Oof. Bad buds. I see a lot of reviews about bad customer service, which I didn't experience. The store was cluttered with lots of boxes piled around on various counters. Employees were all hanging out in a corner talking which wasn't a huge deal since I was being helped by someone at the desk. But there are people just standing around and there was so much inventory all over the place. It just didn't seem like there was any management here. That being said, they weren't unfriendly or rude as some other Yelpers have mentioned. They seemed pleasant enough. But the bud - it was really bad. I got 1/2 of Blue Dream (one of my favorites) and 1/4 of C99. This is where other Yelpers are completely right - their bud smells like straight hay. It does NOT smell good. It's dry and featured none of the white trichromes and almost no orange hairs that I know Blue Dream for. Major disappointment. Maybe it was ok once, but it seems like someone just took a pound, threw it in a hay pile with no bag for 3-4 months and then re-packaged and sold. Really bad flower here. Maybe they have better concentrate or edibles? Just don't buy the flower here. read more

I absolutely love Temescal Wellness in Pittsfield! Every time I go in there I'm treated like the most important customer in the world but that's just how they treat everyone. The Staff are amazing and it's always a pleasure stopping in. It doesn't matter if I spend $5 or $500, they're always happy to help. Prices are great too, there's always something in my budget and the selection of products is also great. I probably stop in at least 3 times a week, I've been shopping there since they opened and I've never had any problems. As far as I'm concerned, it's a perfect dispensary experience every time. Also I can't forget to add the fact that they're wicked fast. If you're in a hurry, you can get in and out a lot faster than the other places. This Whole Temescal Wellness family is absolutely amazing! While marijuana is helping me with my anxiety, depression and other things. This close knit Temescal family, makes it seem as if you are home again while walking in. The friendly faces you see often, well first off they are friendly faces, you can not ask for more. Ordered my item on line. Scheduled my time for pickup. I arrived, rang the bell. Waited about 5 seconds for a response and was told they would be right with me. I was let in about 30 seconds later. Checked my ID, which was very quick. The man announced my arrival and sent me in. No lines. I went right up to the counter and my order was ready and waiting. Very quick service and courteous staff. I don't totally understand the reviews. Every time I come here (Pittsfield branch), there's no wait, everyone is super friendly and the product is really good. I took a star off because the physical store itself lacks any charm or decor (looks like an hospital or airport waiting room -- not the new ones, but from the 80's), but that's not a reflection on either the product or the service. read more

Temescal is decent. They have fair prices and an alright selection. I haven't been back since they put someone else's patient labels on my product. I'm assuming they put my labels on that person's product as well. Sort of disconcerting as I go there to get my medicine and should have my privacy protected. Human error happens though. read more

Best in area. Closest to Albany/Troy and Capital District area. Discrete location unlike some others. Quality product, nice people, good selection, and competitive pricing with discounts for returning. And usually pretty quick even when crowded. A lot to like. read more
