They are always so kind, efficient, and quick to assist with any questions or requests I have, all while maintaining a positive, genuine attitude. I also witnessed a difficult situation with an upset and completely out of control parent recently (cussing and yelling at them! In front of kids) , and the way they handled it was truly impressive--they stayed calm and professional, which is something I know I could not have done. I've had experiences at other schools where I considered leaving due to poor interactions with front desk staff alone, but the team at Lighthouse has truly made it one of the best schools we've ever attended. They really have a knack for all children and their well-being! 2 of my 3 kids have gone there since 2018 and I refer all of my friends and family, my sister is pregnant, and she knows first-hand why she is picking Childrens Lighthouse. I know people read reviews that other customers leave in an effort to find out if that business will work for their needs. I don't want my review to come off insincere or fake as if in 5 years I have never had any issues whatsoever. We have had a few minor needs and once addressed with the staff they team up with you as the parent to accommodate and come up with a solution to the situation at hand. I have scoured all over Flower Mound/Lewisville (where I live) and all of Grapevine (where I work) including surrounding cities, and no other facility meets my standard to take my most prized possessions. My first job out of high school was in childcare for 7 years and I know exactly what to look for. I understand there are some negative reviews for Childrens Lighthouse and that as humans not everyone will be happy but please know that there are situations that this business faces. For example: There was another child harming my child and other children on a daily basis and eventually the child was unenrolled, and the parent went on google and left a horrible review. I know first-hand that some of the information in the review was incorrect. Unfortunately, on these platforms there is a major struggle. The customer can tell a story but because of privacy the owners and staff of Childrens Lighthouse are unable to defend themselves. So, it just appears the customers story is accurate, but the business is unable to speak on the topic. I could not be more grateful to have found this gem. My sweet girl has grown tremendously. I have no doubt that between home and her time spent here she will be more than prepared to begin elementary school. Curriculum was important to me when I found Kiddie Academy, and I can say that Kiddie Academy has a great one. My baby girl is always learning something new. I'm a teacher and I come home and my daughter is discussing condensation and the water cycle with me, among other things. They are both so happy to go to school each day, my daughter literally does not want to miss a beat. I know that my children are loved and I'm so grateful for that. We recently moved out of the area to Aubrey, but my children will continue their preschool educations at Kiddie Academy Castle Hills because it honestly is that great. Most of the children in her care have been with her since they were very young (as early as 2 weeks!) so she has a great track record of helping children develop over a long period of time. Our child has been with Zohreh since he was almost 4 months, and we saw growth from him even after the first weekend. We tell Zohreh what we're working on at home and she helps us by reinforcing the practice at daycare (tummy time, rolling over, reaching, etc). Our baby loves watching the other kids play, and we feel comfortable that he's in a safe environment because all the kids are similar in age, up to about 2 1/2 years old. It's nice to have him with kids that are just a bit older so he has a good reference for development. Zohreh sends us pictures throughout the day and gives us a daily report logging feedings, naps, diaper changes, etc. She's told us when he has a rash, scratches himself, so we trust he's in good hands. We're so glad we found Zohreh. Her daycare rates are affordable, and she's flexible with our schedules as well. We'll keep our son with Zohreh as long as possible.
