The three stars are for the nice lady in the office. The park is not to bad. Lots of mature trees and decent pull though sites and nice back in sites. As we are older people we did not use the playground, but I did see several little tykes playing like they were having fun. The pool was closed because it was evidently to cold in the mornings still. Now come the really bad part. The restrooms and showers were a nightmare! They were terribly dirty and one of the 3 toilets was plugged up the first night. The second morning all 3 were plugged and the urinal too. Plus the odor was horrendous! It smelled so bad and the showers were so bad we didn't get a shower that night!! The park really is a good place to stay, but until they do something with the restrooms and showers, I think I go elsewhere. Sad, very sad! read more

I've stayed at a pretty good amount of campground over the US and this one is average. Nothing particularly bad about it sticks out to me, but it definitely doesn't go above and beyond. There are a good amount of RV spots and a good amount of tent camping available. For the tent spots, the ground was nice and flat. The bathrooms were clean for our visit. I didn't use the showers while here, but I did change clothes in one of the shower stalls and it was nice and clean. The pool had quite a few people in it, but looked clean. I saw a hot tub as well, but it wasn't open. The booking process was a little odd. I had to book online and then wait for them to confirm the tent spot I requested. It took about a day for that to go through and the email I got from them confirming the request didn't have the date on it. I emailed them asking them to verify the date and they sent another email confirming it. At check-in, they were fast and friendly. For the pageant, they raise the prices like everyone else does in town. It was still a good price though, and about the same as the last available spot in Palisades State Park would have been (minus showers). With the pageant ending this year, I'm curious to see how this place fares over the next year, along with the entire city of Manti. If you're going through town and need a place to stay, this could be a good place for a night. read more

This place has gone down hill since we stayed here about 13 years ago. We chose to camp here instead of making the 2 hour drive after the pageant. I wish we would have just driven. The bathrooms are definitely not the cleanest. We decided to not use the showers, I just couldn't bring myself to stand in them and that says a lot coming from someone that likes her showers. There was only 1 working toilet in the women's restroom near the office. There is little to no grass and lots of weeds and dirt that gets muddy easily. The staff was kind when we checked in which is the reason for the higher rating. read more

We travel the country in our 5 th wheel, and I must say the place and the people who run it are probably the worst we have run across. They do not give a shit about there customers and there needs. They do care about taking your money. They tried to take us for 400.00 for 3 nights over a misunderstanding and kept 280 and we didn't even stay there. Other resorts across they country will work and with you in a fare way. Avoid this rv park at all COST! What a joke. I noticed other reviews feel the same. read more

This is one of the worse RV parks I have stayed at. They do little to no maintenance. The bathrooms and showers were a mess and there was no hot water the first day. We had to ask them to turn on the hat water heater and they acted like they were doing us a favor. The roads needed to be re graveled so there were serious mud holes people were getting stuck in. There are weeds everywhere. I don't think they are spending anytime on general maintenance. It's really sad how downhill this place has gone. We have been coming for years and we are finally done. Never again. This place is a candidate for zero stars. read more

This place has really gone down hill since I was a kid and Yogi Bear was here. It is overall an average campground, the highlight is how close it is to the Manti Temple. I think the current owners bought this campground with only dollar signs in their eyes and no customer service experience. When we first arrived we were surprised to see that the three sites we paid for for 13 people were missing A LOT of standards a regular campground provides. We had to spend $7 per night for our cars, as well as rent a table for $2 per night to eat on...Not to mention they didn't document us purchasing these things so when my spouse arrived they weren't sure whether or not we paid. They had an office with some basic supplies, but drive to the local Walmart for a much cheaper product (they had $1 towels for $7, .10 chips for over $1, and more) I would of course be okay with paying more if the facilities were nicer, the table was rotting, the bathrooms uncleaned, huge weeds on the pathway to the restroom, etc. Where were the owners? Two were in the office behind one register collecting money and another was out front monitoring who came in with parking passes and who didn't. They will not offer ANY refund or cash back of any sort even if you cancel weeks ahead. We stayed around Pageant time, but they do not enforce a quiet time. Our neighbors were yelling a screaming until midnight and no one was walking the ground. In fact, we never saw anyone walk the grounds. Overall, the campground is not like every other campground. So my recommendation go to another campground and save yourself from the extra hefty charges. read more

DO NOT USE CHOOSE THIS "RESORT"?? They are not very nice to speak with, they are not willing to work with you on ANY changes. They charge way to much for way to little. The place has gone down hill from the previous owners. They do not offer any refunds whatsoever and if you want to change dates they will charge you for that as well, even after they offer a change of date instead of a refund. I checked out staying here, but kept getting different prices...from the same people. I am attending Snow College, and was looking for a place to stay when it gets cold. I have my own travel trailer, so that's not a big issue. However, the first price was $350/months, which I felt was a really good price, all things considered. Then when I got it nailed down on when I was coming there and making reservations, they changed the price to $420. Ok, I suppose it's do-able. They are a business, and businesses gotta make money. So I come in to pre-pay, a week before I bring the trailer over the mountain, and in conversation the price jumps to $580. Uhhhh, no. Not in a million years. read more

We stayed at Temple Hill Resort & Campground this past weekend. (June 26, 2015) It was crowded but we did expect that due to the Manti Pageant. The campsites were very small with dead grass and no trees surrounded by other campers within 5 feet of you. It was overpriced for the site. I paid $39 for four people. The restrooms were dirty and by morning there was no toilet paper left. The showers got scolding hot whenever someone flushed the toilets so you couldn't stand in the water. The worst part was the so called "quiet hours". It was suppose to start at 12 midnight. I get that because of the pageant. We got back to our campsite late and it was 12:30AM by the time we were settling into our tent. Since our campsites were very close to each other, you could hear everybody around you. Kids were screaming and running around, adults were laughing loudly, a youth group was making obnoxious noises and laughing loudly UNTIL 2:00AM!!!!! I think someone finally came to tell them to quiet down by 2:15AM. They quieted down but some groups continued to be loud. I would not recommend staying here during the pageant weeks. If you DON'T want a good night's sleep, then you can stay here. read more

Absolutely great place, not fancy but very nice campground. Great place if you like to do some ATV riding. Shady area for 30 amp, and 50 amp would b in the terraced hillside (no shade) with a pleasant breeze. read more

I am typically NOT the one to write reviews like this and believe in giving a business a chance but not this place. CAMPER BEWARE!!! I am a kind person and believe in spreading kindness so I will preface by saying "I did not deserve the treatment that follows!" The management in this park is the WORST! I have NEVER dealt with such attitude and I raised a teenage daughter! I don't understand how a place with such poor attitudes in the people running it can stay in business. Where do I even start? First, we paid for 2 spots under the same name. Common sense would tell you we would like to be next to each other b/c the same person made the reservation. When asked why that didn't happen, we were told all the spots were taken (not true). Then, they charge for everything. Only 2 people are allowed in each spot...anyone over that, you have to pay an extra $5 PER DAY. This was not a problem for me as there were only 2 of us. My problem was they charged me for 2 dogs ($3 per dog/per day). I made my reservations months ago and by the time I rolled into the park, I had left my dogs with my daughter so I could enjoy a quiet weekend without worrying about dogs in the RV. Well, I was STILL charged for those dogs. When asked about a refund, we were told, "NO REFUNDS!" (insert mgmt's snotty attitude). Mgmt told us that when we made the reservation, we told them we would have 2 dogs so they charged us. Let's move onto my RV. It is a 45-ft toy hauler. We told them we needed a pull through spot. When we arrived, we were stuck in the back 40 in a back in spot. This left us with unloading our toy before backing in and then packing everything up and pulling out of our spot to reload our toy. Slight inconvenience but still do-able. Next thing to note, the flies. Oh my heaven.....you could not sit outside your campsite without being swarmed. This left us RUNNING for the open door and closing it quickly to keep flies out of the RV. Open fires..........don't even think about it. That really nice propane fire bowl you have, just leave it packed away in the RV. Any park I've ever been to that was under a fire warning, still allowed use of your propane fire bowl. So much for enjoying drinks or s'mores around a fire. Lastly, we had spent the entire day riding the trails and really just wanted to relax in the pool. After changing into our suits, we headed over to the pool for a dip. To our surprise, the pool was locked. We asked why and again, (insert mgmt's snotty attitude) we were told THUNDER! It was explained to me the pool would re-open 30 mins after the last clap of thunder. When the pool finally did open, there were countless bugs and leaves that needed to be removed so someone went into the office to ask to use a skimmer. They were told it gets skimmed once a day and that had already happened. I'm all about adventure but this trip was a nightmare. I would rather sleep in a Wal-mart parking lot than stay here again and be treated the way we were. We left a day early....and of course, we knew better than to ask for a refund. This place was a joke! I'm giving it one star because ZERO was not an option. read more

We just spent the weekend here to attend the Rat Fink Reunion 2016. We reserved 2 dry camp spots. They sold us spots that were supposed to be big enough for our rig of 65 ft in lentgh. (Motorhome and trailer). After we paid for everything ($195.06 two sites and six people each extra person, pet, car, or trailer is extra as well as visitors $5 per person) they told us several times there were no refunds. I thought at the time that was a bit excessive, but then the gal who seemingly was running the place, met us at our site and turned into a raging psycho, when our rig was longer than she wanted it to be. She wanted us to keep pulling forward down the hill where we didn't stand a chance to get leveled out and a good chance to get stuck. All of the rage because we were sticking out in the weeds and the "big rigs" couldn't get around to make the turn. The camp ground never filled up. We had the entire north section to ourselves, so I was quite surprised that when my sister-in-law asked to rent the next spot next to us as well she was denied, "because he was mean." My husband. Showers still get scalding when a toilet flushes, only one working shower in the mens, many many gopher holes beware if you are walking anywhere in the dark, much of the place is weed covered, the "grass"is infested with goat head thorns and the mature trees, those are mainly around the office. But the pool was nice and so was the young lady at the desk. read more
