn't appreciate was that they broke one of my outside flower pots and didn't say anything about it. I happened to notice it later when i went out by the front walk. read more

We have a delivery by another vendor earlier in the month the difference was immeasurable. We were afraid of how this delivery would go based on our previous experience. The delivery/service men were professional and did an excellent job carrying in our refrigerator. They handled the fridge like it was a newborn baby. They knew exactly what they were doing and connected the fridge to the water line. They were kind, considerate and wore ppe to keep us all safe. read more

If there was an option for a negative number of stars, I'd use it today. We purchased a dishwasher through a company that uses Temco for delivery and installation. They delivered the dishwasher as promised but it unfortunately did not work properly and made an incredibly loud rattle when it ran (they did not test it before they left). We called the store that day and they offered to coordinate a replacement to be sent out right away. A week later, the new dishwasher arrived but had two huge dents in the front door so we had to refuse delivery. About a week and a half later, the third dishwasher arrived, but this one had a huge dent in the edge of the door and hinge so it would have leaked water, so we had to refuse delivery. At this point we gave up and told the store we just wanted our money back and we wanted them to come get the first (faulty) dishwasher. About a week later, we were scheduled for pickup and I stayed home all day waiting for them (if you're keeping track, this is my FOURTH day sitting home in a month to try to get a functional dishwasher!). I finally called in the afternoon to find out where they were and learned that they'd "been to my house at 11AM". However, by looking my house up on google maps, they figured out they had been to the WRONG house but now, of course, it was too late for them to come get it. Along the way, I asked them five times to change the phone number in our record from my husband's number to mine. Each time they said they would, but they continued calling him instead of me for scheduling, updates, etc. This is one of the worst companies I've ever worked with and I encourage you to make sure your appliance store does NOT use them for delivery before you make a purchase. I wish I could give this terrible company ZERO stars! We've never had a worst customer service experience in our lives! We bought a range, refrigerator and dishwasher from Home Depot to be delivered to our property in Lake Arrowhead, CA. The day before they were supposed to be delivered, Temco arbitrarily changed the delivery date to one week later without notifying us. If I hadn't checked the status of the delivery, I never would have seen they had made the change based on nothing more than a rainy forecast. Because we don't live there full time, we had to make expensive changes to our travel schedule to be there one week later. Calls to the manager of Temco were ignored and he never returned any of our messages. Repeated calls to the managers at Home Depot were fruitless; he wouldn't speak to them either! We were told we'd receive updates by phone the day before the second scheduled delivery date. That never happened. We had to call them and were in hold for over an hour. We had repeatedly requested a morning delivery time but, no surprise, they scheduled it for the afternoon time slot and on the morning of the delivery we found out our stop was the 15th off the truck! When the driver finally showed up, he took one look at the small hill to our property and LEFT! He wouldn't answer our calls or texts. Let me state clearly: we've had many furniture deliveries from large trucks and they have never had an issue with the hill leading up to our house! We received a call saying they would need to reschedule the delivery for ONE WEEK LATER! The driver was simply lazy and didn't want to take the time to make a little more effort to back up a straight hill. After countless hours on the phone with Home Depot managers and trying to get through to a person at Temco, travel plans made and changed based on broken appointments, we called the Home Depot manager and canceled our purchase. We then went to Lowes, spent thousands of dollars on the appliances and got great service. I wouldn't recommend anyone buying appliances from Home Depot in the LA area because of this terrible service and even worse delivery company! read more

I bought a dishwasher from Home Depot. When it was delivered, I was told that I would have to hire a plumber to fix the water valve under the sink. Apparently, it was stuck open. So, the dishwasher was placed on my patio, and I was given a number to call to reschedule the installation. I called my plumber, and when he arrived he said that there was nothing wrong with the valve. It opened and shut without any problem. My plumber installed the dishwasher and left. My take on this situation was that the Temco team really didn't want to install the dishwasher. It was the end of the day and, they were in and out in 10 minutes. Looking at the other reviews, I can see a pattern here. Buyer beware! read more

We had a great experience with our Temco delivery guys - they were so friendly and helpful! They actually called to see if they could arrive early since they had a couple cancellations - it worked out perfect! It was a refrigerator, and they took great care in taking off all the wrapping, etc. They used all safety precautions and wore their masks, as mandated by the company. Stay away if possible! This company is the worst of the worst! They showed up at my house at 7:30am - How do I know the exact time you ask? Because I saw them on my security cameras - They called to ask if I could send someone by to open the door and sign (which was nice I guess) I asked them to just leave it at the door and of course she said they could not which I totally understand... They don't want to be responsible for items being stolen... Ok I get it - I actually didn't have an issue with none of that. HERE IS WHERE THE PROBLEM STARTED - The girl then proceeded to tell me that I REQUESTED this day and time for delivery when in fact I had NEVER spoken to anyone!!!!!! She say's "well it's confirmed here" They LIED!!! Like who does this! Are we in elementary school! Were you going to get into trouble or something?? i was very skeptical with Temco after reading the review, but i already bought the items from home depot so i figured why not. I should've trust other reviewer. This company is horrible. Our delivery guy was great but the company itself is NOT. We have our fridge delivered in the morning , they installed and after couple hours , it started leaking all over our hardwood floor. We called them back and they picked it up to replace it. The delivery guy said that we will be receiving call in 24 hrs. NONE. I called to check , and jesse the customer service was rude . We were trying to understand the whole process but she was just not pleasant to work with. Basically we will have to wait until The manufacture call again which possible take a week . then wait for another fridge to be sent. Who knows when we will be getting our fridge.. And while it was much faster to just cancel and buy a new one. What disappointed me is how she handled this situation . Can't rate them at zero, giving 1 star unwillingly, which is a very high rating for this company. Poor customer service, lack of progress after four attempts, still no W/D delivery after 3 weeks. 1. 1st attempt; recommended tap replacements in the unit, suggested Flexible vent part. Bought all necessary parts for 2nd attempt delivery. 2. 2nd attempt; uninstalled, and took old W/D, and unpacked new W/D but it was damaged. No W/D at home 3. 3rd attempt; scheduled for delivery, made us to wait, and missed to deliver. They did not inform us ahead, and we found only after calling them about a no-show after 4-hour wait. 4. 4th attempt; delivery guys complaining that the unit is in 2nd floor, and power cord length. Delivery personnel were unwilling to put effort, took W/D back. No old W/D or no new W/D. Horrible service, lack of empathy, waste of time, etc. There are so many 1-star poor customer service reviews on this company, still, they are on the Costco independent contract delivery. read more

This company is complete crap! No other word sums them up better. Good luck ever getting anything delivered on time. I've been rescheduled three times already and still have not received my refrigerator. I was told there was Saturday delivery available, but every time I request it, they can't do it. As a result, I'm having to constantly miss work, wasting my time on a company that never delivers. I cannot for the life of me understand why Home Depot uses them, but you can bet I will never buy another appliance from Home Depot anymore if this is the company they use for delivery. CRAP! CRAP!
