This is a late review. In mid-July, my husband and I ate at the Tempura House (although that is not its name...there was no name on the outside). During covid, our table was a good 6 feet (or more) away from the other table in the enclosed patio area. We both ordered the shrimp tempura bento. My husband is NOT a sashimi/sushi eater, but he really enjoyed this dish. I love sashimi/sushi and can have it morning, noon and night. The sashimi slices were huge and fish was good! We will definitely eat here the next time we are in Alamosa. read more

The miso soup is delicious as is the lobster Rangoon, fresh roll and the sushi. The staff are very friendly, the food is high quality and reasonably priced. Overpriced. Bland. Gastric disturbance after eating. Not much broth & overcooked egg in ramen. Not many vegetables in drunken noodles. Asked for spicy on both and was not. Avocado roll was skimp. Tea tasted more like tap. Service was almost decent. Wouldn't come back read more

Fantastic!! Pleasantly surprised how good and fresh the food was. I had Tuna hand roll and Pad Thai. Both were delicious. My wife had the drunken noodles and she says it was quite good. We are definitely "foodie" types and thus very picky. Food was fantastic!!! read more

Had been wanting to try this out since I was told by the owners of the Thai Hut that they were opening a new restaurant. The avocado roll was good. Vegan roll was also good. I ordered the vegetable pad Thai. Not usually a big pad Thai person but I really liked it. The noodles were very good. I would order it again, but also would like to try other things in the future. My wife got the vegetable and shrimp tempura. She said it was good. Not ground breaking tempura, but better than expected from a small place in southern Colorado. I tasted the sweet potato tempura slices and thought they were actually very good. I could have had a meal of just tempura sweet potatoes. A very good option for quality food in Alamosa. read more

Omg. This has to be my new favorite restaurant in all of Alamosa. The service was great, the food was incredible, I was at a loss for words when I tasted my first bite of food there and it only got better. I had the fried pork dumplings (which can also come steamed) and mixed shrimp and veggie tempura as an appetizer to share. Both were great and perfectly crispy. The octopus sushi was incredibly fresh and tasted sooo good. The shrimp rice bowl was so flavorful and the shrimp tasted extremely fresh. We also had the Rolling on the Belly roll which was super delicious! The eel was cooked perfectly and the roll tasted fresh overall. The ramen, the absolute star of the show, was just insane. An egg was perfectly cooked in between hard and soft boiled so it was so creamy. The pork was seasoned so well and was so tender. The noodles were bouncy and held the broth very well! I've had lots of ramen at lots of places, and this rivals my #1. I highly recommend anyone to come here and have a nice, heartwarming meal! read more

This is THE BEST RESTAURANT IN ALAMOSA PERIOD!!! We visited a month ago and they were remodeling. We are so glad they were open on our second trip. We were all skeptical because we were the only ones in there but we were hungry and were craving noodles. We were all blown away by the authentic flavors and portions of our dishes!!! From appetizers to the soup to our entree's it was the absolute most satisfying meal!!! If you haven't tried it you must!!! Not to mention how sweet our server was! read more

Cute little place on the inside, don't the the exterior fool yah'. I tried a mix of food styles and I was presently surprised at the quality and great flavors. I would recommend they take more time cleaning the tables down at they are sticky ti the touch... but the food is top notch. Neg: little bit pricy but not by much and could be cleaner. stopped in here for my birthday dinner was a second time we've been here it was simply amazing we ordered several different things from the menu tempura roles were great the sushi and sashimi rolls were great the ramen noodle bowl and rice Bowl was awesome we had the calamari appetizer it was also very well cooked like crispy and tender the waiter was friendly the food came out prompt and fast very impressed we will be back! read more

I was very excited to try this place. Had some of the sushi rolls, the mixed vegetable tempura, and the beef pho. The pho was not the best, but this isn't a Vietnamese restaurant nor a pho specific restaurant. The service was very slow and it took us around 40 minutes to get our food and then another 20 minutes after we ate to get our check. Sushi was good, and they need a drink menu. read more

I came here while staying in Alamosa. I do not recommend. Do not go here. We were the only customers. The hostess watched us the entire time. The food tasted frozen and undercooked. Water tasted like tap water. When we went to pay they claimed the credit card machine didn't work because the internet was down, and instead asked if she could write down our card information.
