When she first meets you she talks you through everything. She tells you how the laser works, what it will feel like, what you'll see in the weeks to come, etc. She has a great "bed side manner" and she seems to never be running behind schedule. If you're doing the laser hair removal you'll need to go back every 6 weeks for at least 6 treatments. The laser works best on dark hair and the area needs to be shaved prior to each treatment. The pain is not too bad, kinda feels like getting popped with a hot rubber band and it's really quick. I very rarely wait longer than 5 minutes in the waiting room, and once I'm back in an exam room I'm in and out in another 5 minutes. I've dealt with some form of acne my entire life, it might be painful at times - but is never itchy. Regardless of this - he tells me my big problem is cysts - hands me a scalpel - and tells me to do my thing at my house if I want. Seriously. A doctor gave me a scalpel and told me to do my own surgery. Cyst removal. That happened. Just go on youtube and look it up. This is for sure something you want to try on your own right? I'll just grab my surgery tray, sterile forceps, make my incision and get to parting skin.
