My daughter has been at this daycare going on three years now. We have had the best experience with all of her teachers, the staff and directors. The classrooms are clean and safe and there is an abundance of educational and fun things for her to do. When she was old enough, the outdoor area is shaded for the hot summer days and large enough for kids to run around, ride bikes, and play games. A lot of the teachers are education majors and they really care about what they're doing and take pride in their classes. They have a lot of energy and enthusiasm that you don't find at every daycare. We receive monthly calendars telling us what she will be doing in class so we can talk to our daughter about her day. There are monthly meal calendars posted as well as snack schedules. Teachers communicate to us during drop-off and pickup what she will be doing and how she did during the day. The security has never been an issue. There is a teacher sitting at the front desk or standing by the door every day when we arrive that knows our child's name. There is a director in the upstairs office keeping an eye on everyone coming and going and talking to parents if they need to discuss anything. My daughter loves the singing lessons they have once a week and chapel every Friday. She is learning to be confident singing, reciting verses, and leading her friends (in the Christmas performance). I can't say enough good things about this daycare. I have had experiences at other daycares and I'm so glad we found Wellspring when we moved to Denton. I have 1 child currently at Wellspring and am excited for my next child to start there in less than a month! My daughter has been at Wellspring for 2.5 years. We were worried about finding the right daycare for her when we moved to Denton. We visited close to 20 different businesses and Wellspring came in 1st. We enrolled her and very quickly we realized how passionate the staff and owners are about the development of children. I cannot tell you how often my daughter says something really intelligent for a 4 year old, that I don't expect her to know and when I ask how she knows that she always says 'Miss _______ taught us that.' Teachers - I was worried at first that the majority of the staff working there were in college or just out of college. I can't tell you how wrong I was. The young women that work there are so passionate about the kids and are using the lessons they learn daily in their college classes with our kids. One of my daughters teachers had a BA and was working on her Masters in Early Childhood Development. Very impressive. My son will start in just a few weeks and we are ecstatic! My only complaint would be they don't accept younger children. We were forced to enroll him at another daycare in the Denton area. Go take a tour. I have been blessed to be an administrator and parent at Wellspring Academy in Denton for over a year as of November 2021 and could not be happier! The ownership team is so involved and has a beautiful vision of what Wellspring can be as we move forward. My two beautiful boys ADORE their teachers and look forward to coming to school everyday. My eldest looks forward to the weekly chapel service and gets so excited to bring his offering every week. My kids have been at Wellspring for several years now. The preschool teachers were so helpful with potty training. They encouraged our youngest and us to start potty training. The staff is kind and cares about the children. The owner is named Charlotte and she is the kindest and most genuine person we have ever encountered in the daycare scene. Judene is the director and has worked there for what I gather is a very long time. She is professional and down to business. My children go out of their way to tell her bye every evening. My children look forward to their weekly chapel and we are thankful that our kids get that church experience as we don't get to church every weekend. Children learn verses and motions to songs that they bring home with them. It's great to see them growing in this way. Meals are included in the already super affordable price. They plan each month and calendar down to the very day and theme. We have loved Wellspring and are so thankful they also pick up our school aged son. His homework is done by pick up time and he loves spending time in the arcade room. I recommend this place to everyone that I can. We love it! read more

Currently, we have our 4 year old son attending Wellspring. Our older son (now 10.5 yrs old) used to go to Wellspring between the ages of 19 months all the way through 5. We've been overall pleased with how well both our children have been taken care of! Our older son was more than prepared for kindergarten and he loved his time there. Our younger son is also enjoying his time at Wellspring; his teacher Ms. Rachel is awesome - she's attentive, caring, and enthusiastic (other teachers like Ms. Gabby and Ms. Abigail are great also!). Though I was first unsure of all the changes that's happened at Wellspring over the last couple of years, I've grown accustomed to them and have been thankful for how responsive the administration/staff has been. I really like that we have an app where we get updates from the staff, sometimes with pictures and video of what our kiddo has been up to, and where we can message his teacher. I also really appreciate that Wellspring has been doing more for and with the community like their fall festival which we attended in October 2022. I definitely recommend Wellspring! read more

Wellspring has been a great school for my now 3 year old! He started August 2020 during the pandemic. They were very proactive in their protective measures. Now they have even implemented additional protective measures to ensure only those who have children attending Wellspring can entire the building by way of personalized passcodes on 2 entry doors. Wellspring is truly a school, not a daycare. There's a planned curriculum that is shared in monthly calendar form and a weekly mini "newsletter". He has had Mrs. Gabbie and Ms. Rachel. He has enjoyed his time in both classes. He's learning Spanish and Sign Language in addition to the standard curriculum. I get updates and pictures throughout each day which is nice. Overall, I'd recommend Wellspring Academy to anyone looking for a learning facility for their child! read more

I often think about how different our lives would be without having Wellspring to literally raise our children! Being working parents we spend most of our time away from our children and others influence them far more than we realize. Without Wellspring it would be a terrible situation. My wife and I are so thankful we have the great foundation of Wellspring to teach our kids. Not only cognitive learning, but also the things that build character and moral understanding - right from wrong and things like accountability, manners and developing a strong self image. Wellspring Christian Academy and its staff are everything you want in an early education environment. They are professional and have a great facility, they go above and beyond to create a safe and educational environment for the kids. Also, my daughters all have a great time there and NEVER complain about going to school. The director and front office staff bent over backwards to help my twin daughters have a comfortable transition from staying with Grand-Ma to school. The classroom teachers are kind and loving toward the children, they work hard every day to provide an enjoyable experience. When my husband I moved to Denton from out of state for job transfers, our biggest concern was childcare. When we arrived to Denton the name "Wellspring" was all we heard. People in the neighborhood that we just met, people at our new jobs, and even people in the grocery store gave us good reviews & references about Wellspring. The only problem with Wellspring is that my child can't stay there all her life! At some point I know my daughter will get too old to attend! When I enrolled 3 years ago, I had no idea how happy I would be! The Summer Camp Program is unbelievable fun!!! My daughter gets to do things and go places I don't have the time or money to take her on my own. Every day has some special event, planned activity, field trip or experience that is impacting to my child. The caring, educated and experienced staff are so good with the children. We just finished our first semester for my child at Wellspring and it has been so smooth and better than I could have hoped! The staff is easy to communicate with and I just love my son's teacher. He talks about her all the time at home and you can tell she genuinely cares for the kids in her class. They've added new security at all the entrance doors which I really appreciate and the classrooms are clean and organized. Like most little kids he took a few weeks to warm Up to going, but now he runs in and says hi to all the staff he passes and goes right on in to his classroom happily. Wellspring has been great to my oldest two kids and now my youngest son. He has been there since he was one year old and he is now 5. He has learned his name, colors, shapes, fine motor skills, how to use a pencil and so much more. He loves the bible stories and the days where they do praise and worship. He has had the best infant teacher and pre-school teachers. Ms. Carmen, Ms. Abigail, Ms. Holly, and Ms. Tracy to name a few have been wonderful. My husband's job is making our family relocate out of state and I am so upset by having to leave the wonderful Wellspring school! My almost four year old has gone to this preschool for the past two years. I couldn't be happier with the quality of care and education. He has truly thrived here. The teachers are very involved and communicative. The ladies who run the school are m always make themselves available for any questions or concerns. I am very blessed to have this daycare! We are a Christian family so I love that they incorporate teachings there at the school from the bible. That's super important to me and my kids. We have had our child attending Wellspring for the last 2.5 years and have been pleased with both the staff and facilities. They communicate well with the parents on the daily happenings in the classroom - as well as monthly/daily itineraries so we can prep in advance. Both my girls have been coming to Wellspring for five years now. And I feel like it's the best Christian daycare in Denton. The kids truly learn about God and love going to see their teachers. The teachers really enjoy teaching the children about God and showing them how much God loves all of them.
