My daughter was one of the first students at TCELA. She started there when she was only three years old and studied business in her first year. All of her teachers were so caring and dedicated. Even now, as a first grader, she still remembers her time at TCELA fondly and misses everyone there very much.

    Fun Activity

My son started this school when he was four, as his previous preschool got shut down. I felt he gained another family here through his classmates (also little friends from other classrooms), teachers and staffs. He had such a blast . This school provides learning through playing. Teachers constantly post photos and updates for the parents. And one unique thing about the school is the kids get to interact with the special needs kids. My son learnt to be extra gentle with his friends.

I have had 2 kids pass through this school, and if I did one thing right in my kid's preschool careers, it was enrolling them in this school. I did extensive research into preschools and even enrolled my son into a different one Initially, but took him out after a few months and was lucky enough to get him into CCP and never looked back. Ms. Denise, Mr. Viet, Ms. Sharon, Ms. Susan, Ms. Annie, Ms Rosie (the school's chef!!) and all the other teachers have left the biggest stamp on my daughter's (and our family's) life. There has not been one day she has said she did not want to go to school, which I can only attribute to the fun atmosphere and wonderful, loving teachers. Holidays are special here, birthdays are special here, summer is fun (splash day! Science man! Magic man!), mothers and fathers are celebrated (Ms Denise knows how to throw a party!)- the entire school Is centered around love and happiness. Aside from the great every day curriculum, courses like gymnastics, mandarin, and tap class are also available for those interested (during school time which is great for busy parents who work and can't necessarily get the kids to afterschool activities). A phone app is used to update parents with pictures, nap checks, daily calendar of events, etc. You always know exactly what is going on with your child that day. On top of all this, the teachers are very conscious of health allergies, eczema, sun protection, and providing a well balanced meal. Ending this review just saying how grateful I am to each and every person at Creative Child who has helped raise my daughter through her preschool years. She is growing into a confident, silly, loving, witty, smart and beautiful girl because of each of you. Thank you thank you thank you.

This will be my youngest's last year and I'm honestly SO sad. The pivotal memories they helped my sons create were just wonderful to see! I've always felt welcomed with the staff and they are just so wonderfully caring. They sincerely go above and beyond for the children AND their families! They ALWAYS set up really beautiful events for the parents on the important dates/holidays and it's just blows me away every single time. This was the place that I've felt safe leaving my babies at while I work. They always upload pictures of all the milestones AND when they do fun activities for the day which I LOVE. They're super communicative, they helped potty train both my kids, my kids follow direction, they have safety protocols as far as entering and leaving the premises. It's really a great school for children that I adore and will cherish!

In the beginning, our son (18-month old) had challenges being with a group of friends and Mr. Dave, Ms. Ranum, and teachers had so much patience and positive attitude working with my son to overcome it. They assisted with the potty train process which helped us so much. The school also handled Covid situation well, and we never had to worry about it. Our son enjoys his time here. He makes good friends and he loves all the teachers from three different age classes. This place makes our parenting life to have one less thing to worry about. I recommend this school to all our friends and families. We have signed up our second son to be here and we will suggest you to take a tour to see it yourself!

Our child began with major separation anxiety, but thanks to the teachers who stuck by her side, she began dancing and having fun in as little as four days and the crying at drop-off stopped after 2 weeks, at which point she began to run inside to be with her teachers and friends. The facility is very clean, safe, and built with growing kids in mind. They have a really good curriculum and great activities in each classroom. In the toddler class (ages 18-36mo & where our child was) they have a 6-to-1 child/teacher ratio. If I had to complain about one thing, it's that I wish we could get more photos/videos and updates throughout the day, but since I also don't want the teachers on cell-phones all day long, it's an okay trade off knowing that our kid will come home happy everyday and sometimes with cool art projects in hand! The staff also does a great job notifying us of any incidents (booboos, bites, runny noses) that need our immediate attention or knowledge. They have a good, effective covid policy in place too and if I'm not mistaken only one child tested positive for covid since the pandemic began, but the child stayed home and quarantined. The entire school/staff was then dismissed to get tested and the results were all negative. To protect everyone, they check everyone's temps upon arrival and they won't hesitate to send children home for high temps or any covid-like symptoms. I would highly recommend anyone to come here, especially if it's their child's first school. They do a wonderful job.

Looking back, choosing this school was the absolute best decision we could have made for his early education and development! Every single teacher here is exceptionally nice, patient, and genuinely invested in the children's growth. They create such a warm, welcoming environment that my son looked forward to going to school every single day. What we love most about the curriculum is the perfect balance it strikes: Strong Academics & Creativity: They have an impressive academic foundation that fully prepared my son for his next big step into elementary school, but they always keep it full of creativity, imagination, and fun. Endless Activities: The school keeps the kids engaged with a wonderful variety of activities that brought out the best in my son's curiosity. Amazing Care: As a parent, peace of mind is everything. The school safety is top-notch. Plus, it is incredibly convenient that they provide two healthy snacks and a nutritious lunch every day, which my son loved. Not only do they continue to help our daughter grow and give her the personalized attention she needs in class, on the playground, in daycare. But they have gone to the whole way to the mat for her to advocate for the essential services she will need to continue to learn and grow. Our daughter may well be stronger and even safer years after she graduates from AMS because of their limitless advocating for her. Separately, our daughter is now communicating at what an independent assessment has said is a level 1.5 years above her age group. And she's an increasingly confident and determined little person. Someplace else, she might be reciting more things by rote or I don't even know what skill someone might need a toddler to have. Instead, she can and will tackle anything. It just doesn't occur to her there's something she can't do. They are an enormous part of that. And just great partners in all aspects. I'm a better mom because I know them. Arcadia Montessori school is not just a school of magnificently talented, dedicated and kind people. They *love* their students. They advocate for and protect kids way beyond what one could reasonably expect from anyone other than immediate family. They just bring tears to my eyes - more than I'd like to admit! And just yesterday when I went to pick up our daughter who otherwise has deep separation anxiety said - mama, can you come back a little later?

Both kids started at AMS around the age of 2.5, after they were potty trained. Both absolutely thrived in this environment and saw incredible development milestones throughout their time at AMS. The teachers and administration at this school are simply incredible. Each teacher and administrator showed an incredible amount of genuine attention and affection for our children. As children move through the school, through the different classes across age ranges, and through their development, each teacher has age-appropriate and individual child specific support for the little ones. We unfortunately started at this school during Covid so we had limited access and engagement early on. However, as things reopened, we had an ability to come to the school for events, come make independent visits, and engage more in the day-to-day activities of our kids. Under the leadership of Mrs. Cheryl Roberts, our children were provided with an incredibly supportive environment to learn, grow, and to most importantly be kids. Our children showed incredible development throughout their time at AMS. I can confidently say that their reading, speech, math, and life skills developed significantly because of the attention and help of the teachers and administration of the school.

We were searching for so many daycare around the SGV area and we came upon Playfactory Preschool. The school is located at a church. They have multiple rooms for the different age group. They have a large yard so they have plenty of space to play in. All the teachers my son had were wonderful with him. Ms. Wendy, Ms Maria, Ms Anna and Ms. Xing. My son loved Ms. Emma as well. She's the one who cooks lunch for the kids. He always came home happy. They are more play base than academics. They emphasize learning through play. This daycare is one of the more reasonable price daycare around this area which is a plus.

This review is purely based off of my tour and the vibe I got. I had toured quite a few schools before enrolling my son in another preschool near our house (which we love). There were Montessori (both AMI and "inspired") schools, a posh school located in a rather affluent part of town, full immersion schools (Spanish/Mandarin). After touring so many schools, I had to say the most important thing for me is the teachers'/director's "vibe" and how well I think they will care for my child. This ain't a cram school for college. I don't need my kid to come out SAT style scoring a 1600 (or whatever the next "perfect score" will be). They need to be well cared for by loving care providers. And Playfactory had just that. Granted it was only a tour - but you can learn a lot about a place just during a thirty minute interaction. At some places I toured - kids were left crying by themselves with NO ONE checking in on them. The teachers were all there, seeing them cry, and did nothing. I really don't care if they teach Calculus, this is not acceptable. That was a hard no for me. At some other places, the director acted like my kid would be guaranteed a Harvard admission spot and sending them anywhere else would result in a detriment in their learning and development. We all know there are various ways of teaching and fostering learning. There is no one single way. I would not want my kid in a place where people think their way of doing things is superior. Hard pass. Come Playfactory - I had such a relaxing feeling the moment I spoke to Ms. Tammie. There was a girl who was crying for mom. Ms. Tammie knew her by name, crouched down and told her "I have a feeling it's almost mom time". She stopped crying immediately. When I came by the 2 year olds' classroom, this was after official school time was over so the kids were all independently playing, but they were all happy, calm, and their teacher was just around the corner prepping some stuff but always keeping an eye on them. All the teachers I interacted with were kind and seemed to not be overworked. For faculty - Playfactory gets an A+ from my tour. I also love how they have a HUGE play area. It was amazing, almost like Lacy Park vibe, which is really hard to find in most preschools. The kids do tree planting and care for their little gardens. It's the cutest thing. I am still a bit sad we didn't get to try Playfactory - not that we don't love our current school, but really the only factor that held us back from PF was the distance. I still recommend all my friends who live in the Temple City/Arcadia area to check them out.
