The first time I think there were 7 or 8 and they lasted over a month. The second time I only did 4 and they lasted a little over 3 weeks. And to be fair the braids are still intact they just start looking kinda messy. Her prices are reasonable as well and she will tell you where to go pick up the hair she likes to use. So there is an extra step, but it's super easy and reasonable. A nice solution too if you are traveling or having surgery or some other circumstances where washing your hair regularly is a challenge.

Originally I asked Jhemini to come to my hotel and style my bridesmaids (six of them!) plus my mom (my mom, by the way, has super long, super thick, super curly, super difficult hair!). She was up for the challenge and did her research on my girls' hair types and the styles they wanted so she'd be prepared. However due to some unforeseen circumstances, I actually ended up needing Jhemini to do MY (the bride) hair, which I / she didn't know until 10pm the night before! I can only imagine that finding out you have to do a bride's hair with no practice or previous discussion would be a little terrifying for a stylist. But Jhem was nothing but calm and 100% reassuring (which I really needed in my frazzled and stressing state!). The next morning she was on time and ready to go. She had a plan and made sure she stayed on schedule. I showed her both what my trial run hairstyle (an up-do) had looked like and also some other styles I liked. She took what I liked and made it better - I ended up LOVING my hair! She also styled my bridesmaids and mom beautifully - everyone looked awesome. The moral of this story is that even if you're not looking for wedding services, you can go to Jhemini knowing she is professional, talented, calm, and will work to make you feel your best, with whatever service you need. I've always had a great experience with her and can't recommend her enough!
