I love our farmer's market! I usually go to the one at the mall on Wednesdays. It's less crowded. If you go earlier, around 9:00 or 9:30 am, You get the freshest fruits and vegetables. The prices are a little high but it's well worth it to support our local farmers. The fruits and veggies are always nice and fresh. There aren't nearly as many vendors on Wednesdays but if you are just going for fruits and vegetables you won't be disappointed. Angel Farms is my favorite vendor but I do like them all. Atkins nursery from Fallbrook comes down and they always have local avocados. read more

It is clearly pretty overpriced buuuut, shopping local beats supporting huge grocery stores, riiight?! The fruit and veggie stands looked very fresh and everyone was very friendly! My one "pet peeve" tho, why so many dogs around when I'm trying to get fresh produce sans dog fur? Gross... they have a "No Dogs Allowed" sign at one of the entrances but perhaps they should invest in multiple signs and hopefully the irresponsible dog owners will follow directions. read more

Stumbled into this little market on a Saturday morning and was sooo happy I did! We visited Temecula the week before Christmas and got so many amazing Christmas gifts here. The bird house man is awesome! He hand carves bird houses and they are so great! Visited the basket shop, and got an incredible deal on cute straw baskets. The flower/plant stand that is based in Oceanside had the most beautiful plants! Super helpful and knowledgeable. Overall so happy to have stumbled here, really wasn't anticipating attending this farmers market! I didn't even sample any food so next time I must! read more

Every time I come to Temecula, I have to stop by the Temecula downtown farmers market. They always have the freshest of what is in season. I found delicious kale and spinach. Lemons I found a wonderful honey in a gorgeous bottle. I believe it's called the beehive. They have dips and chips and avocado , olive oil and pastries and of course they have my favorite dates!!! I can't remember the name of the company, but I usually buy 3 pounds of dates from this guy and I go home and I freeze them if I don't end up giving them away right away. It's one of my favorite activities in Temecula in the morning . read more

Old Town Temecula Farmer's Market was a fun experience, with numerous vendors providing quick eats, hand-made wares, and fresh produce for sale. I've came on two different occasions so far, and it's definitely fun to look around if you're in the area. I've had the Chocolate Elfroy from Chaupain Bakery. It's their most popular item and consists of a croissant with vanilla custard, chocolate chips and almonds (3.5/5). It's very sweet and heavy, so prepared to skip a meal if you eat one! The California Surfer crepe from La Creperie was also very tasty (4/5); the ABCs (avocado, bacon, cheese) was a savory breakfast combo that works well in crepes and omelettes. I do think it can be a bit pricey here, so be prepared to spend least $20. There's a bit of a price mark up for the fruits like strawberries, which was about $12-16 versus $8 at your local Costco. Overall, a fun weekend activity if you like checking out local vendors and farmers markets! read more

Conveniently close to the freeway. Free street parking or if super crowded there are some pay lots. Nice and free restroom right there a few feet away. There were all kinds of vendors. Plenty of food, drink, coffee options to choose from. There was a pastry vendor with the line wrapped around to another aisle. Vendors were friendly, trying to get your attention to stop and peruse their goods and services. Ambiance is nice, it is in a lot in old town near lots of other businesses, near a main street, it is definitely one of the nicer farmers markets and then you can walk around old town too. Well I forgot to take pictures which means I will just have to go back (oh shucks :)) We had just walked in from the Fire station side when we were immediately drawn to the tantalizing smell of fresh baked empanadas from Nora's Empanadas so we snagged a few. Doggy jerky for my fur-child, fresh fruit of course, sampled Buzz Mead and took home a couple of cans. The olive oil samples was yummy. Lots of options, lots of families. Great place to shop, and all the vendors we interacted with were wonderful, great service. Definitely a well spent morning. read more

This is a fun and very well laid-out farmers market. It actually has a lot of great offerings. Some of which you may not expect. This is a fairly large farmers market. They offer all the fruit and veggies and the other packaged food items that you may expect from a farmers market. They also, generally, have a nice selection of plants, cactus, and succulents, if you need something to plant in your garden. Though the sellers always change at this market, you will most probably be able to pick up a few interesting drink and food items if you wish to grab a snack or to take something home for later. We bought jelly from a man selling peanut butters and jelly's, he says it's all natural, and we pay 18 dollars for 2 tiny jars and when we get home I realize the strawberry one isn't even made with strawberries- it's made with strawberry juice. Totally feel like we got ripped off and they came up with a "fool the customer" way to sell jelly without actually using strawberries or actual fruit. This is why I don't love the farmers market, the jelly I can get at Sam's club or Costco is far superior to this product I paid wayyyyy too much for. Steer clear, Costco has quality products made with wholesome ingredients unlike some of these vendors trying to prey on the farmers market vibe for people to get ripped off. read more

One of my favorite farmers markets that's I've been to. I loved coming here on Saturdays for fresh fruits, veggies and hummus. It was organized and easy to find what you were looking for. Everything was fresh, I never had issues with that. Vendors were really friendly, and prices were awesome. Saved a bunch of money going to the Farmer's Market. It would draw in a pretty decent crowd of people, but it was never overly crowded or anything like that. I wish more Farmer's Markets were like this one. read more

This place is seriously a little gem in the heart of Old Town, right across of the fire station. It was beyond hot today which made walking in the crowd a little unbearable (especially while wearing a mask) but, can't wait to go back earlier one day! There were so many vendors (majority wore face masks and some also wore gloves) and I was impressed by the variety of items for sale. Things get pricy and all vendors accept different forms of payment from cash only to checks, card, and sometimes Venmo. Also if you use a card, some vendors charge a processing fee without telling you. There were crafts, masks, lotions, soaps, fresh flowers, fruits, veggies, honey, sauces, jerky, baked goods, cold pressed juices, teas, and a variety of food vendors just to name some off the top of my head. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, while not everyone wore masks (maybe 90%) everyone remained respectful and kept their distance. The only downfall would be finding parking! I had to circle for a bit before I found a little lot across City Hall. Wasn't sure if I could park there, but I didn't get towed. Would recommend this market over the one at the mall! read more

It had been years since we went to this farmer's market. We decided to hit it up and check on the fresh fruits and vegetables. It used to be that you could get great deals on fruits and vegetables at farmer's markets, but that was not the case here. The prices, overall, were just as much or more expensive than at the grocery store. Sure, if one could guarantee these items were actually locally grown, thus "fresher" per se, then it would be worth the purchase (compared to all the imported fruit/vegs in most stores). The only thing we left with from those categories were some avocados, from a Fallbrook vendor. Fallbrook avocados, if you actually get them, are fantastic! I suppose we will find out in a couple days if they are legit, or just imported from out of the country and bought and sold in bulk (one can tell the difference). Several vendors selling eggs, but they were averaging $10 a dozen! WTF? We ended up leaving there with a few pastries, a half dozen tamales, some homemade jam and a loaf of bread (plus the aforementioned avocados). The first three items noted were great, the bread was just okay, and we shall see about the avocados. We will return down the road for the items we determined were "great" and look into the fruit/veg offerings again. read more

My wife and I happened to stop here on our way to San Diego and it's a pretty neat farmer's market with a variety of stalls from organic produce to cooked food to candles to plants. We tried a sheep milk yogurt from a stall called French Delice and it was our favorite yogurt ever! It was so rich and creamy yet not too heavy or sweet. The owner said he actually doesn't add sugar to the yogurt; the sweetness is completely from the fruits/toppings added. He also lets you sample all of the flavors and my favorite was the cookies & cream but my wife's favorite was the fig. We bought a 8oz container for $7. We also bought a chicken, spinach, tomato, & avocado crepe for $9. It was delicious and filling. The owner said the bacon crepe was the most popular so we'll have to try that next time! The only downside to the farmer's market is the lack of parking. There's only street parking available so you might have to park several blocks away. read more

This is by far my favorite farmers market I've been to. We didn't know it was there on saturdays and had planned a day trip to Temecula but was met with quite a crowd and lack of parking on what we imagined would be a sleepy overcast Saturday morning. This is obviously the big attraction in Temecula. Seriously some GREAT vendors - gluten free cupcakes, beautiful homemade pies, gorgeous flowers I've never seen before, produce , succulents , you name it, it's there. We left with a packed trunk and happy. FYI there's an actual bathroom (not portapotties) on the grounds. Big bonus for a family with small bladders :D read more

This Farmer's Market has been here for years at the same location and at the same time on Saturdays. Its not the biggest Farmer's market but it does have some great vendor who sell everything from bread, soaps, honey, and of course produce which is probably the most sold item.
