I woke up very late and needed food asap! I decided to ask the hotel staff about the adjoining restaurant and they said we got 20% off so I thought I would give them a try. The food was so good, I can hardly wait go back! I had two pear cocktails, a fried goat cheese with beets salad and some pasta dish, my favorite was the salad, it was everything I had been craving, the cocktails were amazing. Totally coming back here again!

This is a great restaurant located in the Aloft hotel! Whether you're dining in meeting up with some friends or doing take out, this is a great place for some drinks and some simple bites. The food ranges from basic salads and some soups to some steaks and burgers. I ordered the burger to go as I was staying in the Aloft hotel. Very nice staff and the food was ready as promised. The atmosphere was definitely busy and noisy as there was live music! My burger was tasty and did the job, I wouldn't mind eating here again but maybe trying something else from the menu!

We stayed at the Aloft hotel so eating at Tenters was a no brainer since they are the closest and most convenient restaurant where we're staying. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. It was time to eat some greens after our long flight so we decided to have the Caesar salad. In my opinion this is one of the better Caesar salads I've had in a while. The lettuce leaves all had a very light coating of Caesar dressing which I personally enjoyed. They also sprinkled on the salad some sun-dried tomatoes. We ordered the market fish of the day and beer battered haddock. I don't remember what type of fish but it was light and tasty. The asparagus was perfectly cut and cooked. The fish and chips is served on a wood slab and came with one large fish portion and a metal cup of fries. Both were decent but one thing I noticed where the fries tasted a little fishy since they're likely fried in the same oil. I've never experienced this before in all my years of eating this dish. All good though. Overall, a little pricey at €72 for gastropub food but the quality, design, and ambiance were good. This included a Guinness beer, glass of wine, and a hot tea. The staff were friendly. The food was a little slow but that allowed us to catch up on things while we waited. Overall, a good experience and would definitely come back if we stayed at this hotel.

So we followed up and ate dinner. It was good but not quite as good. The dessert the one night was fantastic. The second night it was good. The entrees were solid.

Great whiskey sours! Came here before dinner one night because our hotel is connected to it. The bar has such cool lighting and ambiance. The service was okay. The design is swanky and cool.

Gorgeous space within an old Bank Building, with great happy energy or "Craic". Nice mix of locals and tourists. 2. Nice more intimate dining on the Mezzanine. Even the group at the adjacent table seemed far away. Even with limited people watching opportunities, it was fun to look down on the main floor and on our level catch glimpses of a young date in progress. 3. Friendly and pleasant wait person. 4. Both Don and Fern enjoyed their Butternut and Ricotta Ravioli Dish and their Chocolate Brownie for Dessert. 3 of us also enjoyed the local Clockwork Stout. +/- 1. The pro-Palestinian trappings were perhaps a little too "in your face", starting with the big flag at the entrance, and proceeding to the small pin worn by the wait person. I otherwise have no issues with folks expressing their opinions. 2. Gayle's French 75 was just OK. CON 1. Gayle and I ordered the burger which we found overcooked and largely inedible. The much more tasty chips weren't enough to make up for this. 2. Gayle loved her Irish Coffee (See Picture).

The authentic Victorian setting, the Victorian mahogany fittings, the mosaic marble tiled floors and granite tabletops, the mahogany bar, capped with red Connemara marble, follows the classic Victorian architectural pattern. The staff are helpful, friendly and patient since their accent is hard to understand sometime. My 1st beer and 1st Irish food, all I can say is what a meal, just simple delish. Being here is just a wondrous experience, the place is cosy, warm and the friendly of the people. So glad I picked this place as my first of Dublin.

Tucked down Dame Court just off Dame Street, The Stag's Head is one of those rare pubs that feels genuinely historic rather than designed to look old. The building dates to the late 1800s, and the interior retains the ornate features of a classic Victorian "gin palace"--rich carved wood, stained glass, brass rails, and a warm, glowing bar that feels wonderfully preserved. We stopped in around 4:30 pm, which turned out to be a perfect time to visit. There were other patrons enjoying drinks and food, but the atmosphere was calm and relaxed rather than loud or rowdy. It felt like the kind of place where locals drop in for a quiet pint on their way home from work before the evening crowd arrives. The staff were excellent--friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. The food was very good (we failed to take photos because we were too busy enjoying it). As a vegetarian, I was thrilled to see the Impossible burger front and center on their menu; it was deliciously prepared with guacamole on a brioche bun, and not an afterthought on the menu. My companions both chose the Irish Beef Burger, and said it was excellent. One thing to know: this is a traditional Victorian pub, so cocktails aren't really part of the program. Expect beer, wine, or spirits rather than mixed drinks. In a place like this, that actually feels exactly right. Other pubs do serve mixed drinks. Between the history, the ambience, the quality of the food, and the wonderful staff, The Stag's Head is the kind of place that makes you feel like you've experienced a real piece of Dublin.

Foley's has two floors, the downstairs area offers live music but no real food menu so we headed upstairs. The place was crowded (later learned there was an American football game in town with 30,000 fans from Georgia Tech and Florida State; in future I would avoid visiting Dublin during this time!) Foley's offers typical pub food in a casual sports bar atmosphere. My chicken tenders were nicely spiced and meaty, although the accompanying fries were kind of bland. Fish and chips were good too. Service was slow but that's to be expected on a crowded evening. We were surprised to see the check in $USD (no choice of currency offered) rather than in Euros (the coin of the realm), with a 8.75% "exchange rate markup fee" tacked on to the total. We weren't given a choice of currency as stated on the bill (see picture). I've never seen this done elsewhere, seems like a petty way to make a bit of extra money from unsuspecting tourists. We were tired and the place was crowded so we paid and left without comment. But that unwarranted currency fee didn't leave a good taste in our mouths at all.

We arrived for lunch a little after opening on a Saturday. The place filled up quickly and was full before we left. This was also our first time having a meal with the Sweet Chili sauce, which we've both had on other foods before but something about the fried food in Ireland made the sauce that much tastier! We order boneless wings and pepperoni pizza. The Red Headed cocktail was amazing - earthy and a tad sweet. The restaurant overall has a snazzy feel, the bathrooms were by far the nicest I had seen this far and the staff was friendly.
